 INTRODUCTION

All praise is for The Creator, The Lord of the Heavens, The
Owner of the Worlds, The Most Merciful, The Most Beneficent
and the One we worship alone.
Praising the Praiseworthy, the Best of Creation, the Seal of
Prophets, our Noble Messenger and Liege Lord, Sayyiduna
Muhammad (peace be upon him) and praising his noble pure
family, is from amongst the most meritorious of acts. Assalatu
wasalaam alayka ya sayyidi ya Rasool`Allah.
A collection of Salawaats has been created purely for the esale-e-
sawab of all the deceased, the Awliya and the Shuyookh who
have departed this world. In particular for my beloved late father
Hajji Mohammad Zaman, may Allah bless them, raise their
rank and grant them paradise in shah Allah.
I would like to thank my brother Mustapha from Ghana who has
put the graphic content together, spent his valuable time and
effort at no cost. Alhamdulillah, may Allah reward him in this
life and the next, answer his dua`s and grant him success in shah
Allah.

Allahumma salli ala sayyidinā wa mawlanā Ahmad, Alla-dhi ja-'alta ismuhu
muttahidān bismika wa na'tik, Wa sūrata haykalihil jismāni 'ala sūrati Unmūdhuji
haqīqati khalaqallaha sayyidinā Adam ala sūratihi, Wa fajjarta 'unsura mawdū-'in
māddati mahmūlihi min aniyati ana Allah,Bal hatta i-dhā jā-a hu lam yajid-hu
shay-an wa wajadAllahu 'indahu,Wa Alihi wa Sahbihi Wa Sallim
BENEFITS
Reciting it once is equivalent to reciting al-Salat al-Faith 900,000 times.
And reciting it 24 times is like sending Salawat all day and all night without taking a
break for a moment.
Reciting this once is better than reciting the dalail al khayrat.
Within as-Salawat al-Unmudhujiyyah is Ism al-Aʿzam, the Greatest Name of Allah
(‫(ﺳﺒﺤﺎﻧﮫ وﺗﻌﺎﻟﻰ‬.
A person who recites salawat al unmudhujiyya will be protected from Shaytan at the
time of death.

Salawat to Remove Difficulties and Sicknesses

Found in old books by Shaykh Nabahani, reading this salawat 200 to 300 times will
remove difficulties, sicknesses and bring ease, relief and happiness.

Allahumma Salli A'la Sayyidina Muhammad Wa A'la Aali Sayyidina Muhammad
Qad Dh'aqat Heelati Adrikni Ya Rasul Allah

TRANSLATION
O Allah, raise our Master Muhammad and His Family. (O Allah!) I can't find my way
out of this most terrible situation, get me out! Adriknee, reach me, ya Rasul Allah!

 Salawaat of Sayyidina Ali (as)
Sayyidina `Ali (as) said, “If you read this salawat three times daily and a hundred times
on Jumu`ah, it will be as if you have read the salawat of all Creation, including ins, jinn,
angels, and anything that makes salawat on Sayyidina Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬, and the Prophet
‫ ﷺ‬will take you by the hand to Paradise."

Salawaatu 'Llaahi ta`ala wa malaa’ikatihi wa anbiyaaihi wa rusulihi wa jami`ee
khalqihi `alaa Muhammadin wa `alaa aali Muhammad `alayhi wa `alayhimu ‘s-
salaam wa rahmatullaahi ta`ala wa barakaatuh.

TRANSLATION
Blessings of Allah Almighty, of His Angels, of His Prophets, of His Messengers, and all
Creation be upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad; may the Peace and Mercy
of Allah Almighty and His Blessings be upon upon him and upon them.

Salatu Munajiyyah

Allahumma salli `ala sayyidina Muhammadin salaatan tunjinaa bihaa min jamee`i
’l ahwaali wa’l-aafaat, wa taqdee lanaa bihaa min jamee`i ’l-haajaat, wa
tutahhirunaa bihaa min jamee`i ’s-sayyi’aat, wa tarfa`unaa bihaa `indaka `alaa ’d-
darajaat, wa tuballighunaa bihaa aqsaa ’l-ghaayaat min jamee‘i ’l-khayraati fi ’l-
hayaat wa ba`d al-mamaat.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! Exalt Muhammad with blessings that deliver us from every fear, and by means
of them fulfill our every need, and purify us by means of them from every sin, and by
means of them raise us to the highest stations, and by means of them make us attain the
furthest degrees in all that is good in this life and in the life after death.

 Salawat Nuraniyyah/Salawat Badawi Kubra
When Muhammad al-Talmaysani completed Dala'il al-Khayrat 100,000 times, he saw
the Prophet in a dream, saying, “O Muhammad al-Talmaysani! If you read the Salat an-
Nuraniyya of Ahmad al-Badawi, it will be as if you have completed Dala'il al-Khayrat
800,000 times!”

Allahumma salli wa sallim wa baarik `ala Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadin
shajarati ’l-asli ’n-nooraaniyyati wa lam`atil qabdati ’r-rahmaaniyyati wa afdali ‘l-
khaleeqati ’l-insaaniyyati wa ashrafi ’s-soorati ’l-jismaaniyyati wa m`adini ’l-asraari
‘r-rabbaniyyati wa khazaaini ’l-`uloomi ’l-istifaaiyyati, saahibi ’l-qabdati ’l-asliyya
wa ’l-bahjati ’s-saniyya wa ’r-rutbati ’l-`aliyya, man indarajati ’n-nabiyyoona tahta
liwaa’ihi, fahum minhu wa ilayhi, wa salli wa sallim wa baarik `alayhi wa `ala aalihi
wa sahbihi `adada maa khalaqta wa razaqta wa amatta wa ahyayta ilaa yawmi
tab`athu man afnayta wa sallim tasleeman katheera wa ‘l-hamdulillahi rabbi 'l-
`alameen.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! Exalt, greet and bless our master and liege lord Muhammad, the Tree of
Original Light, the Sparkle of the Handful of Divine Mercy, the Best of All Humankind,
the Noblest of Physical Frames, the Vessel of the Lord’s Secrets and Storehouse of the
Sciences of the Elect, the Possessor of the Original Divine Grasp, Resplendent Grace,
and Uppermost Rank, under whose flag line up all the prophets, so that they are from
him and point to him. Bless, greet and sanctify him and his Family and Companions, to
the number of all that You have ever created, sustained, caused to die, and caused to live
again, to the Day You resurrect those You reduced to dust, and greet him with an
abundant and endless greeting. Glory and praise belong to Allah, the Lord of the
Worlds!
Salawat Al-Fatih/The Salutation of the Victor
Salatul Fatih (Prayer of the Opener), commonly known as Durood Fatih in the
subcontinent and Sholawat Fatih in Far East Asia was transmitted by the eminent
gnostic and scholar Abu al-Makarim Shaykh Muhammad Shams al-Din ibn Abi al-
Hasan al-Bakri, a descendent of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, from whom he inherited the
station of supreme truthfulness (al-Siddiqiyya) and attained the loftiest reaches of
mastery in the mystical divine sciences. It is said to have been revealed by Allah to him
upon a piece of paper. It is also attributed to Shaykh Ahmad Tijani, the founder of the
Tijaniyya Sufi order. The prayer is recited by millions of Tijaniyya adherents across the
world as part of their daily wird.

