Where can I register for the TCS MBA Hiring YoP 2024?
A. Click hereOpens in new tab to register and complete application form. Please ensure to
"Apply for Drive" once the application form is completed.
Q. I am not able to find the ‘Apply for Drive’ option. What should I do?
A. Once you fill the application form, logout and login again.
Then click on ‘Apply for Drive.’
If you are not getting the ‘Apply for Drive’ option, please re-check the below steps:
a) Confirm whether you have completed or submitted your application form.
b) Check if you have erroneously registered under ‘BPS’ instead of ‘IT.’ If yes, then write to
tcsbps.support@tcs.comOpens in new tab for the deletion of your profile under BPS. Once
your profile has been deleted, please create a new profile under IT.
c) Recheck the qualification you have entered on application form.
d) Check the YoP you have entered in application form.
Q. Can I still register in TCS Next Step Portal even if I don’t have any Aadhar Card?
A. Aadhar Card is mandatory for registration and creating CT/DT Reference ID in the TCS Next
Step Portal.
Please Note: The First Name, Last Name, and the Date of Birth updated in the application
form should be as per details mentioned in the Aadhar Card.
Q. What will be the TCS MBA Hiring YoP 2024 test pattern?
A. The TCS MBA test is of 90 minutes duration that will focus on Verbal Aptitude, Quantitative
Aptitude, and Business Aptitude.
Q. What would be the Eligibility Criteria for TCS MBA Hiring YoP 2024?
A. Refer to the ‘Eligibility Section’ given above.
Q. Which all Specializations are eligible?
A. 2 years full-time post graduate management degree with YoP as 2024 with below
specializations are eligible:
Marketing / Finance / Operations / Supply Chain Management / Information Technology /
General Management / Business Analytics / Project Management

A. Shortlisted candidates will be communicated about their interview schedules (based on
the test performance) via their registered e-mail ids.
Q. When is the Test Date?
A. 22nd January, 2024 (Monday)
Q. If I already have a CT or a DT number, do I need to register again?
A. If you already have a CT or DT reference number, please login to https://nextstep.tcs.com
and proceed to submit the application form and subsequently "Apply for Drive".
Q. I have forgotten my CT / DT Reference ID, where do I get it ?
A. You would have got a mail to your registered email ID upon successful registration on
https://nextstep.tcs.com. The Reference ID would be mentioned in the same.
Q. My college has CGPA grading system. However, in my application form, there is only an
option to update my marks. What should I do?
A. Please convert CGPA into marks as per the guidelines prescribed by your university /
applicable in your state and complete the application form.
Q. Can I change my photo in the application form?
A. Yes, you can change your photograph before you submit application form.Read the
instructions carefully while uploading the photograph.
Q. I already have my CT / DT number. I need to update my marks / CGPA in my application
form. How can I do so?
A. You can edit the details by clicking 'Edit Application Form' upon logging in to your NextStep
account and update the required details.
Q. I already have my CT / DT number. Can I make changes to my Name / Date of Birth / Title
/ Address / Email ID / Telephone Number?
A. You cannot make changes in the above fields after completing your profile.
Q. I am not able to download my Application Form from the NextStep Portal.
A. Please upload your photo and CV once again as per the prescribed format and then preview
your application form. This would also allow you to download your Application Form.
Q. I am getting an error while updating my 10th or 12th Standard details in the application
form. What should I do?
A. You need to enter a minimum of 9 months in your 10th and 12th standard course duration
details. Please check if the course duration mentioned in less than 9 months.
Q. I am not able to participate in the test as mentioned in the schedule. Can I change the
timing of the test?
A. The test time and date cannot be changed.
Q. Is this a full-time or part-time job?
A. The career opportunities presented are full-time jobs.
Q. Do I have to incur any cost to appear for the TCS MBA Hiring?
A. TCS does not charge any money or deposit for the recruitment process.
Q. I am not able to edit the Full Time / Part time course in my Application Form. What should
I do?
A. If you are unable to edit the full-time/part-time course in application form, write to
ilp.support@tcs.com for deletion of your profile, post which you can create a new profile with
the same email ID.
Q. My account is locked. How can I unlock it?
A. Please note that after 3 unsuccessful OTP attempts, your account will be locked for 4 hours.
You will get 2 more OTP attempts after 4 hours, however, if wrong OTP inputs are still given,
your account will be locked in for the day. You will get the next login attempt with OTP post
the date change (i.e., the next day). Hence, we request you to be careful with your login ID
and OTP.
Request you to use a Desktop / Laptop. Please clear the cache, history, and cookies and use
the latest version of Internet Explorer / Google Chrome.
Q. What will be my work location?
Your joining location will be discussed with you during the interview process, and your
location preference will be taken into consideration. However, the final location assigned
would be at the sole discretion of TCS depending on business needs.
Q. I have applied for the drive but have not got a confirmation e-mail, what should I do?
A. You will not receive an acknowledgment or confirmation e-mail. Therefore, we request you
to complete all the steps carefully. Please ensure the application status reflects as ‘Applied
for Drive’ which serves as a confirmation of successful registration.
Eligible candidates will get an email from our test partner TCS iON on the test venue and
schedule a few days before the test.
