General notes on AHU technology

The mechanical and thermal characteristics of the AHU-casing according to DIN EN 1886 are type-examination tested by T ÜV Süd. The
following classes for an AHU model box have been evaluated and confirmed:

· Thermal transmittance: T2
· Thermal bridging: TB1
· Air tightness: L1 (M), L2 (R)
· Filter Bypass leakage: F9
· Casing strength: D1 (M), D2 (R)

Despite of the thermal insulation and decoupling mentioned above, a completely non-condensing operation cannot be guaranteed. Any
tendency to condensation and the amount of condensate which might occur depends on actual operation conditions.

All wiring of Air Handling Units (e.g. lighting) which have been delivered in sections or partly knocked down has to be performed by others
and is not scope of supply and service of robatherm.

General notes on controls and cooling technology

Scope of delivery and services


Components, devices, services that are not explicitly listed in our technical data sheet are not included in our scope of delivery and services,
but must be provided by the customer professionally.

Only electrical components that have been tested for electromagnetic compatibility are used. Furthermore, these are installed on the AHU in
accordance with the recognized technical rules for EMC.

Unless otherwise specified, electric wiring and/or hydraulic or cooling tubing will be installed on the roof of robatherm indoor Air Handling
Units. The necessary working space shall be kept entirely clear, special attention shall be taken on sufficient distance to beams, ductwork
etc.

Testing according to DIN EN 60204-1 (VDE 0113-1) is not included in our scope of supply. If desired, we will prepare a corresponding offer
for components that are included in our scope of delivery. Independently of this, the electrical test according to DIN VDE 0100-600 must be
carried out by the customer for the entire system after completion.

Depending on the refrigerant category according to ISO 817, only l imited filling quantities are permitted, especially for flammable and toxic
refrigerants. In Europe, the maximum filling quantities must be in accordance with DIN EN 378 -1 and are determined on the basis of the
access area, the installation site and respective refrigerant cate gory. Internationally, calculation is made according to ISO 5149.

For refrigerants with safety class A2L, the relevant standard IEC 60335-2-40 must also be taken into account. For split air conditioners with
refrigerant R32, the instructions and the planning notes have to be observed.

In the case of direct expansion coil with external refrigeration s ystem, the system installer is responsible for compliance with the maximum
permitted filling quantity.
