1. Ranjan borrow Rs 50000 from rakesh at simple interest. After 3 years, rakesh gets Rs 3000
more than what he had given to ranjan. What was the rate of interest ?
2. Rakesh took a loan for 7 years at the rate of 6% p.a S.I . If the total interest paid was Rs 2110,

4. If the si on a certain sum of money for 3 years at the rate of 12.5 % is Rs 3500 less than its

6. The rate of SI for 1st 3 years is 6%, for next 4 years it is 7%, and the period beyond 7 years it is
7.5% p.a. If a man invest Rs 18800 foe 11 years find the si earned by him ?
7. The rate of SI on a certain sum of money is 4% P.A for 1st two years , 6% P.A for next 4 years,
and 8% P.A for the period beyond 6 years. If the S.I earned by a sun is Rs 1120 in 9 years, find
the sum.
8. A bicycle can be purchased on cash payment of Rs 1500. But the same cycle can also be
purcgased on the cash down payment of Rs 350 and rest can be paid in three equal monthly
installment of Rs. 400 for next three months. Find the rate of S.I.
9. The cash price of a pen is Rs 60, but it can also be purchased on a cash down payment of Rs 20
and 6 monthly equal installment at the rate of Rs 8 per month. Find the rate percentage

11. A certain sum at certain rate percentage P.A S.I becomes Rs 2100 in 2 years and Rs 2250 in 5
years. Find principle and rate of interest .
12. If a certain sum of money invested for a certain time it amounts to Rs 350 at 5% P.A and it
amounts to Rs 250 at 3% P.A . find the time and principle.
13. If a certain sum of money amounts to 10,000 in 5 years and Rs 10,800 in 7 years at a certain
rate of interest. Find rate percent.
14. Rs 26,000 is invested in two different parts in such a way that the S.I from 1st part at 10% P.A
for 5 years is equal to the S.I on 2nd part at 9% P.A for 6 years. Find both the parts
15. Rs 12,600 is invested in 3 parts in such a way that S.I on 1st part at 2% P.A for 3 years is equal
to S.I on 2nd par at 3% P.A for 4 years is equal to S.I on 3rd part at 4% P.A for 5 years are equal.
Find the S.I on each part.