Allahumma salli `alaa sayyidinaa Muhammadini 'l-faatihi limaa ughliq, wa 'l-
khaatimi limaa sabaq, naasiri 'l-haqqi bi 'l-haqq, wa 'l-haadi ilaa siraatika 'l-
mustaqeem, wa `alaa aalihi haqqa qadrihi wa miqdaarihi 'l-`azheem.
TRANSLATION
O Allah, bless our liege-lord Muhammad who opened what was closed and who sealed
what had gone before; he makes the Truth Victorious by the Truth and he is the guide to
Thy Straight Path; and bless his household as it befits his immense stature and splendor.

Salaat al-`Aali al-Qadr

As mentioned by Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani (qs) and many other
awliyaullah, from the Sharh Salawat ad-Dardir al-`allamah as-Saawi, reciting this
salawat will eliminate claustrophobia and bring ease to you in the grave. It will also
remove the fear of the interrogating angels, Munkar and Nakir. It is mentioned that
whoever recites this salawat once every Friday, upon his death Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬will go with
him to his burial and bury him with his own blessed hands! Numerous awliyaullah have
said, "Whoever recites it even once on Friday or from Thursday evening onward, Allah
(ʿAzza wa-jalla) will allow his soul to see the Exemplar of All Souls ‫ﷺ‬," not only when
his soul is leaving the body, but also when he is taken to the grave, until he sees the
Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬is the one taking care of him in that grave. Awliyaullah say to be consistent in
reading as-Salaat al-`Aali al-Qadr ten times daily and once on the night of Jumu`ah will
bring you khayr al-jaseem, the uncountable good that comes from it. Also, the book
Fath ar-Rasool states that who reads it ten times after `Isha will be rewarded as if they
recited it all night.

Allahumma salli wa sallim wa barik `alaa Sayyidina Muhammad an-Nabiyyi 'l-

sallim.
TRANSLATION
O Allah exalt and greet and bless our master Muhammad the Unlettered Prophet, the
Beloved of Highest Value, Possessing Immense Status and on his family and
companions and send them peace.

 Jawharat al-Kamal (The Jewel of Perfection)
(7 times daily)
If you read this salawat seven times a day or more, yuhibbahu mahabbatan khaasah wa
laa yamootu illa waliyyan, Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬will love you with a special love and you will not
leave dunya without being a wali. Whoever recites this salawaat is mentioning the
highest names of Prophet ‫ﷺ‬, Allah (ʿAzza wa-jalla) will open for him as He opened for
His awliyaullah!

Allahumma salli wa sallim `alaa `ayni 'r-rahmati 'r-rabbaaniyati wa 'l yaaqootati 'l-
mutahaqqiqati 'l-haaitati bi-markazi 'l-fuhoomi wa 'l-ma`anee. Wa noori 'l-akwaani
'l-mutakawwinati 'l-aadami sahibil haqqir-rabbani al barqil asta'i bi muzoonil
arbahil maliati li kulli muta'arridhin min al-buhoori wa 'l-awaani. Wa noorika 'l-
laami`u 'Lladhee malaata bihi kawnaka 'l-haa'iti bi-amkinati 'l-makaani.
Allahumma salli wa sallim `alaa `ayni 'l-haqq allatee tajalla minhaa `urooshu 'l-
haqaaiqi `ayni 'l-ma`aarifi 'l aqwami siraatika 't-taami 'l- asqam. Allahumma salli
wa sallim `alaa tal`ati 'l-haqqi bil haqqi al-kanzil `azham. Ifaadatika minka ilayka
ihaatati 'n-noori 'l-mutalsam. Sallallahu `alayhi wa `alaa aalihi salaatan
tu`arrifunaa bihaa iyyaah.
TRANSLATION
O Allah, send benediction upon and salute on the Essence of Divine Mercy, the
Accomplished Ruby encompassing the center of comprehensions and meanings, the
Light of all created universes, the Adamic who possesses Lordly Truth; the all-filling
Lightning in the rain-clouds of gains that fill all the intervening seas and receptacles;
Your Bright Light with which You have filled Your creation and which surrounds all
possible places. O Allah,bless and salute the Essence of Truth from which are
manifested the thrones of realities; the Essence of the Most Righteous Knowledge, Your
Complete and Most Straight Path. O Allah, bless and salute the Advent of the Truth by
the Truth; the Greatest Treasure, Your Outpouring from Yourself to Yourself; the
Encompassment of Talismanic Light. May Allah bless the Prophet and his household, a
prayer which brings us to knowledge of him.

 As-Salatun-Naariyah (As-Salat u'l Tafreejiyyah)
This salawat is from the Kanzu 'l-Asraar and it opens the seven heavens and it was been
tested by great awliya like Imam Sanusi, Sidi Omar Mukhtar, Sidi ibn Hajar al-Asqalani
and Imam al-Qurtubi. It used very much in Morocco. And if a calamity, distress or
danger manifests usually the Sufis and the Ahlu khayr (the people of goodness),gather
together and read it 4,444 times after which they do tawwasul through the Prophet
(saws) and by Allah's Will, safety will come.

Allahuma salli salaatan kaamilatan wa sallim salaaman taaman `alaa Sayyidina
Muhammadi 'Lladhee tanhallu bihi 'l-`uqadu wa tanfariju bihi 'l-kurub wa tuqda
bihi 'l-hawaa'iju wa tunaalu biihi'-r-raghaa'ib wa husunu 'l-khawaatim wa
yustasqaa 'l-ghamaa'im bi-wajhihi'l-kareem wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi fee kulli
lamhatin wa nafasin bi-`adadi kulli m`aloomin laka.
TRANSLATION
Pray to God complete prayers and blessings of full peace on the prophet Mohammed,
who dissolved his contract and eased his anguish and eliminate its cataclysmic events
and impair its raghaa'ib good rings and derives the clouds with his face Karim and his
family and companions in every glance and the same number of all known to you.

