First Lesson Plan

1. Greetings and Introductions (5-10 minutes)

Objective: Make the student feel comfortable and practice basic English dialogues.

What to do:

- "Hello! How are you today?"

- "What is your name?"

- "Where are you from?"

Activity: Practice a simple dialogue by repeating greetings and introductions.

2. Colors (10-15 minutes)

Objective: Learn colors and use them in sentences.

Vocabulary:

- Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black, White, Pink, Purple, Orange

Activity:

- Show objects in different colors and ask, "What color is this?"

- Play a game where the student finds objects of a specific color in the room.

3. Family Members (10-15 minutes)

Objective: Learn vocabulary for family members and practice simple sentences.

Vocabulary:
- Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Grandmother, Grandfather

Sentence Structures:

- "This is my mother."

- "I have a brother."

Activity: Ask the student to describe their family and draw a picture with the family members labeled

in English.

4. Numbers (10-15 minutes)

Objective: Learn numbers 1-20.

Vocabulary:

- 1 to 20

Activity:

- Show number cards and ask the student to say the number in English.

- Play a game where the student says random numbers in sequence or out of order.

5. Simple Verbs (10 minutes)

Objective: Learn simple verbs and practice using them in sentences.

Vocabulary:

- Eat, Drink, Play, Run, Walk, Read, Write, Sleep

Sentence Structures:
- "I eat an apple."

- "I play with my friends."

Activity: Act out the verbs and ask the student to guess the verb in English. Then, switch roles and

let the student act out a verb for you to guess.
