Environment

1.Are there any environmental problems in your country?

2. What do you think about the environmental problem in Vietnam?
-Vietnam now is a developing country and has
been industrializing and modernizing.
-the number of manufacturers has increased dramatically.
- with serious issues such as air or water pollution
- People living in an industrial area are affected by these issues.
-In the modern world, pollution of the air and water is a major problem. –
- The intensity/ ɪnˈtensəti/ / mức độ/of the air pollution issue is worsened by the
rise in vehicle exhaust emissions /ɪˈmɪʃn/, which harms the quality of the air.
3. Do you or your family take steps to help the environment?
4.Do you take an interest in nature?
5.What do you think we should do to protect the environment?
Protect by individual / Everyone
- Well, I have done a lot of things. I like to be close to the natural environment.
-I don’t litter indiscriminately /ˌɪndɪˈskrɪmɪnətli/.
-Additionally, I always purchase /ˈpɜːtʃəs/ environmentally friendly products /as
much as possible/. Càng nhiều càng tốt.
-I try to use public transport instead of private vehicles so that I can contribute to
reducing/ protecting air pollution…
- I recycle waste ( organic waste and inorganic waste) 1zor plant a tree in my
garden
- My family is very conscious of the problem.
Proctect by government:
- adopt laws to regulate emissions: thông qua luật để điều tiết lượng khí thải
- install pollution control devices : lắp đặt thiết bị kiểm soát ô nhiễm
-develop renewable energy:like solar energy, water, wind ; phát triển nguồn năng
lượng có thể tái tạo
-raise awareness of environmental issues: mobilize /ˈməʊbəlaɪz/ and encourage
people to participate in environmental protection nâng cao nhận thức về những vấn
đề môi trường. :
- propagate /ˈprɒpəɡeɪt/ for everyone about the green movement: planting a tree,
joining a carpool, turning off lights, using handmade items.
6. What cause enviromental pollution ?
-From my point of view, there are a lot of things which lead to environmental
issues. However, the biggest cause of this problem is human activities.
- People destroy forests and contaminate /kənˈtæmɪneɪt/ groundwater/ the soil/
food/ crops which effects on the ecosystem and wildlife habitats. –
-Additionally, the growth in carbon dioxide caused by industrial activity
contributes to global warming and increases greenhouse gas emissions.
7. what do you think is the main danger the world faces in terms of the
environment?
-Well I suppose air pollution is the main danger the world faces in terms of/ về
mặt/ the environment. One of the biggest environmental problems today.
the World Health Organization (WHO) shows that an estimated 4.2 to 7 million
people die from air pollution worldwide every year by poor air quality due to dust
storms.
Additionally, the growth in carbon dioxide caused by industrial activity contributes
to global warming and increases greenhouse gas emissions. The intensity/ ɪn
ˈtensəti/ / mức độ/of the air pollution issue is worsened by the rise in
vehicle exhaust emissions /ɪˈmɪʃn/, which harms the quality of the air.
8.What example are there of how we damage the natural world?
people nowadays usually use disposable dɪˈspəʊzəbl/ items instead of recycled
ones. They are dumping waste indiscriminately which occurs in many places.
For example, A report by the science journal, Nature, roughly 14 million tons of
plastic are discharged into the oceans every year, harming wildlife habitats and
animals
- Besides that, People destroy forests and contaminate /kənˈtæmɪneɪt/ groundwater/
the soil/ food/ crops which effects on the ecosystem and wildlife habitats.
9. What role does natural beauty in nature play?
The natural world is an incredible wonder inspired for all of us.
It provides us with landscape, food, and air we breathe, water for plants. It helps
us recharge our batteries and enjoy life.
10. Why is the degradation of the environment dangerous?
The degradation /ˌdeɡrəˈdeɪʃn/ of dangerous environments can affect human
health through complex pathways.
Food production is reduced, and dry water sources and pressure populations are
migrated /maɪˈɡreɪt/. extreme weather conditions it causing climate change and
natural disasters for humans and animals.
11. What is Ecotourism: is a type of tourism that has little impact on nature,.
This is a responsible style of travel that protects nature, the environment and
improves the well-being of local people. Its purpose is to educate tourism, which
directly benefits the economy
12. Environmental concerns should always take priority over economic concerns?
Environmental concerns must be combined with economic because they impact
each other.
For example, when the environment is clean, pollution will be overcome without
spending too much money on waste treatment. Besides, it also ensures human
health and material.
13. What are the possible risks associated with excessive tree logging?
The loss of trees and other vegetation can cause temperature changes, increasing
the amount of greenhouse gases in the air. desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops,
and Illegal logging lead to deforestation, loss of biodiversity
14. How global warming can be prevented or slowed?
- global warming can be reduced through developing renewable energy to limit
carbon emissions
-use environmentally friendly products eg: solar powered cars, encourage green
movements eg; tree planting programs,
-raise awareness of people participating in environmental protection
15. The most effective way to address global warming is enlightening people on
this issue.
From my point of view, I agree with this opinion because when people know its
harmful effects, they will increase their awareness of environmental protection
because it is related to health and material. If they do not protect the environment,
it will directly affect their lives.
16. What measures can governments take to protect their citizens from natural
disasters?
- Increase construction standards for natural disaster prevention.
-ensuring high standards of building and building codes.
- Educate people on how to face natural disasters.
- Delivering relief supplies and vital first aid to victims such as medical care,
emergency services
17. can natural disasters promote long run economic growth ?
I have to say yes. For example, in Japan, where many natural disasters such as
tsunamis, earthquakes, and floods occur, their economy is still very developed
because of efforts to resolve the consequences of natural disasters. At the same
time, people participate in environmental protection so the economy is more and
more developing.
18. Do you think humanitarian aid can induce international cooperation amongst
enemy countries?
No, because developing countries can help poor countries reduce poverty. But this
is not cooperation. Foreign aid may have the opposite effect because it will kill
local industries and receiving countries trapped in aid dependence.
19. Why do natural disasters cause such serious problems in some countries where
those problems tend to be relatively minor in developed countries?
Developing countries are more likely to be naturally more natural disasters because
people live in poorly built housing areas and can be easily damaged in the event of
a disaster, not equipped with early system. The warning system, and when it
happens, is very serious.
20. Safety standards are important when building people’s homes, who should be
responsible for enforcing strict building codes- the government or the people who
build the homes
Both
Before building any house, people must use tools, materials and labor to ensure
safety and certainty to fight natural disasters.
The government should take responsibility for increasing construction standards
for natural disaster prevention.
-ensuring high standards of building and building codes.