Salawat Imam Shafi`i

AbdAllah al-Hakam said, “I saw Imam ash-Shafi`i in my dream and asked him, ‘What
has Allah done with you?’” and he replied, “He poured His Mercy on me, forgave me
and decorated Paradise for me, which came to me as a bride adorned with all her
ornaments and decorations for her husband. They showered me with angels and
heavenly ornaments like they throw (rose petals) over the bride and groom in dunya.” I
asked him, “How did you attain this level, what did you do?” He said, “Someone told
me to recite a specific salawat, which I did.” Recite this salawat to enter Paradise
without questioning:

Allahumma salli `ala Muhammadin `adada maa dhakarahu ‘dh-dhaakiroon wa
ghafala `an dhikrihi ‘l-ghaafiloon.
TRANSLATION
Oh Allah! Bestow Your Mercy and Blessings upon Muhammad whenever he is
remembered, and bestow Your Mercy and Blessings upon Muhammad whenever he is
not remembered.

 Grand Shayk Abdullah Daghestani's Salawat
(100 times daily)
Grandshaykh ‫ﺳـــــﺮه‬
ّ ‫ ﻗﺪس‬said that if you are unable to recite Dala’il al-Khayrat as part of
your daily wird, then recite this salawat 100 times, which is the easiest and simplest
form of salawat on the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬, as it shows the humility of the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬towards His
Lord.

O Allah! Send blessings and peace upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad.

Salawat al-Askandari
One day Jamal`uddin bin `Ali Askandari (ra) saw the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬in a dream who said to
him, “Yaa Muhammad Ibn `Ali al-Askandari! I will teach you some words that if you
read them, it will be as if you read the whole wird with all its rewards! Repeat it ten
times, it will be as if you have recited your entire wird all day and all night, and you will
get the benefits of that reward in addition to the wird you are already doing. Repeat after
me,” and we are saying after the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬:

Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammadini ’s-saabiqi li ’l-khalqihi nooruhu wa
rahmatan li ’l-`alameena zhuhooruhu `adada mam-madaa min khalqika wa mam-
baqiya wa man sa`ida minhum wa man shaqiya salaatan tastaghriqu ’l-`adda wa
tuheetu bi ’l-haddi salaatan laa ghaayata lahaa wa laa muntahaa wa laa amadala wa
lanqidaa salaatan daa’imatan bi-dawaamika baaqiyatan bi-baqaaika wa `ala aalihi
wa sahbihi kadhaalik wa ‘l-hamdulillahi `ala dhalik. Allahumma yaa Rabbee salli
`ala Muhammadin wa `ala aali Muhammad wajzihi Muhammadan `anna maa huwa
ahluhu. Allahumma salli `ala Muhammadin wa `ala aali Muhammadin `adada maa
`alimta wa zeenata maa `alimta wa mil’a maa `alimta. Allahumma salli wa sallim wa
baarik `ala Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadin wa `ala kulli nabiyyin wa `ala
Jibraa’eela wa `ala kulli malakin wa `ala Abi Bakrin wa `ala kulli waliyyin.

 As-Salat al-Kaamil (Between Maghrib and `Isha)
The most honored salawat which awliyaullah said one recitation equals 70,000 salawat,
and in the Shafi`i school of thought they say it is “rewarded with no end,” as Allah's
Perfection has no end! It is read between Maghrib and `Isha, especially to remove
forgetfulness and strengthen the memory:

Allahumma salli wa sallim wa baarik `ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa `ala aalihi
kamaa laa nihayata li-kamaalika wa `adada kamaalih.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! Grant salawat on the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬without end on the number of perfection with
which You dressed him!

Darood Shifaa to see Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬in a Dream

(recite until you fall asleep)
Imam Sha`arani ( ‫ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽ ﻋﻨﮫ‬ٰ ‫ )رﺿــــــــﻲ ﷲ‬related that the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said: Whoever makes
salawat in this way will see me in the dream, whoever sees me in the dream will see me
in the Day of Judgment, whoever sees me in the Day of Judgment I will intercede for
him, whoever I intercede for will drink from my basin, the Hawd al-Kawthar in
Paradise, and whoever drinks from al-Kawthar will be prohibited from entering
Hellfire.
Imam ash-Sha`arani ( ‫ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽ ﻋﻨﮫ‬ٰ ‫ )رﺿﻲ ﷲ‬said:
I said to myself, “I must recite this,” and I recited it before I slept and kept reciting until I
fell asleep. I looked at the moon and saw the Prophet's honorable face, and I spoke with
him. Then ghaba fi ‘l-qamar, I felt he was in the moon until he disappeared. I asked Allah
‫ َ ﱠ‬that for sake of this salawat, give me all the favors He gives, not the normal
‫(ﻋﺰ َ َ ﱠ‬

provision but the one He gave to His Beloved One, Sayyidina Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬, that he
promised to every mu’min, and I felt that I am getting it. (Afdal as-Salawat, Page 58)

Allahumma salli `ala roohi Sayyidina Muhammad fi 'l-arwaahi wa `ala jasadihi fi 'l-
ajsaadi wa `ala qabrihi fi 'l-quboori wa `ala aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! Shower Your Blessings on the soul of Muhammad amongst all souls, and on
the body of Muhammad amongst all bodies, and on the grave of Muhammad amongst
all graves. (Dala'il al-Khayrat, Chapter 3)

 Salawat Dhatiyyah
Who knows Arabic knows how profound this salaat is. Allahumma salli `alaa ‘dh-dhaat
al-mutalsam wa ‘l-ghayb al-mutamtami laahooti ’l-jamaal. Here it expresses that there
is no one more beautiful than Prophet ‫ﷺ‬, he is the beauty of this universe and he is the
beauty of heavens and here Allah sends His prayers and praises on that Essence that no
one knows about, for it is hidden and you cannot penetrate its realities without knowing
the secret codes needed to open it and decode them. For example, if you have a rough
diamond it is a large rock which you break down and break down until you reach the
gem, then you cut it nicely and then after that you have to polish it. He then mentions the
Dhaat al-Mutalsam, that essence that is covered and which no one can open, and al-
Ghayb al-Mutamtam, the unseen ghayb that no one can reach or discuss. It then
mentions al-Laahoot al-Jamaal. “Laahoot” means that which belongs to earth and
“Naasoot” is the connection from earth to heavens, the appearance of Truth, which is
Sayyidina Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬, where Allah dressed him with the dresses of Justice, Beauty
and ..
Insan al-azal fee maa nashari maa lam yazal, “the human being that is living from azal to
abad who will open from the secrets of heavenly Names and Attributes." Fee qaabi
naasoot al- wisaal al-aqrab. He opens only to those who reached the connection
between earthly life and heavenly life, he opened to them as they are moving forward to
heavens. Yaa Allah salli bihi. Salli bihi is different than salli `alayh. It means make the
salaat through him. Salli bihi minhu. Make the salaat from him to him from the Prophet
‫ ﷺ‬to the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and in him, wa sallim, and give greetings of peace. Amin.

