INTRODUCTION:‐
Raj Bhavan is a residential palace situated in Dona Paula, Goa which serves
as the official residence of the Hon’ble Governor of Goa. The sprawling 88 acres
estate is located on a cape in the Goan capital, Panjim, known by the name
"Palacio do Cabo".
It hosts a number of residential suites along with the landmarks such as
“Aushadhi Vatika”, “Helipad”, “Raj Bhavan Museum”, “Our Lady of Cape
Church”, “Sea View point”, “Grotto”, “View of Raj Bhavan Palace”. Till date
these landmarks were not open for the general public, however the
Hon’ble Governor has decided to open the doors of Raj Bhavan for the
general public w.e.f 05th Jan 2019. Citizens will get to explore the grandeur
and architectural beauty of Raj Bhavan, which will in turn generate revenue
to the Government. The tour will be a vehicle based tour using participants
vehicle for a duration of 3 hours.
All the visitors will be assembled at the Entry Gate next to security area and
from where, the visit to the Raj Bhavan will be on the following route:
1. Welcome and Briefing at Raj Bhavan Gate.
2. Walk to RajBhavan - 1km walk, We discuss about Raj Bhavan enroute
this walk
3. Gaushala
4. Bonsai Garden
5. Chapel
6. Museum
7. Cadillac Car
8. Aushadhi Vatika
9. Canon Point
10. Sandal wood Garden
INSTRUCTIONS:‐
• The general public can visit Raj Bhavan once a week I.e Saturday’s.
Kindly note the tour is a vehicle based tour using participants vehicle for
a duration of 3 hours.
• Online request should be made atleast 1 days before the date of visit.
• Entry to Raj Bhavan for Visitors will be through the Main Entry Gate
of Raj Bhavan.
• Visiting time will be from 15:00 Hrs. to 18:00 Hrs. The reporting time will
be at 14:30 Hrs. Entry will not be permitted for those who are not
reporting at the designated time.
• Indian Citizens are required to produce the Govt Valid ID Proof (Aadhar
Card, Voter ID, License, Passport etc).
Foreign nationals will be required to produce their original passport for
identification at entry point. (This ID should be same as the one used for
registration on website)
• Registration charges per person for age of 12 years and below, per day
will be Rs. 350/- (Rupees Three hundred fifty only) & for Age above 12
years Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only), inclusive of taxes. Fees are
payable only through online and is non-transferable.
• Visitors may come individually or in a group of maximum 10persons.
• Online booking is subject to confirmation through emails/SMS’s.
• Mobile phones and Cameras will not be permitted inside the campus.
• For security reasons, Governor’s Office reserves the right to
approve/reject the request to visit Raj Bhavan. The Governor’s Office
also reserves the right to cancel without assigning any reason, if the
circumstances render it necessary.
• However, if due to unforeseen circumstances the booking is canceled by
Raj Bhavan, the amount will be refunded to visitors account.
