2.2.1 Device information
As to the device information, please take a look at the software version, IP address.

Above information are SSID, encryptions and signal strength For example network name robin stands for SSID OPN stands for encryption16 stands for the signal strength OPN means non-encryption WEP means WEP encryption WPA means WPA encryption 16 stands for signal strength, the larger the better; suggest to choose the signal
above 10 choose OPN non-encryption, press OK, will show APconnected successful choose WEP encryption, press OK then auto-hacking, if succeeds, it will connect to AP, if not, it will show the failure information. After hacking, it will automatically connect to the wireless router and transfer to SSID model, that is, SSID is DD-linkpassword is 12345678

2.2.5 Reset the factory settings
If there are some unknown problems or after you upgrade the software that makes your Wifirobin not working, you have to reset the factory settings. Choose FACTORY RESET on the menu, press OK, reset factory settings, default address: is 192.168.4.20, user name: admin, password: admin

3.1 Local IP settings
Change your network settings to IP address: 192.168.4.xx
3.2 Open up your internet browser and access to http://192.168.4.20, login with the username: admin and the password: admin

3.3 Wireless Mode introduction

3.3.1 Station Mode settings
Enter into LINK SETUP tab, choose STATION as a wireless mode, and apply the change. See picture below,
How to connect the Wifirobin with ESSID: click SELECT option, you will see a popup window as below, press SCAN button, it can automatically search for the wireless signals near around.
Choose the ESSID you want, apply the change then you can be connected. If your wireless network is encrypted, you need to fill in the corresponding password at the WIRELESS SECURITY tab, see the system information and tools options, drop-down the menu, you will see the Align antenna DB, see below picture.

Note that -96dBm is the signal between Wifirobin and ESSID
3.3.2 ESSID MODE setting
Go to the LINK SETUP tab, choose STATION, enable REPEATER, and apply the change. Then go to the NETWORK tab, choose ROUTER as a network mode, set your REPEATED ESSID and WPA PRESHARED KEY as you want, see below

3.3.3 3G wireless router mode settings
If using 3G function, you need to use the wall charger for the power supply. Note that the wall charger is not included in the package; please contact the official site to buy the charger. Go to the NETWORK tab, choose the network mode BRIDGE, enable 3G, enable DHCP server, apply the change, then you can surf online by using 3G. Note 1Wifirobin support 3G network card 23G network card has been connected to the device 3Wifirobin IP choose STATIC status, otherwise you cant access to the device.

3.3.4 Wireless router PPPoE settings
Go to the NETWROK tab, choose ROUTER as a Network mode; at LAN NETWORK SETTINGS, choose PPPoE as LAN IP ADDRESS, and fill in the corresponding PPPoE user name and PPPoE password. At WLAN NETWORK SETTINGS, fill in the corresponding address, enable DHCP server, and apply the change.
3.3.5 Wireless router settings
Wifirobin can be used as a wireless router, go to the LINK SETUP tab, choose the wireless mode ACCESS POINT; then go to the NETWORK tab to choose the ROUTER as a network mode
3.4 How to set the hacked information
Lets say, if Wifirobin hacked a password 3132333435 that works very well, and if it hacked another one or you reset the factory settings and you need to restore to the one that you hacked previously, no need to hack again, please follow the settings below, Go to the LINKUP tab to choose STATION as a wireless mode, take a look at ESSID and WPA PRESHARED KEY, enable repeater,

Rebooting
After rebooting and get connected.
Firmware upgrades instruction.

upgrading the firmware.
6. Wait for a couple of minutes until the device reboots, it will succeed in upgrading. Pay attention to the two points shows below 1Do not change the file name fw.bin, leave as it is. 2During the firmware upgrading, make sure Wifirobin powers up and connect to the network cable. After rebooting the device, now do a simple operation on Wifirobin LED screen, choose factory reset option, wait for some seconds, reboot it again. Upgrade succeeded.
