Admission procedure:
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates with minimum 50% in graduation in any discipline (45% for Reserve Categories)
from a recognized university with a valid score in national level entrance tests ICET are
eligible to apply.
Admission Process
1. Candidates can apply online or download application form from the website and send the
same duly filled with an amount of Rs. 500/- by cash or DD in the name of VIVEKANANDA
Educational Society.

b) 10+2+3, PG marks are taken for 20%
Fees: Tuition fee Rs. 30,000/- per academic year
Loans and Scholarships
VES will assist those students who wish to avail education loan. In the addition, the institution will
also provide some merit-cum-means scholarships in form of partial fee waiver. These will be based
on 1st year’s performance.
Focus of the Programme.
1. Market Orientation: Agriculture and food industries are currently undergoing significant
changes. Professionals in these sectors and farmers have to work in a more market orientated
environment in order to fulfil consumer expectations and increasing environmental concerns.
2. Business & Management Skills: The programme will equip students with skills, knowledge and
attitudes required for a successful manager in the field of agribusiness in the emerging global context.
3. Blend of Basic and Integrated Courses: The programme includes basic courses that help
students understand the agriculture and agribusiness sector, core courses that develop required
analytical and communication skills in the students, courses in functional areas of management, and
integrated courses that help students develop strategic perspective.
4. Rural Exposure: Will provide first hand insights about field level rural realities.
5. Summer Project: Will provide exposure to real-life situations through partnership with industry.
6. Entrepreneurial Skills: Unique feature of this programme is to equip entrepreneurial skills to
those who want to be job creators rather than job seekers, by setting up agribusiness enterprises, both in
India and in other countries.
Infrastructure Details: 3.2-acre campus
The campus of Vivekananda educational Society is located at a Shadnagar town, 45
kilometers from the city of Hyderabad, Telangana. The campus is named after the beautify ‘
trees that grown in this area. The campus is 29 kms from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
and 50kms from Secundrabad railway station.
Infrastructure
The infrastructure has been designed keeping in mind the requirement of individual
institution under VES. Every institution has a dedicated academic block which comprises of
lecture halls, computer labs, language lab etc. The structures have been designed with
‘sustainability’ and ‘creativity’ as the primary themes.
Library
VES has an excellent and uniquely designed central library. It is well stocked with books
and journals both in physical and digital versions. It also boasts of a e learning cell where
students have access to IT systems for enhanced digital learning.
Class Rooms
Specially designed in semi-circular theater format that ensures participative learning, all the
classrooms are equipped with latest communication equipment.
Business Communication Lab
FABS has a state-of-the-art Computer & Communications Lab. The students will be working in a Wi-Fi
enabled networked environment.
Canteen
Most of the innovative learning takes place while having a sip of coffee in a group. To cater to this need, a
sprawling canteen with modern kitchen is available with Wi-Fi connectivity. This will be the best part of the
campus and the buzzing centre of activity in the campus.
Industry Visits
FABS lays emphasis on experiential learning. Students are taken to industries for real life
exposure to business operations which would enable them to get practical experience to
live operations. Such visit would help the students apply classroom concepts to real
scenarios.
Seminar
Knowledge is free flowing and is owned by no one. Keeping this quote in mind, FABS
conducts regular seminars, workshops and guest faculty lectures to facilitate a free flow of
ideas and knowledge. It is highly important that the students and faculty get to interact with
experts in various fields in the agriculture sector. Seminars and guest lectures also act as a
platform for companies to interact with students for future recruitment drives.
Sports
VES believes in an overall development of students. Keeping this in mind, VES campus
offers state of the art sport facilities such as cricket pitch, football ground, volley ball pitch
and other indoor games. FABS encourages students to participate in inter college sports
tournaments. FABS has secured the top positions in a number of such tournaments.
Transportation
Transport will be provided to the students for their weekly visits to the city for shopping and entertainment
activities.
