NATURE OF SPECIMEN
Wide local excision of right breast mass

MACROSCOP IC EXAMINATION
Received an unoriented specimen of circumscribed globular mass, partly covered by thin fibrofatty tissue
measuring 7 .8x6.5x5.5 cm. Cut surface shows tan white solid area with multiple small cystic spaces ranging
from 0.1 to 1.5cm across. Focal slit like spaces and leaf like fronds are also seen. Distance of the tumor from
nearest margin less than 1 mm.