Allahumma salli `alaa ‘dh-dhaati 'l-mutalsam wa ‘l-ghaybi 'l-mutamtam laahooti 'l-

Salaatu Ulu'l 'Azm
Reciting this salawat three times is equal to reading the whole Dala’il ul-Khayrat.

Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa Adama wa Noohin wa Ibraahima

salawaatullahi wa salaamuhu `alayhim ajma`een.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! Bestow blessings on Sayyidina Muhammad, Sayyidina Adam, Sayyidina
Nuh, Sayyidina Ibrahim, Sayyidina Musa and Sayyidina `Isa and all the other Prophets
and Messengers who came in between. Allah's Blessings and His Salutations be upon
them all.

 Salawat Dhatiyyah
This salawat is similar to as-Salat al-Kaamil, but with the difference of adding `aala
aalihi `adada kamaalillaah wa kamaa yaleequ bi kamaalihi, “on the number of Allah's
Perfection and on the greatness of the word ‘perfection,’ itself” which is not what we
understand, but rather Divine Perfection that has no less or no more, the highest level of
perfection that is divine, not created. In some narrations which are more commonly
followed in the Shafi`i School and Middle Eastern countries its recitation is similar and
it is said that there is no end to the reward for this salawaat. For that reason they cannot
say it is equal to 600,000 salaat, nor 1,000,000 salaat, this salaat has no end, as Allah’s
Perfection has no end, this salaat has no end to its reward and benefit.

upon His Family according to the Perfection of Allah and as befits his perfection!

Salawat to See Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬In a Dream (71 times)

Whoever likes to see the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬, let him recite this 71 times and you will see the
Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and smell his Holy Fragrance!

O Allah, exalt our Master Muhammad as You ordered us to exalt him and bless our
Master Muhammad as he should be blessed.

Salawat that Equals 100,000 Salawat (1 time daily)

If you recite the following salawat once, it is equal to reciting 100,000 salawat that you
recite daily:

Allahumma salli `alaa Sayyidina Muhammadin `abdika wa nabiyyika wa rasoolika
an-nabiyy al-ummiyy wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim tasleeman bi qadari
`azhamati dhaatika fee kulli waqtin wa heen.
TRANSLATION
O Allah, please send prayers upon Sayyidina Muhammad, Your Servant and Your
Prophet and Your Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, and send peace and greetings as
plenty as Your Greatness, in all times and moments.

Erase 100,000 Grand Sins with One Salawat

‫ َ ﱠ‬will waive 100,000 sins! Allah (‫وﺟﻞ‬
‫)ﻋﺰ َ َ ﱠ‬
If you read this one time, Allah (‫وﺟﻞ‬ ‫ َ ﱠ‬will
‫)ﻋﺰ َ َ ﱠ‬
forgive 100,000 big sins, min al-kabaair. With one recitation of this salawat Allah (‫ﻋﺰ‬ ‫َﱠ‬
‫)وﺟ ﱠﻞ‬
َ َ takes away even 100,000 great sins and with two recitations, 200,000 great sins,
and with three recitations, 300,000 great sins, and with ten recitations, one-million great
sins!

Allahumma salli `alaa Sayyidina Muhammadini ’s-saabiqi li ’l-khalqihi nooruhu wa
rahmatan li ’l-`alameena zhuhooruhu `adada mam-madaa min khalqika wa mam-
baqiya wa man sa`ida minhum wa man shaqiya salaatan tastaghriqu ’l-`adda wa
tuheetu bi ’l-haddi salaatan laa ghaayata lahaa wa laa muntahaa wa lanqidaa wa
tuneelana biha minka ‘r-ridaa salaatan daa’imatan bi-dawaamika baaqiyatan bi-
baqaaika. Allahumma salli `alaa Sayyidina Muhammadini ’Llalladhee mala'ta
qalbahu min jalaalika wa `aynahoo min jamaalika fa-asbaha farihan mu’ayyadan
mansooran wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim tasliman wa ‘l-hamdu lillahi `alaa
dhaalik.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! Exalt our master Muhammad, whose light preceded all Creation, whose
appearance is mercy to all the worlds, on the number of Your Creations which have
passed before and the number of those which remain, those who are fortunate and those
who are not, with blessings which exceed all count and which encompass all limits,
blessings with no limits, no boundaries, ceaseless, blessings which are eternal, enduring
as You endure. O Allah! Bless our Master Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬, whose heart is so full with
Your Glory, and whose eyes are so full of Your Beauty that he came to be overjoyed,
supported and victorious, and bless likewise his Family and Companion and grant him
and them abundant peace, and praise be to Allah (‫وﺟﻞ‬ ‫ َ ﱠ‬for all of that! (in first half of

 To see Your Lord in the Dream
(1000 times on Jumu'ah)
It is said, “Who recites this will see in dream his Lord, or an angel, or the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬, or
he can see his place in Paradise." Inshaa-Allah whoever recites this salawat a thousand
times on Jumu'ah, Allah will grant them to see His Manifestations or His Prophet or
your place in Paradise. If you don't see it, continue to recite it for five weeks, and it was
tried and they were able to see.

Allahumma salli `ala Muhammad an-nabiyy al-ummiyy jazAllahu `anna
Muhammadan maa huwa ahluh.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! Bless our Master Muhammad, the Unlettered Prophet. May Allah reward
Muhammad the reward which is benefiting as he deserves.

The Salawat in at-Tahiyyat

The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said that anyone who reads this salawat once every day will not feel
sakharaat al-mawt, the pain of death, and his soul will go smoothly, as the hadith
mentions that the soul of the mu`min will leave the body like a hair being pulled from
ghee, so easily. So recite the above mentioned salawat together with the recitation of the
Jawharat al-Kamaal (link) at least once daily.

Salawat as-Sa`adah

salawat once, it is rewarded as if you said salawaat 600,000 times and if you recite it
seventy times a day you will be released from Hellfire!

Allahumma salli wa sallim `alaa Sayyidina wa Mawlana Muhammadin `adada maa
fee `ilmillahi salaatan daa’imatan bi-dawaami mulkillah.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! Exalt and send peace on our Leader and Master Muhammad on the number
of what exists in Allah’s Knowledge with ongoing prayers as long as Allah’s
Kingdom exists.

 Salat-i Tibbiyya
Also known as Durood Shifaa i Qulub, this Salawat is a cure for Spiritual and Physical
illnesses and protects against the whispering of the accursed shaytan and the
interference of the nafs in good works.

