Do or Die

Introduction:

Teacher: So class you are about to take a visit of certain school to which you are
interested about its history. Remember that I will be giving you five days to stay there.
Please be reminded of your behavior okay? Especially that I won’t be coming along with
you.

(The whole class never listen for they are busy chattering and bullying Jacques)

Teacher: Class! Alright, so again… (the teacher had to explain it again.)

Scene 1: Bus on trip

Maddison: Kuya, was it still so far before we can arrive to our destination? This whole
trip already bores me.

Jaimrey: Hey! Shut up! I think were already near.

Else: Guys! We’re here!

Jaimrey: See? We just have arrived Maddie. Don’t bring your temper here with you, it
won’t do you good.

Maddison: Whatever. (They all got out on the bus and later stood up on the front gate
looking up with the school’s name)

Scene 2: The Arrival

Ainah: And now that we’re here, guys I have to tell you something. This school has a
strange history. Once you enter there’s no turning back. It is a do or die!

Yvvoh: Here she goes again with the story she always made. Story Teller.

Ralph: Yeah a freakin story teller.

Ainah: Hey! I am not making a story here! It is true!

Jaimrey: How did you know about its creepy history? (Ainah pointed Jacques)

Ainah: She told me about it. And have you remembered? She was the one who
suggested about this school, right? Right freak?

Maddison: Hey Freak! You were ask by Ainah, didn’t you listen? (Scolding Jacques)

Else: Well, that’s because she is freak so she can’t think well. This classmate of ours is
crazy. (All laughing seems bullying Jackques) But really, how did you know about this
school Jack?

Ainah: Well, because she told me about her studying here about four years ago. She
even told me about the killings and murders that she had witnessed but before I’ll
share everything to you, let’s take a rest for a while okay?

Ralph: Fine with me Ain. I can be relax just to look at your sweet face Ain.

Maddison: Eww too corny. Anyways let’s go guys? (Started to go inside but Jackques
stops them.)

Jackques: Wait. ( They stopped) Are you really sure that you want to enter here? It’s
now or never. It’s life and death. It’s do or die.

Jaimrey: Hey! She just tottaly proved us that she is a real crazy freak. ( They laugh and
got inside and never mind her)

Scene 3: Entered and Excited

Ivan: Guys, we are to look for Mrs. Henosis first. Oh there she is! I think she is Mrs.
Henosis. Let’s go guys, come with me. (all going to Mrs. Henosis office except Jaimrey
and Drake) Good afternoon maam, I am Ivan Ford and I was the one who called you
last week about us visiting here----

Mrs. Henosis: I don’t see any problem but are you really sure about this? I just want to
remind you that you should never do anything that might harm you. Don’t disturb
things that doesn’t want to be disturbed. Enjoy your visit. Just go along with the
pathway and there is woman waiting for you, she will be the one guiding you in the
room you are allowed to stay and sleep. Be careful.

Ivan: Thank you Mrs. Henosis. (Out)

Maddison: hays. Just entering this school bores me more. It is too quiet and I can’t
afford to live with a place like this.

Else: What do you expect Maddie? It is naturally quiet because it is summer, no classes
and there are no students roaming around. (They are just talking when they saw
Jaimrey and Drake, all shock.)

Maddison: Look Else! Your boyfriend and Jaimrey is having a quiet sweet moment. How
sweet.

Else: Hey! You silly woman! How dare you! I hate you!

Drake: Else, let me explain.

Else: Explain? No need! I am fine with this! I am doing just fine without you so be with
Jaimrey starting today, okay? I am just easy to talk with this is not a big deal for me. I
am also cheating behind you drake so we are even. Let’s go?

Drake: Else please----

Jaimrey: Drake! Didn’t you hear? You guys are even so our relation can be in public
now. Let’s go guys.

Ainah: Uh. Oh. This is not a start good.

Scene 4: HE Building

Mrs. Alleje: So this will be the room you will staying. And if you need anything just
reach us in the office, alright?

All: Thank you Mrs. Alleje. (All are busy looking around)

Mrs. Alleje: I gotta go. I have a lot of work needed to be done. (before closing the
door) Just beware. Be careful especially you, iho. (pointing Yvvoh and closed the door)

Yvvoh: What’s the old woman is talking about? (Laugh)

Ivan: Guys, we need to proceed right now in the library since we were done packing
our things. Remember that we are just staying five days here, so we better get going
now.

