PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN Mini UID (Unique Identity) Project under Prof. D.B. Phatak [Sep09-Nov09] Institute scale project based on the current national level UID project undertaken by Govt. of India Aimed at uniquely identifying any IIT student by analyzing the corresponding fingerprint image Fingerprint image was scanned and converted to .xml format containing each pixel information Analysed the image extracting vital differentiating points and adding this information to corresponding student database and using it to uniquely identify the student Language used:C/C++ Advanced Line Following Bot [Jan10] Designed and built an autonomous bot that can follow a white painted path on a black background Bot used PID control for optimizing the basic line following technique, IR LED-phototransistor, arduino microcontroller, differential drive mechanism,IC LM324,IC L293D, dc motors, battery Classic Snake game [2008] Designed using language C/C++ Used the approach of Object Oriented Programming with proper GUI to enhance the gameplay.
