ANNEXURE III- (PART B)

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF CRANE


The Cranes offered under the tender should meet Technical Specifications and Service
Requirements, as detailed hereunder during currency of the contract, failing which the same
may not be accepted on duty.
CRANE: Job A1 & Job A2: Hiring of services of Cranes 40 MT (10 hours duty)

radius at lift of 9 mtrs. Height from the ground level.
(Rated loads shall not exceed 85% of tipping load)

6 Safety i. All controls shall operate in fail-safe mode.
ii. A load indicator shall be provided in full view of the
operator giving information about the radius at
which the crane is derricked and appropriate load
thereof.
iii. A device shall be fitted which will give an alarm to
the operator a little before optimum safe working
load conditions are reached. The alarm shall be
audio-visual type. The device shall also cut off all
operations wherever loading conditions are
reached and slipping of load prevented.

Note :
1. 1 MT = 1000 KG
2. Crane must comply with all the RTO regulations/ rules of the place where the crane shall
be deployed.

3. The vehicles should be fitted with GPS system (Vehicle tracking system) as per details
mentioned in the tender.

Following documents will be required at the time of Inspection of Cranes.


1. Notarized copy of valid RC book, with valid tax token of the offered cranes.
2. Notarized copy of certificate from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) giving
details of Crane Serial No./ Chassis No., and the year of manufacture of the offered crane.
3. In case such offered cranes are of imported origin then, in addition to (1) & (2) above,
notarized copy of the Customs Documents e.g. Bill of Entry/ Bill of Lading/ Import Invoice
showing the crane serial no., chassis no. and year of manufacture of the offered cranes .
4. The Cranes should be fitted with Spark arrestors, two DCP portable fire extinguishers in
working condition.
5. The Cranes should be equipped with the necessary st

6. Spark arrestor to be kept fitted firmly in exhaust all the time during the operation of the
Cranes under this contract.
7. Valid Fitness certificate of Cranes from RTO.
8. Valid Comprehensive Insurance certificate of Cranes.
9. Offered cranes should have valid inspection certificate which is not older than 3 months
from the date of placement for capacity and technical specifications of the crane with
reference to tender document from any of the following Third Party certifying agencies
i.e. DNV, Lloyds, Bureau Veritas, CEIL, prior to mobilization/ deployment of the crane .
Such certificates shall be considered valid for one year only.
10. Information of Crew along with valid documents (e.g Driving License, Police report,
identity Card, contact no etc.) Crew member should familiar with the operational field of
Cambay Asset with knowledge of Local language, having no pending police case.
11. The crane operator manning the Crane must have a mobile phone in working condition
for proper co-ordination. If the crane operator reports for duty without a mobile phone
or if the same is not in working condition, then an amount @ Rs 100/- per day shall be
deducted from monthly bills on account of lapse / services deficiency.
12. Each Crane should be equipped with reverse horn.
13. Each crew should have dangri , safety shoes and helmet.
14. GPS should be installed in Crane.