Ainah: Alright! Let’s go? (Okay all chattered) ( looking at yvvoh) Hey! You won’t be
joining us?
Yvvoh: I will just follow you guys, I need to take a rest, you know my heart is not that
strong. Oh Else should stay as well, her heart was just been damaged awhile ago.

Else: Shut up Yvvoh! I will kill you for reminding me that thing. I hate you.

Ainah: Guys! Stop it! We better get going. (going to library)

Scene 5: Library

Ivan: (Everyone is chattering) Ssssshhhh. Guys be quiet. Let’s start our task okay?
(going inside)

Else: Wait, I will just go to powder room.

Maddison: I thought there is student here, it is summer right? But what is the girl doing
there? (Pointed at Yphil)

Ainah: Hey freak! (Jackques) Do you know who is that girl? (jackques looking at the
girl)

Jackques: Her name is Yphil, she is our school president 4 years ago but I don’t know
why is she doing here still. Maybe she is just visiting.

Ivan: Guys! Look at the school’s culture and tradition. This school was founded by
Catholic groups. Every 29 of September is the feast day. They also celebrate masses
together with the students. Students are highly trained well with good manners and
right conduct so I didn’t see any connection about it towards the reported killings and
death which was been said by Jackques.

Maddison: Plus the fact that at the very beginning, this school separated the boys and
girls. It is expected from a catholic school so this not new to us.

Ralph: Wait have you seen Drake and jaimrey? Or Did Yvvoh already followed us here?

Ainah: Where are they? This is a group task. They should be here as well. (someone
shouted)

Ivan: The voice coming there! (They hurriedly go to the next shelves) Else! What
happened. (All run towards the direction) ( Ivan carried Else to the HE) There is a lot of
blood on your head.

Else: Be--- be careful with yyyyy.

Scene 6: HE Again

Ivan: Else, don’t sleep. Wake up. (ralph opening the door.) (All are shock again, Yvvoh
is lying in the floor, breathless and dead.)

Ralph: He is not breathing neither. He is lifeless. (all shock)

Mrs. Henosis: What’s the commotion all about?

Ainah: Mrs. Henosis, two of our friends our life less. One found at the library and this
one was found lying here.

Mrs. Henosis: Bring them with you! I will call an ambulance. (Running together with
them)

Scene 7: Room of HE building

Ralph: Guys, Else was dead on arrival. While yvvoh was already dead when I spotted
him there. Their parents were already at the hospital and they had told me that they
are bringing their dead body at their respective house.

Ivan: Maybe we’ll just have to sleep here tonight and come home tomorrow. At least
we already hadve a little info about the history of this school.

Maddison: Everything happened so fast guys. Two dead with just one day.

Drake: Stop crying Jaimrey. It’s not your fault.

Jaimrey: I am just too sad, Else died and we happen not to be in good terms. It is my
fault that we acted like lovers. Guys the truth is, Drake had just requested me to
pretend because he wanna gets Else jealous. Everything is just an act. Drake just wants
to surprise her tomorrow.

Drake: It is my entire fault.

Ainah: Guys, it won’t do good. They are dead. Regrets won’t make them come to life
anyway. All we need to do is find the killer.

Ralph: Killer? Maybe Else was killed by someone but I doubt it to Yvvoh’s death. The
doctor find out that he has heart attacked. That explains his death.
Maddison: No, he won’t have heart attacked if he didn’t see something creepy or
something he shouldn’t have seen. So someone had to be the reason of this heart
attacked.

Ainah: But who? Based on the time of death. Yvvoh was long dead before we arrived.
Yvvoh and then Else, maybe there is next among us.

Ivan: Hey! Don’t say some creepy things Ain.

Maddison: So who is not with us when the screaming incident happened?

Ralph: Drake and Jaimrey were not there but I doubt them.

Drake: Jaimrey is with me the whole time since we are planning to surprise Else
tomorrow.

Ainah: Uh oh. We are on a dead end. No clues and no hints. Or maybe there’s no killer.
Maybe it is only a plain accident.

Jackques: No, there is paper I’ve seen in Else hands and also on the place where Yvvoh
was lying. It says like this.. (give the paper)

Jaimrey: (reading) I am the killer, find the clues between the lives of your dead friends.
But still wait, another clue is about to be revealed yet. (Doubting) This is non sense!

Ralph: maybe it is not true. The real truth is that, it is Drake fault. If you just have not
pretended with Jaimrey, Else won’t be dead.

Ainah: Ralph!