Allahumma Salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammadin Tibbil qulubi wa dawaa’iha, Wa

Sahbihi wa Sallim.
TRANSLATION
O Lord! Send blessings on our master Muhammad, The medicine of hearts and their
cure, The health of bodies and their healing, The light of eyes and their illumination, and
upon his family, companions, and send peace

Salawaat for Shifaa/Healing (3 times at Fajr)

Through this salawaat, as soon as we say, “O Allah! Praise the Prophet (s) on the number
‫ َ ﱠ‬takes away all (spiritual and physical) illnesses
‫(ﻋﺰ َ َ ﱠ‬
of sicknesses and cures,” Allah (‫وﺟﻞ‬
from us and gives us the cure, as every illness has its cure. This salawaat is to cure every
spiritual illness from the 800 bad characteristics; you must make salawaat on the
Prophet (s) in this form before illnesses burst into new forms in your body. Reciting this
salawaat will take away all the rust from our hearts and give provision for the soul.

Allahumma salli `alaa Sayyidinaa Muhammad wa `alaa aali Sayyidinaa
Muhammad bi `adadi kulli daa`in wa dawaa`in wa baarik wa sallim `alayhi wa
`alayhim katheeran katheera, wa ‘l-hamdulillahi rabbi ‘l-`aalameen.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! Upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad be blessings, according to
the number of every illness and cure. Bless and grant peace to him and them, many
times, endlessly. And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.

man baqa waman saeda minhum wa man shaqeya sala-waatan Ta’s-tagh-riqul-Adda
wa Tuhee to Bil-Hadde sa-laataan Laa Ghaayata Lahaa wa laa Muntahee walaa an
Qazaa’a salaatan Daae-ma-tan Be-da-waa-mika wa alaa aalehee wa sah-behee wa
sallim Tasaleeman Misla zaa-lik
TRANSLATION
Oh Allah, send thy blessings on our Master Muhammad (pbuh) whose light was created
before anything else in this world and whose appearance became mercy and signal boon
for all creatures, equivalent to all those created previously and hereafter, equal in
number with the lucky and unlucky ones. Send thy blessings and bounties on him in the
number which is impossible to be counted, and which may be spread all over; and also
that kindness and mercy which has neither beginning nor end, and which is always fresh
and fine with your kindness. And the same blessings on his family and companions
permanently.

TRANSLATION

TRANSLATION
O Allah! shower thy blessings upon our Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who is light,
actual light and the mystery amongst the mysteries and the leader of excellence.

Salawat/Durood Anam
Durood Anam read once gives the reader that is unimaginable. It is regarded by the very
pious as the crown of Duroods. This Durood should be read especially when in the Holy
City of Madina. Ideally it should be read 313 times before going to bed when in the Holy
City.

master and on his children according to the number of thy reward and thy bounties.

Durood Qurani can benefit us by providing us the equivalent of ONE QURAN’S
SAWAAB by reading it after every prayer.

O Allah send your blessings and peace upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) our
master and on his children and his companions in the amount equal to the total letters in
the Quran and let each letter carry thousands of blessings with it.

O Allah! Shower Thy blessings on Mohammad (pbuh) and make him enter the highest
place which is the greatest before you on the day of resurrection.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! shower thy blessings and beneficence on Muhammad, Thy creature and Thy
Messenger, and shower beneficence on all men of faith and women of faith, and Muslim
men and Muslim women.

Salawat/Durood Ibrahimiya
Salat Ibrahimiya (the Prayer of Ibrahim), commonly known as Durood Ibrahim in
South Asia is a prayer upon the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬that was revealed by the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬himself. It
has been related in various hadith books such as Bukhari and Muslim where it is
mentioned that it is the best and most complete form of salutation upon the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬. It
is usually recited in salah after reciting tashahhud whilst in the sitting position. There
are a number of different wordings of the prayer; we have related three of the most
common ones.

Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad(in), kamā bārakta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli

TRANSLATION
O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad just as You
have sent prayers upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim, verily You are the
Praiseworthy, the Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
just as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, verily You are the
Praiseworthy, the Glorious.

s(w)aa-he bal mo’je-zaa-te wa saa-he-bil ma-qaa mil mah-moo-de sayyidil-aw-
waleena wal-aakhireen.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! shower thy beneficence on our master Muhammad (pbuh), the most favoured
of Thy Prophets and the most honoured of Thy chosen persons, whose radiant life is the
source of all light and who is the conferee of miracles and conferee of the most glorious
place (Maqam-i-Mahmood) and who is the leader of the previous and the later.

As-salaatu was-salam alaika ya Rasulla-llah wa-alaa aalika wa-as(w)a-bi-ka ya
habeeba-llah.
TRANSLATION
O Nabi! May peace and blessings of Allah be upon you! and your family, I salute you
with submission and full respect, with blessings and mercy of Allah upon you.

 Salawat/Darood Taj

Salat al-Taj (the Prayer of the Crown), or Darood Taj as it’s commonly known in the
Indian subcontinent, is a well-known prayer upon the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬which was composed
by Shaykh Abu Bakr bin Salim. Shaykh Abu Bakr was a scholar and gnostic born in the
town of Tarim in the Hadhramaut Valley of South Yemen on 13 Jumada al-Thani in 919
AH (corresponding to Saturday August 16, 1513 CE). Among his titles was Fakhr al
Wujud, meaning “the Pride of Existence”

 TRANSLATION
O Allah, send prayers upon our master and patron Muhammad, the possessor of the
crown, the Mi’raj, the Buraq and the flag, the repeller of hardships, epidemics,
droughts, diseases and pain. His name is written, exalted, combined and engraved upon
the tablet and pen. The master of both Arabs and non-Arabs, whose body is sanctified,
fragrant, pure and illuminated in the House and the Sanctuary. He is the bright sun, the
full moon of the dark night, the foremost in loftiness, the light of guidance, the cave of
refuge for mankind, the lantern in darkness. He is of beautiful character, the intercessor
for nations, the possessor of graciousness and generosity. Allah is his protector, Gabriel
his servant, the Buraq his mount, the Mi’raj his voyage, the Lote Tree of the Uppermost
Limit his station, two bows’ length or nearer the object of his quest; that which is sought
is that which he desires and that which he desires is that which he finds. Allah is his

finds. The master of the two weighty things (humans and Jinn), the Prophet of the two
sanctuaries, the Imam of the two Qiblas, our means of salvation in both abodes, the one
at two bows length, the beloved of the Lord of the two Easts and the two Wests, the
grandfather of Imam Hasan and Imam Husayn, our protector and the protector of the
two worlds, the Father of Qasim, Muhammad, the son of Abdullah, a light from the light
of Allah. O you who yearns for the light of his beauty, invoke abundant blessings and
peace upon him, his family and Companions.

Salawat/Darood Sawaab
In a matter of seconds it is possible to gain millions of Durood Sawaab. Due to Allah’s
blessing we have the opportunity to read a Durood Sharif whereby one can gain the
equivalent of 6000,000 Durood Sharif Sawaab by reading it just once.Allah Almighty
has given us the ability to gain sawaab, the equivalent to a lifetime of reading Durood
Sharif in a matter of seconds.

