sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan memberikan ucapan
selamat dan memuji bersayap (extended) dan
menanggapinya dengan memperhatikan
fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan yang
benar dan sesuai konteks.
4.1.1 Memproduksi kalimat yang menggunakan ungkapan
kalimat ucapan selamat dan memuji bersayap baik
secara individu maupun berpasangan.
4.1.2 Mempresentasikan percakapan yang telah dibuat
secara berpasangan maupun kelompok.
4.1.3 Menyajikan ungkapan selamat dan memuji baik
secara berpasangan maupun keompok.
DESKRIPSI
Modul ini membahas tentang Congratulating and
Complimenting Others dan tanggapannya. Ungkapan ini
sering kita lakukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
sehingga kebiasaan ini telah menjadi kekhasan yang
terjadi diantara masyarakat.
PETUNJUK PENGGUNAAN MODUL
Beberapa hal yang patut diperhatikan ketika
menggunakan modul ini adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Bacalah dengan benar apa yang tercantum dalam
modul ini dan setiap langkah-langkah
pengerjaannya.
2. Pahami dengan benar jika tidak anda
dipersilahkan untuk berdiskusi atau bertanya
kepada guru.
3. Cobalah setiaap latihan soal yang diberikan.
4. Lakukan Penilaian diri, sehingga anda bisa
mengukur sudah sejauh mana capaian
kompetensi.
5. Kerjakan evaluasi untuk mengukur
ketercapaian kompetensi pada unit ini.

1. TUJUAN
Anda dapat memahami dengan baik bagaimana
mengucapkan selamat dan memberikan pujian serta
memberikan tanggapan yang sesuai pada ungkapan
yang diberikan.

1. Menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan
unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi interpersonal
lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan
memberikan dan merespon ucapan selamat.
2. Menyusun teks interaksi interpersonal lisan
dan tulis sederhana yang melibatkan tindakan
memberikan ucapan selamat dan memuji.
3. Menyajikan ungkapan secara berpasangan
maupun kelompok.
" Setitik embun dapat melembabkan daun daunan, sederas hujan
dapat membahasi daun beserta dahannnya sungguh ilmu yang
kamu dapat pada kami bagaikan hujan deras yang tak pernah
berhenti membahasi kami. kami tumbuh dan berkembang dan
selanjutnya memekari seluruh sekitar kami dan akhirnya membuat
mahluk ciptaan Tuhan menjadi bahagia dengan keberadaan kami.

MATERI
Congratulating Expressions
Congratulations are words expressing praise for an
achievement or good wishes on a special occasion.
Saying congratulations is one of the best ways to late a
person know that you proud of him
The function of the expression :
To develop interaction and communication with
others. To express our happiness or positive
feelings about their success, and also to
maintain good relationship among friends,
classmate, fellow workers, collages, etc.
To respond someone’s achievement or success.
Structure of congratulations.
When we give congratulations, we may say more than
one word or one sentence.
Look at the following example

3. RANGKUMAN
In congratulating, people may make more than one
move, for example, "conratulations! you deserved it,
Man" Similiarly, in responding to congratulating
expressions, people do not only make one move, like "
thank you very much", they also say something else
such as " this is because you're always with me".
Compliment is an expression to appreciate or praise
other people. Compliment is useful to give
encouragement so that people will keep on doing their
best and even improve their performance.