Drake: Why are you so affected with Else’ death? You should be more affected with
Yvvoh’s death Raplh since he is your buddy.

Raplh: Why? Was it wrong to be concerned with Else’s death?

Ainah: Hey guys!

Jaimrey: Ralph is inlove with Else. Do you know who is that guy Else cheated with
behind you Drake? Look I am not telling this but seems I must now, Ralph and Else is
in a relationship.

Drake:Bro! Is that true? (start of fight)

Ainah: Stop it! Guys! Please don’t hurt Ralph! Don’t! (begging)
Maddison: What A perfect crime for a love story. Ainah loves Ralph, and Ralph loves
Else while she is with Drake who is acting sweet with Jaimrey.

Ivan: Maddie!

Maddison: Ralph, let’s go out for a while, you need to breathe and relax a little bit.
Ivan, just calm Drake and Jaimrey. (exit in the door they meet Mrs. Alleje)

Mrs. Alleje: What’s the noise all about?

Maddison: Nothing Mrs. Alleje, we are just having fun. Sorry for the disturbance.

Mrs. Alleje: You two, where are you going?

Maddison: We just want to take a walk in the campus, was it just okay with you Mrs.
Alleje?

Mrs. Alleje: I don’t have problem with that but please be careful. Especially with tye two
of you. Be ware.

Scene 9: Campus

Ainah: Guys, Maddison and Ralph is not yet here it is already 12 in the evening! (notice
something) And where’s Drake and Jaimrey? Come on let’s find them. (going outside)

Jackques: Drake and Jaimrey is just sitting their.

Ivan: Oh they are just sitting there. But we still need to find Ralph and Madisson.

Ainah: Guys, where have you gone? (near at Drake and jaimrey)

Drake: We just talk and calm things down here for hours now.

Ivan: Have you seen Ralph and Maddison? (They shrugged)

Ainah: Let’s find them! Let’s divide our group. I am going to that direction.

Scene 10: Divided

(drake with Jaimrey looking, Jackques and Ivan looking, and Ainah looking in different
direction) (Ainah Shouted they all heard it go to the direction of the voice)

Ainah: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ivan: (Running) What’s the matter? How about this blood.

Ainah: Someone in the shadow killed them. They are dead and I am the next one but I
fight. I did escape. They are inside the room.

Jackques: Have you seen his face? Or something?

Ainah: No! He is mysterious! Please help them, Maddie and Ralph but seems they are
really dead. (lost her conscious)

Scene 11: HE ROOM

Ainah: (open her eyes) where am I? ---How’s maddie? –What about Ralph?

Jaimrey: They are dead Ain. (crying) today, we’ll gonna be going home. We are leaving
this school already. Everything happened so fast. Wait I’ll get your medicine, Mrs.
Henosis brought some and said let’s informed her when you are already awake. (going)

Ivan: Wait, I’ll go with you. (going to Mrs. Henosis)

Jaimrey: Mrs. Henosis? Ainah is already awake, we just come here to inform you and to
get the medicine as well. (Mrs. Henosis busy scanning the paper while they look at it as
well)

Mrs. Henosis: Sounds good (while not looking at them) Here take this medicine.

Jaimrey: Wait, it is Ainah’s picture.

Mrs. Henosis: Ainah was a student here 4 years ago. Jackques and Ainah are
classmates here.

Jaimrey: Wait, Ainah never told us about it, only Jackques does. (curious look at Ivan)

Mrs. Henosis: You better just ask her.

Jaimrey: Thank you Mrs. Henosis. Thank you. (Exit in door)

Mrs. Henosis: Wait. (They stopped) Ivan be ware. Jaimrey, be careful.

Scene 12: hall way

Jaimrey: What is Mrs. Henosis talking about? (laugh)

Ivan: maybe she is just worry about us. Wait, I have to go in the bathroom. You may
go first to them Jaimrey.

Jaimrey: Okay. Wait. (Ivan stopped) Be ware.

Scene 13: HE

Jaimrey: Ainah. Here is your medicine, drink it. (give the medicine, drink it, until
Jaimrey spoke out) Why didn’t you tell us that you studied here together with Jackques
4 years ago? (shocked)

Ainah: How did you know? Hey freak! Have you told them about me being bestfriend
with you 4 years ago? I don’t want to remember it! I already forget it but you made me
remind me of it jaimrey!

Jaimrey: Look! I just ask you about it. I have learn it from Mrs. Henosis. But why did
you need to keep that secret?

