1. The Holidays marked with (*) can be refixed according to the visibility of the moon.
2. April 29th (Last Friday of Ramzan) will be Restricted Holiday for Muslims.
3. The District Judge may declare three local holidays in consultation with District Magistrate.
4. There will be Winter Vacation from January 02nd to January 30th for the Civil Courts in districts Almora, Bageshwar,
Champawat (except Tanakpur outlying court), Chamoli, Chakrata (Outlying Court District Dehradun), Nainital (except
Haldwani and Ramnagar outlying courts), Pithoragarh, Pauri Garhwal (except Kotdwar outlying court), Rudraprayag,
Tehri Garhwal and Uttarakashi Districts as shown in Blue.
5. There will be Summer Vacation from June 1st to June 30th for the Civil Courts in districts Dehradun (except Chakrata
outlying court), Hardwar and Udham Singh Nagar alongwith Haldwnai and Ramnagar (Outlying Courts District
Nainital), Kotdwar (Outlying Court District Pauri Garhwal) and Tanakpur (Outlying Court District Champawat) as
shown in Green.
6. The Courts will remain closed on the dates shown by Red.
7. There is a separate list of holidays for the High Court.