Allah-humma salle alaa sayyidina wa mawalana Muhammadin a-da-da maafi is-
millah salaatan daa-e-ma tambi-da-wa-me mulki-llah.
TRANSLATION
O Allah shower blessings upon Muhammad (pbuh) our master in the number that is in
Thy knowledge, such that blessings may continue forever eternal as Thy Kingdom.

 Salawat/Darood Mashishiyya
Salat al-Mashishiyya was transmitted by the great saint and Gnostic Abd al-Salam Ibn
Mashish. Of the well-known formulas of prayer, this is one of the best, and its virtues
are immense. It is effective for forging a special connection (nisbat) with the Prophet
Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬and for seeing him in dreams. It is considered the most important prayer
upon the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬in the Shadhili Tariqa.

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā man minhu-n-shaqqati-l-asrār, wa-n-falaqati-l-anwār, wa
fīhi-r-taqati-l-ḥaqā'iq, wa tanazzalat ʿulūmu Ādama fa-aʿjaza-l-khalā'iq, wa lahu
tadā'alati-l-fuhūmu fa-lam yudrik-hu minna sābiqun wa lā lāḥiq, fa-riyāḍu-l-
malakūti bi-zahri jamālihi mūniqah, wa ḥiyādu-l-jabarūti bi-fayḍi anwārihi
mutadaffiqah, wa lā shay'a illā wa huwa bihi manūṭ, idh lawla-l-wāsiṭatu la-dhhaba
kamā qīla-l-mawsūṭ, ṣalātan talīqu bika minka ilayhi kamā huwa ahluh, Allāhumma
innahu sirruka-l-jāmiʿu-d-dāllu ʿalayk, wa ḥijābuka-l-aʿẓamu-l-qā'imu laka bayna
yadayk, Allāhumma alḥiqni bi-nasabih, wa ḥaqqiqnī bi ḥasabih, wa ʿarrifnī iyyāhu
mʿarifatan aslamu bihā min mawāridi-l-jahl, wa akraʿu bihā min mawāridi-l-faḍl,
wa-ḥmilnī ʿalā sabīlihi ilā ḥadratik, ḥamlan maḥfūfan bi-nuṣratik, wa-qdhif bī ʿala-
l-bāṭili fa-admaghah, wa zujja bī fī biḥāri-l-aḥadiyyah, wa-nshulnī min awḥāli-t-
tawhīd, wa aghriqnī fī ʿayni baḥri-l-waḥdah, hattā lā arā wa lā asmaʿa wa lā ajida wa
lā uḥissa illā bihā, wa-jʿali-l-ḥijāba-l-aʿẓama ḥayāta rūḥi, wa rūḥahu sirra ḥaqīqatī,
wa ḥaqīqatahu jāmiʿa ʿawālimī bitaḥqīqi-l-ḥaqqi-l-awwal, Yā Awwalu Yā Ākhiru Yā
Ẓāhiru Yā Bāṭin, ismʿa nidā'i bimā samiʿta bihi nidā'a ʿabdika Zakariyyā, wa-nṣurni
bika lak, wa ayyidni bika lak, wa-jmaʿ baynī wa baynak, wa ḥul baynī wa bayna
ghayrik. Allāāāh Allāāāh Allāāh.
Inna-lladhī faraḍa ʿalayka-l-qur'āna la-rādduka ilā maʿād. (28:85)
Rabbanā ātinā min ladunka raḥmatan wa-hayyi' lanā min amrinā rashada. (18:10)
Inna-Llāha wa-malā'ikatahu yuṣallūna ʿalā n-nabiyyi yā ayyuhā-lladhīna āmanū ṣallū
ʿalayhi wa sallimū taslīma. (33:56)

 TRANSLATION
O Allah, send prayers upon the one from whom the spiritual secrets were sundered, and
from whom the lights burst forth, and in whom the ultimate realities arose. The one in
whom descended the knowledge of Adam and thus stymied all of creation, and before
whom all understandings dwindled. The gardens of the dominion (malakut) are fair
with the flowering of his resplendent beauty, and the pools of the omnipotence (jabarut)
pour forth through his ever-flowing illuminations. And there is nothing except that it is
conditioned by him, since if not for the means, the end — as has been said — would
have gone. Send upon him such a prayer that truly befits You — from You unto him as is
deserving to him. O Allah, indeed, he is Your all-embracing secret, the guide unto You,
and Your Supreme Sentinel standing for You, before You. O Allah! Connect me with his
lineage, realize me through his excellence, grant me knowledge of him — knowledge
through which I attain salvation from the streams of ignorance, and by which I may sip
from the streams of bounty. And carry me on his path unto Your Divine Presence — with
a carrying surrounded by Your aid. And hurl me against falsehood so I smash it, and
plunge me into the seas of Absolute Oneness, and pluck me from the mires of affirming
unity, and drown me in the centre of the sea of oneness until I neither see nor hear nor
find nor sense anything but by it. O Allah! Make the Supreme Sentinel the life of my
spirit, and make his spirit the secret of my reality, and make his reality the connector of
my realms, by the realization of the first truth. O First! O Last! O Outward! O Inward!
Hear my plea as You heard the plea of Your servant Zakariyya. And grant me victory
through You and for You, and aid me through You and for You, and join me and You, and
come between me and other than You. Allah, Allah, Allah!
Verily the One who has enjoined the Quran upon you shall most certainly bring you
back to a return. (28:85)
O our Lord! Grant us a mercy from You, and grant us rectitude in our affair. (18:10)
Indeed, Allah and His angels send prayers upon the Prophet. O you who believe! Send
prayers and abundant salutations upon him! (33:56)

TRANSLATION
O Allah shower blessings upon Muhammad (pbuh) our master in the number that is in
Thy knowledge, such that blessings may continue forever eternal as Thy Kingdom.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings upon our master Muhammad, who is the medicine of our hearts
and its remedy and the health of our bodies and its healing, and the light of our vision
and its radiance, and (bless) his family and companions with peace.

hakeem, bin mar-rat, bin ka-a-bi bin lu-ayyi bin gaa-li-bi bin fih-ri ibin maalik bin
naz-ri bin jonas-na-ta bin khu-zaima-ta ibin mud-ri-ka-ta bin il-yaa-sa bin mu-dha-
ra bin na-zaari ibin ma’a-ddi bin ad-naa-na.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings upon our master Muhammad, who is the medicine of our hearts
and its remedy and the health of our bodies and its healing, and the light of our vision

Salawat/Darood Mafi
Durood Mafi is ideal for tipping the scale in our favour because it helps us in forgiveness
of our minor sins.

Salawat/Darood Sa`adat
Shaykul Dala`il Sayyidi Ali bin Yusuf Madani (Rahimatullah Alaihi) narrated from
Hazrat Jalaaludeen Suyooti that reciting this Durood Sharif once make the person gain
blessings of reciting Duroods 600,000 times.

