SUBJECT : Final Report on Qualified Theft Incident

1. The incident occurred on November 19th, 2023. It happened at early morning,
around 4 A.M.
2. This final report concludes the investigation into the stealing of Victor Lim
Tanon’s motorcycle, which occurred on November 19 2023. The report
summarizes the findings, including statements obtained, evidence collected,
and the resolution of the case.
3. The complainant was Victor Lim Tanon, and the culprit is named Macky
Honda. On November 19, 2023, Victor Lim Tanon reported an incident where
his motorcycle was stolen while being parked at Tolosa Public Plaza. The
subsequent investigation aimed to determine the circumstances surrounding
the incident and hold the responsible party accountable.
4. Victor Lim Tanon provided his statements, describing the events that led to his
motorcycle being stolen. He stated that he forgot to get his keys that was
attached to the motorcycle before he left for his exercise.
5. The investigating officers, Paks Erez & Darlene Palen investigated the area
where the motorcycle was stolen and was able to locate a witness of the
incident. According to the witness, Cheese Moza, she identified Macky Honda
approaching and driving away with a black and red Honda XR 150 early in the
morning while she was sweeping the streets.
6. Based on the statement of the witness, the police officers searched and
located Macky Honda at his residence with the stolen motorcycle in his
garage. The suspect, Macky Honda admitted to the crime of stealing the
motorcycle and was brought to the authorities together with the stolen
motorcycle to be returned to the owner.
7. Based on the evidence and statements obtained during the investigation, it is
clear that a qualified theft of Victor Lim Tanon's motorcycle occurred. Victor's
consistent account, supported by the testimony of the witness Cheese Moza,
and the suspect being caught with the stolen vehicle provides substantial
evidence of the incident.
8. Considering the severity of the act and the evidence gathered, it is
recommended that criminal charges be filed against Macky Honda for
Qualified Theft, in accordance with Article 310 of the Revise Penal Code of the
Philippines.
