In groups of 5 or 6 students choose one of the following bands:

Oasis, Coldplay, Blur, Keane, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys.

Once you have chosen the band and agreed with the rest of your classmates, do some research into it and
bring that information to the next class.

Things to research:
 Origin of the band's name: Who/ What inspired its name?
 Names of the band´s members: Who is/was the drummer, bassist, singer, lead vocalist, guitarist,
keyboard player, etc.?
 What is/was their style? (appearance) Where did the band come from?
 Why was/is the band well known?
 Which are its most important/popular albums? Which are its most popular songs?
 When were those albums released?
 Describe the band's songs, sounds, and rhythms.

The next step will be to present your information in a creative way in a presentation of 10 to 15 minutes.
You should make your presentation interactive. All members need to participate. Your presentation should be

You can also bring costumes for that day!

Tell me who the members of your group are and the band that you have chosen :)