O Allah! shower Thy blessings and peace upon our master and Sovereign Muhammad
according to the number of God’s knowledge, perpetual prayer, perpetuating the
kingdom of God.

 Salawat/Darood 80 years sawaab
Reading this Durood Sharif 80 times after the Fard of the Asr prayer on Friday. Before
standing up it results in 80 years sawaab recorded for the individual and 80 years of sins
forgiven by Allah Ta’allah. A sacrifice of about five minutes every week can lead to such
blessings from Allah Almighty.

O Allah! send blessings upon Muhammad (pbuh) our chief the unlettered Apostle, and
send blessings upon his family, and Thy favours and Thy salutations.

Allah-humma salle alaa nabiyyina Muhammad alayhi salaam, salaatan tadumu wa

TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him, a
prayer that lasts and guides to him as long as the nights go by and for a long time.

Allah-humma salle was-sallim alaa sayiduna muhammad wa alaa alih muhammad
bi a-da-da-di rahmat-llah. Allah-humma salle was-sallim alaa sayiduna muhammad
wa alaa alih muhammad bi a-da-da-di fadh-li-llah. Allah-humma salle was-sallim
alaa sayiduna muhammad wa alaa alih muhammad bi a-da-da-di halki-llah. Allah-

da-di maa fii ilmi-llah.
TRANSLATION
May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Master Muhammad and upon the
family of Muhammad, according to the number of God's mercy. May the peace and

according to the number of the grace of God. May the peace and blessings of Allah be
upon our Master Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad according to the

Allah-humma salle alaa sayyidina Muhammadin-nabiyyi-il ummiyyi wa alaa
aalehee was-sallim tas-lee-man w`astagfirullah-al-azeem wa atuubu ilaihi.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad (pbuh) The Prophet not
thought by man (but by you), and also upon his pure family. I beg forgiveness of Allah
The Great and and turn to him in repentance.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad (pbuh) the leader of
both worlds, the Grandfather of Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain, and make the salat
upon him the coolness of my eyes. And peace and blessings upon his pure family and

Allah-humma salle alaa sayyidina Muhammadin sahibil maqaami al-as-nal makh-
suu-si bi-sharafil-adnaa man law-laa huwa maa-kunnaa wag-mur-nee bi-an-faa-si-
di fil-his-si wal-ma-anaa wa alaa aalihee wa sahbihee was-sallim.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad (pbuh) the one who
holds the station of Excellence, the one honoured with (the essence of ) proximity. If not
for Him we would not have come into existence - and immerse me in His breathes
(light) both spiritually and physically.

Allah-humma salle alaa sayyidina Muhammadin abeebir-rahman wa dur-rat-il-ak-
waani haad(h)i-ri ma`a man sallaa alayhi fee kul-li zamanin wa makaanin wa alaa
aalehee wa sahbihee taa-bi-i-him bi ih-san.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad (pbuh) The beloved of
The Most Merciful, The (Most Unique and Precious) Pearl of the Cosmos, who is
Present with The One who (asks Allah to) send Blessings upon Him in every time and
place. And peace be upon His pure family, companions and followers with Excellence.

Allah-humma salle alaa bad-ril muneer-il-basheer ruhi ma`anal wujuud war-
rahmat-il-muh-daati li-kulli maw-jud wa alaa aalehee wa sahbihee taa-bi-i-him ilaa
yawm-il-mau`ud.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings and peace upon The Radiant Full Moon, the bringer of glad
tidings, the warner, The spirit and essence of all existence. The Gift of (immense) mercy
for all that is in existence, and upon His pure Family and Companions and all those that
come after them.

Allah-humma salle alaa sayyidina Muhammadinil-ladhee maa zu-ki-ra ismu`u alaa
mareedhen illaa shu`ufee wa laa saqeemin illaa u`ufee wa alaa aalehee wa sahbihee
was-sallim.

TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the one when His name
is mentioned the sick is cured and no sickness remains but (only) wellbeing, and peace
and blessings be upon His pure Family and Companions.

saahe bil-sarraaya w`al-Ata`aya yaa saahibil Maqaami Al-Mahmoodi w`al Hawdhil
Mawroodi wa saahibil sujoodi Lil Rabbil Ma`abood.
TRANSLATION
O Allah! send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, the Prophet of Arabia,
of the Quraysh tribe, of the Hashim family of Makkah and Madinah, the one who is thw
wearer of the Holy Cap, the one who ascended to the heavens and fought the holy wars,
and achieved boons and bounties. The one who has the place of praise and who is in
charge of the Kawthar (fountain in paradise).and the one ever bowed in supplication to
Allah (and Allah alone).

Salawat/Darood Muatafa
The religious people and the Awliya Allah said that whoever recites this Durood Shareef
regularly every Thursday night, at least once, then at the time of his or her death, he or
she will see the blessed countenance of Rasoolullah ‫ ﷺ‬and when he or she enters the
grave, that person will make the Ziarat of Rasoolullah ‫ﷺ‬. They will see Rasoolullah ‫ﷺ‬
with his own blessed hands taking him or her in their grave.

 QASEEDA BURDA SHAREEF
Hadhrat Imaam Saalih Sharaf-ud-Deen Abu Abdullah Muhammad Bin Hasan Al-
Busiri ‫ رﺣﻤﺔ ﷲ ﻋﻠـــﯿﮫ‬has spoken about his love for Rasoolullah ‫ﷺ‬. He ‫ رﺣﻤﺔ ﷲ ﻋﻠــﯿﮫ‬tries to
conceal this love and his beloved. This is why we see that He ‫ رﺣﻤﺔ ﷲ ﻋﻠـــــــــــــــﯿﮫ‬has not
described the name of Rasoolullah ‫ ﷺ‬directly in the whole section. We observe that he
‫ رﺣﻤﺔ ﷲ ﻋﻠــــــــــــﯿﮫ‬has mentioned the places and things which are near to Madinah so that
Rasoolullah ‫ ﷺ‬is pleased. His love for Rasoolullah ‫ ﷺ‬has made him uneasy and restless.

ِ ْ َ ْ ‫ﺧﯾــر‬ َ َ
ِ ْ ‫ﺣﺑﯾﺑـك‬ ِ ْ ِ َ ‫ﻋﻠــــــــــــــــــــــﻰ‬

(The beloved Prophet) Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬is My Lord! Send salutations and greetings
the Leader of both worlds and both forever upon Your beloved ‫ ﷺ‬who is the
creations (man and jinn); and of both best of all creations.

