VIDEO CONFERENCING TOOLS-ZOOM AND GOOGLE MEET


Aim

To familiarise with the video conferencing tools - Zoom and


Google Meet.
Procedure
i) Zoom
A) To get started with Zoom
1) Goto zoom.us and click on the "SIGN UP" button that is at the top
right corner of the
Screen.

(B) Adding participants


1) Start a new meeting on the Zoom desktop app.

D) Recording Zoom meetings


1) In the Zoom toolbar, click on the Record' icon.
2) This starts the recording) and at meeting menbers wil see the word "Recordingn
red at the top of the scfeer.
3) Click on "Pause/stop Recording" to stop recording the meeting.
4) After you end the meetihg, Zoom converts the recording to MP4 larmat and stores
it in your preferredlocation...¥ou can now easily access your recorded sessions any
time you want.
E) Screen sharing)
Click on the "Share screen" icon in the toolbar at the bottom.
2) Click Screen ’ Share to share your screen or Whlteboard ’ Share to share
your whiteboard.

A) Start a video meeting and adding participants

2) Click New meeting ’ start an instant meeting.

B) Joining the meeting
1) From your email, click Join call and click Ask-to join. You can join the meeting
when the host allows you in.
OR

Click jhe meeting link sent toyou and click\Ask to join to join the meeting.
C) Sereen sharing
1) | Click Present now lcon in the tool bar at the bottom.

3) If you want to share the entire screen, click Entire screen. Select the screen and
click share. Now the entire screen is shared.

4) Click Stop sharing to stop presenting.

Click mute icon to mute the audio.

E) Start video
Click start video to start the vide0.

F) Leaving meeting
Click Leave call to leave the imeeting.
Result

Thus video conferencing experience is done with Zoom and Google Meet
successfully.
