Car Rental Agreement
This Car Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into on / / by and between:
Jonathan Reid, hereinafter referred to as the "Rental Company,"

Whereas, the Rental Company agrees to rent to the Renter, and the Renter agrees to rent from the
Rental Company, the following described vehicle:

1. Rental Fee and Payment Terms: a. The Renter agrees to pay the Rental Company a total
rental fee of $ for the use of the Vehicle for the agreed rental period. b. Payment
shall be made in advance upon the commencement of the rental period. c. A security
deposit of $ shall also be paid by the Renter upon commencement of the rental
period. The security deposit will be refunded to the Renter upon return of the Vehicle in
the same condition as received, less any charges for damages or excessive mileage.
2. Use of Vehicle: a. The Renter agrees to use the Vehicle only for lawful purposes and in
accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. b. The Renter shall not sublease or
allow any other person to use the Vehicle without prior written consent from the Rental
Company. c. The Vehicle shall not be used for any illegal activities, racing, towing, or
off-road driving.
3. Condition of Vehicle: a. The Renter acknowledges receiving the Vehicle in good
condition, with all necessary documents, accessories, and equipment. b. The Renter
agrees to return the Vehicle in the same condition, reasonable wear and tear excepted.
4. Insurance: a. The Rental Company shall maintain insurance covering the Vehicle against
loss or damage. b. The Renter is responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own
insurance coverage for personal injury, liability, and damage to third parties.
5. Maintenance and Repairs: a. The Rental Company shall be responsible for all routine
maintenance and repairs to the Vehicle during the rental period. b. The Renter agrees to
notify the Rental Company immediately in case of any mechanical failure or damage to
the Vehicle.
6. Return of Vehicle: a. The Renter agrees to return the Vehicle to the Rental Company at
the agreed-upon date, time, and location. b. Any extension of the rental period must be
approved by the Rental Company in advance.
7. Termination: a. This Agreement shall terminate upon the return of the Vehicle by the
Renter and the full payment of all rental fees and charges. b. The Rental Company
reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and repossess the Vehicle in case of breach
of any terms or conditions herein.
8. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of Jamaica.