Ainah: Because I want to forget about it!

Jaimrey: But why did you come back here Ain?

Ainah: Because I just want to!

Jaimrey: Did you kill them? Did you kill our friends? Why?!

Drake: Jaimrey!

Jaimrey: You just acted that someone hurt you but you just hurt yourself!

Jackques: A--- are you the one who always gives us the clue?

Ainah: No please. It is not me! I can’t afford to kill them! Please believe me!

Drake: Stop it Jaimrey! The person is not still feeling well, she has still a deep wound.

Jackques: A- another clues were given in Maddison and Ralph death. On a piece of
paper , their names were written on it.

Drake: So we now have four names as a clue.

Ainah: Wait, I need to go in the comfort room.

Jaimrey: (sighs) I’ll go with you Ainah. It is not safe being alone their since you have
still a deep wound. And I’m sorry about a while ago. I’m sorry.

Ainah: it’s fine Jaim. It’s fine.

Scene 14: Outside Comfort room

(While walking in the hall way, Jaimrey’s phone suddenly ring)

Jaimrey: Ain, you may now go first. I have to answer this call, mom is calling. (Ainah
noded)(While answering the phone someone screamed. The phone fell and Jaimrey run
towards the shout)

Jaimrey: Ain! You’re bleeding!

Ainah: Ivan’s dead! He is dead!

Jaimrey: Gosh! Ain please don’t move, I have to call Mrs. Henosis about this! Just don’t
run, your wound is still fresh, just wait here. (running) Mrs. Henosis! Help! Help! (Drake
and Jackques came running with Mrs. henosis)

Drake: Jaim, what happened?

Jaimrey: Ivan’s dead and Ainah’s bleeding! Over there! (crying)

Scene 15: Ambulance arrived.

(After the sound effect the three of them are sitting in the bench)

Jackques: (sighs) We do have 6 names already as the clue. They all are dead now.
Who’s next?

Jaimrey: Guys, let’s pack our things now before it will be too late!

Drake: No, we should still look for the killer! We should stay here!

Jaimrey: Why for us to be dead as well?

Jackques: Maybe you two have the point. It is either to do the escape while we still can
run away from here or choose to die just to look for the Killer. It is a do or die. It is life
and death. It is now or never.
Drake: I’ll better die looking for justice.

Jaimrey: We better don’t look for it. I’ll gonna be packing my things already!

Jackques: Jaim, wait! I’ll go with you. (they never mind Drake)

Scene 16: HE

Jaimrey: Are all things set? Does Drake things were already packed? You just wait here,
I look for him. It is not good to be selfish. I will make sure the three of us will make
sure that we can leave safe. Just wait here okay? (Jackques nodded)

(While Alone)

Jackques: I have already all the clue but it doesn’t make sense! (Lay all the papers with
their name) (read the last clue)

Clue: Life has ups and downs. I was just beside you all this time. Read me. Read my
name upwards. (Jackques and Jaimrey recited it together)

Jackques: (look at the direction of the door) Jaimrey! You ! You are the killer! Whe---
Where’s Drake? (scared)

Jaimrey: Well, take a look with this. Take a look with my hands. There is a blood
around of it. Well, I killed him. I killed all of them!

Jackques: Why? Why?!

Jaimrey: Because all of you don’t just mind me! Remember? I always tried hard to get
all your attention! But no one likes me! I feel it! You never had treated me like a friend!
I am sick being the wallflower all this time. Too sad, you’re too slow with the clues I
had given you. You never mind me guys! You never mind the clue. Everyone doesn’t
like me! Else, Maddison, Ainah? They don’t like me that much. Drake just uses me as a
rebound. Ralph can’t even afford to like me! Ivan is as suspicious with the way I act.
And Yvvoh? He confronted me about me being so mean with Else so what can I do? My
mother had taught me killing the persons who don’t like me and that’s too simple. They
never mind me so I won’t mind killing them. Killing you!

(they had fight until Jackques did run, going to Mrs. Henosis office)

Jackques: (catching her breathe) Mrs. Henosis! Help me! Help. (Jaimrey approaching)

Mrs. Henosis: What happened?? What?

Jackques: I already know the killer! I know who killed them all it’s Jaimrey!

(Jaimrey Arrived and kill Jackques at the back)

Jaimrey: Mom, thank you for teaching me eliminating them in my life.

Mrs. Henosis: Good Job jaimrey, my daughter.
