She fears being dirty but does dirty deeds anyway

Not because she loves it but she's too deep to climb out

In her self she buries her lies , her pain and her regret

She baths in her own tears because she claims they wash away her pain

Regret creeps in everytime after she bathes, her pain multiplying and her tears staining her

She's not alone, her demons keep her company

They feed off her sadness and feast on her guilt

She let's them burn her and bruise her heart

Not because they harvest the life out of her, until the pain numbs her mind and soul

She hides away her broken pieces in hopes that she will put them back together on her own

People offer to Help her out she refuses claiming the pit is her safe haven su

Claiming the pain is worth the numbing

She covers her tear stained face with a mask

The regret with hollow smiles

The pain with numbness

She fears being clean cause the dirt has become a part of her she thinks it brings her comfort

She's now nothing without the pain , nothing without her broken pieces

She wants to love the demons for staying with her through darkness

She ran away from the light, she was scared of opening her eyes to look at the sun

She now turns to her loneliness

Its bitter but at least she does'nt remember

But 1 sip does'nt't do the loneliness

So she takes another and another until she's lost count

She chugs her sorrows down her throat

It burns but it hurts less than reality.

She cuts , the blade cold on her skin, cold like her pit of demise

She stares as the metal slices her flesh splitting it open

It gives her a valid reason to cry...

She bathes once more but in her emptiness this time , it numbs her pain

The pit is now darker , deeper and emptier .

She can't take it so she cuts deeper and further , hoping to end her suffering .

She is found

Her eyes flick open

White coats like angels hover over her and she knows she has been saved

They bath her , she smiles as her pain slowly vanishes

the regret breaking leaving her soul

And the demons burning as they are touched by the light

And then she remembers

The light always shines brighter than darkness

Her raw skin sees light ice again

Is this the sweet kiss of grace?

Is this what forgivess feels like?
