On normal operation, the display doesn’t display any information until all the softwares are
          ready.
After the display is powered on, you will have the followed sequence:

               • After three seconds, the yellow led blink slowly and the backlight is switch off
               • The display remains in this mode for a about one minute (power-on self-test and
                   initialization of the operating system)
               • After this minute, the yellow led is switch off and the device will display the desktop
                   bitmap.
                  • If the display is configuring to display HTML web server, the device will immediately

device will display the URL page of the secondary server. If both the primary and
secondary servers are out of order, the device will still display the internal default web
page. (Refer to the configuration manual to change IP address and URL of the
primary and secondary server, and to change the internal default picture)
It may be interesting to see what happens during the auto-test and initialization phase of the
device. To do this, you have to put the switch 4 of the CPU board cabinet on position ON.
(Refer to the maintenance manual for more information).
On maintenance operation, the device display all the phases of the initialization.
Then, after the display is powered on, you will have the followed sequence:
              • The green led is immediately steady light
              • After three seconds, the red led blink quickly and the backlight is switch on.
              • The device will display the type of the video interface (DVI) and will display the auto
test of the CPU board during two seconds
                  • After eight second of black picture (reading primary boot information for the operating
system), the device will display a display picture with eight cyan dashes on the left top
of the screen (reading secondary boot information for operating system). This picture
is display during about twenty seconds.

                                                             4. OSD CONTROLS
  4.1 – Generality
NOTE: Some functions may not be available depending on the model or optional
          equipment.
The remote control can be used to control up to 250 individual displays using what is called
the remote control ID mode. The remote control ID mode works in conjunction with the display
ID. If there are many displays being used in the same area, a remote control in normal mode
would send signals to every display at the same time. Using the remote control ID mode will
only operate one specific display within the group.
In this example, you have to enter the number 4 to adjust this display.
The ID number of the display can be change by a value of the OSD menu or by a file
configuration. (Refer to the configuration manual to change this value without Remote control)
When the device is selected with his ID number, the OSD menu is displayed.
Choose the type of adjustment (highlight in left column) with up and down button of the remote
          control.
Press the red button of the remote control to clear the OSD display.
Press the green button of the remote control to select the desired adjustment.
Then, choose the adjustment (highlight in the middle column) with up and down button of the
          remote control.
To come back to the left column, press the red button of the remote control.
Settings
Contrast: adjusts the image the brightness in relationship to the video signal.
Press + or – to adjust. The value is between 0 and 100%.

Press + or – to adjust. The value is between 1 and 60 seconds.
When this value is low (1 second), the automatic adjustment of the backlight is fast. The
brightness of the backlight adjusts quickly when the external luminosity changes.
When this value is high (60 seconds), the automatic adjustment of the backlight is slow. The
brightness of the backlight adjusts slowly when the external luminosity changes.
Backlight low level: the value of the backlight level in automatic mode when the external
          brightness is zero (black night).
Press + or – to adjust. The value is between 1 and 100%.
If the backlight low level value is greater than the backlight value, the automatic backlight has
          no effect.

cabinet. It is the same functionality as the LAN1 IP address.
In normal configuration, you don’t have to use this LAN (let it in DHCP mode).
(Refer to the configuration manual to change DHCP mode and Subnet mask value for LAN1 &
          LAN2)
Display server: shows if the device automatically display web server page.
This value is yes or no.
If the value no is selected, the device only display the desktop background.

The display will automatically reboot two times after you validate the new IP address.
You can then connect the display to the network.
Select the good configuration file (load Config button), verify the good IP address of
the display to configure, and then download the configuration to the display
                       (Download TAG button).
When the display receives the new configuration, it will reboot automatically.
If the terminal continues, without reason, to display internal default page, you can check
network configuration with the remote control.
Verify that the IP address and port of the primary server are corrects
Verify the entire URL page to display from the primary server (IPAddress:Port/URL)
You can do the same tests with the secondary server (verify IP address, test ping, test HTML).
Enter the IP address of the display and the click on the button “SNMP Connect”.
Then, you will see lots of information (settings and configuration) about the display.