ُ ْ َ ‫وأوﻣض‬
َ َ ْ َ َ ‫دم‬ ٍ َ ْ ‫ﻣن ﱡ‬
ِ َ ِ‫ﻣﻘﻠﺔم ﺑ‬ ْ ِ ‫ﺟرى‬ ٰ َ ً ‫دﻣﻌـــــــــــــــــﺎ‬َْ ‫ت‬ َ ‫ﻣزْﺟ‬ََ
02 Or is it because of the breeze blowing 01 Are the tears mixed with blood

‫وﻣﺿطـرم‬ ْ ّ ِ ‫ﻣﻧﺳــﺟم‬
ٍ ِ َ ْ ُ ‫ﺑﯾن‬
َ ْ َ ‫َﻣــــــــــــــــــﺎ‬ ‫ﯾﮭـم‬ َِ ْ ‫ت‬
ِ ِ َ ‫اﺳﺗﻔْﻖ‬ ْ ُ ‫إن‬
َ ‫ﻗﻠ‬ َ ِ ْ َ ِ ‫وﻣــــــــــــــــــــﺎ‬
ْ ‫ﻟﻘﻠﺑك‬ َ َ

‫واﻟﺳـــــــــــﻘم‬ ِ ْ ‫دول اﻟ ﱠ‬
‫دﻣﻊ َ ﱠ‬ ُ ُْ‫ﻋ‬ َ
ُ ‫ﻋﻠﯾــــــــــك‬ْ َ َ ‫ﺑﮫ‬ ِِ ِ َ َ ْ َ ‫اﻟﺑـــــــــــــــــــــــﺎن‬
‫واﻟﻌﻠـم‬ ِ َ ْ ‫ذﻛر‬ِ ْ ِ ‫ت ِﻟـ‬ ْ
َ ‫َوﻻَ َ ِأرﻗ‬

‫ﺑـــــــــــــــــــﺎﻷﻟـم‬
ِ ِ ‫ت‬ ‫ﱠ‬ ‫ﯾﻌﺗـرض ﱠ‬
ِ ‫اﻟﻠـذا‬ ‫َ ْ ُ ﱡ‬
ُ ِ َ ْ َ ‫واﻟﺣب‬ َ ْ
‫واﻟﻌﻧـم‬
ِ َ َ ‫دﯾك‬ َ ْ ‫ﻋﻠﻰ َﺧ ﱠ‬ ْ
ٰ َ ‫اﻟﺑﮭــــــــــــــــــــﺎر‬
ِ َ َ ‫ﻣﺛل‬ َ ْ ِّ
08 Yes! Thoughts of the beloved came to 07 And the deepest love has carved two

ِ ِ َ ْ ُ ِ ‫داﺋـــــــــــــــــــﻲ‬
‫ﺑﻣﻧﺣﺳـم‬ ِ َ َ‫ﺷـﺎة َوﻻ‬ ُ ْ ‫ﻋن‬
ِ َ ‫اﻟو‬ ِ َ َْ ‫ت‬
ِ ُ َ ‫ﻟم‬
‫ﺗﻠـم‬ ْ َ ْ ‫وﻟو‬
َ ‫أﻧﺻﻔـ‬ ْ َ َ ‫إﻟﯾك‬
َ ْ َ ِ ‫ﻣﻧـــــــــــــــــــــﻲ‬
ِّ ّ ِ
10 My state (of love) has reached you, 09 You! Who reproach me, regarding my
(now) my secret is no longer concealed love, excuse me from me to you and if
from those who malign (me), nor there you do justice, you would not reproach
is (something to) check my agony. me.

‫اﻟﺗﮭم‬ ‫ﻋن‬
ِ َ ‫ﺻﺢ‬
ٍ ْ ُ ‫ﻧ‬ ْ ِ ‫ﺷﯾب َ ْأﺑﻌَُد‬
‫ﻓﻲ‬ ُ ْ ‫َواﻟ ﱠ‬ ‫ﺻﻣم‬
ََِ ‫ﻓﻲ‬
ْ ِ ِ ُ ‫ﱠ‬ ْ
‫اﻟﻌذال‬ ‫ﻋن‬
ِ َ ‫إن ْ ُ ِ ﱠ‬
‫اﻟﻣﺣب‬ ‫ِ ﱠ‬
12 I regarded the advice of the elders with 11 You (O listener) have sincerely advised
suspicion in reproaching me. (No me (and) I have not paid any attention
doubt,) the wisdom in the advice of the to it. Verily, a (true) lover is deaf to
elders is above (any) suspicion. those who advise (and criticize him).

‫وﺻﺣﺑﮫ‬ َ َ ‫ﻋﻠـــــﯽ اﻟﮫ‬َ ‫ﻣﺣﻣد ﱠو‬ َ َ َ ‫ﺳﯾدﻧﺎ‬

‫وﻣوﻻﻧﺎ ُ َ ﱠ‬ َ ِ ِّ َ ‫ﻋﻠـــــﯽ‬ َ ‫ﺻل‬ ‫َ ّ ُﱠ‬
ّ ِ َ ‫اﻟﻠﮭم‬
ّ ِ َ َ ‫وﺑـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــﺎرک‬
‫وﺳﻠم‬ ِ َ َ
I request all of my brothers and sisters to make their habit to recite the Durood
on a daily basis as much as they can. This would show our deepest love with
The beloved Prophet) Muhammad (pbuh) and this is how we can hold the
rope of Allah Almighty. The habitation of reciting the Durood is also the
guarantee that Allah Almighty would take the responsibility of all works of
reciter regarding both this life and Hereafter.
I am really thankful to all who assisted and guided me in compiling this book.
May Allah Almighty give all of us such a reward which causes the real
pleasure and never leads to decline.
I have tried my level best to make perfection and would appreciate if the
reader of this book lets me know about any shortcoming regarding the
translation of Durood Shareef.

‫اﻟﻠﮭم َﻓﺷﻔﻌﮫ ﻓﻲ‬ َ ْ ُ ِ ‫ھذه‬
‫ﻟﺗﻘﺿﻰ ِﻟﻲ ﱠ ُ ﱠ‬ ِ ِ َ ‫ﺣﺎﺟﺗﻲ‬ ِ َ َ ‫رﺑﻲ ِﻓﻲ‬ ِ َ ‫ﺑك إﻟﻰ‬ َ ‫َ ﱠ‬
َ ِ ‫ﺗوﺟﮭت‬
Allahumma inni as’aluka wa atawajjahu ilayka bi nabiyyika Muhammad, Nabiyyu
rahma, ya Muhammad inni atawajjahat bika ilaa rabbii fii haajatii hadhihi li-tuqda
li Allahumma fa-shaffi’hu fiyya
TRANSLATION
"O Allah! I am asking You and turning to You through Your Prophet Muhammad, the
Prophet of Mercy. O Muhammad! [YA MUHAMMAD!] I am turning to My Lord,
taking you as a means for my request to be granted. O Allah, grant me his intercession.
