-Gender neutral pronouns and terms have been used, as
transgender and non-binary people can also get pregnant.
An asterisk [ * ] symbol has been used alongside some
words (such as 'woman' and 'mother') in order to indicate
that the word includes other genders either because a
fitting gender neutral term could not be found, or because
the word was part of dialogue directly pulled from a source
(for proper qouting)
What is abortion?
To put it simply, abortion is the
procedure to end a pregnancy or to
terminate a pregnancy.
This procedure is carried out by
taking medicines or having a surgical
procedure
The abortion debate is an ongoing
controversy surrounding the moral,
legal, and religious status of induced
abortion.
Pro-life and Pro-choice
Pro-life presses on the right of the embryo/fetus to
gestate to term and be born.
Pro-choice emphasizes that it is the pregnant
person's choice whether to terminate a pregnancy.
Pro-life
The pro-life activists state that abortion is an
abomination. "It makes no sense for a
woman* to murder a human being not even
born."
A fetus is the beginning of life. They argue
that regardless of the person's life situation
(many who abort are poor, young, or drug
users), the value of a human life cannot be
measured.
Some even state that if one did not want to
get pregnant, they should have been more
responsible.
Abortion should be banned. Besides, there
are plenty of couples who are willing to
adopt an unwanted child.
Pro-choice
"Abortion is a choice that should be
decided by each woman*". It is not
murder as the fetus is not yet fully
human.
Most importantly, regardless of the
reason for abortion, it should be the
pregnant person's choice because it is
their body.
While adoption is an option some
choose because of their respective
situations, many individuals do not
want to suffer the emotional and
physical trauma of pregnancy and labor
only to then give up the child.
Abortion and its outcomes
To further understand this topic, lets take a look at some of it's pros and
cons.

Conclusion
This is not an argument that can be won. When women*
are urged to “shout your abortion”, and when abortion
becomes the subject of stand-up comedy, the attitude
toward abortion seems morbid. Who could possibly be
proud that they see no humanity at all in the ultrasound
images that science has made so pointedly clear? When
anti-abortion advocates speak in the most graphic terms
about people “sucking babies out of the womb,” they
show themselves without mercy. They are not
considering the extremely human, complex, and often
heartbreaking reasons behind a person's private
decisions.
