Waste is a word that often makes


people react negatively. For some,
things that are no use are
automatically considered waste.

“Why do you think that most of us


react negatively when they hear
the word waste?”

“Yes! It is one of the factors why


people react negatively about
waste. Cause most of the times
waste has a bad odour and
probably they have a lot of germs.”

Waste is defined as any Student No. 6 “Ma’am I think

➢ It includes metals, plastics,
Glass and breakable bottles,
Petroleum products, poisonous
chemicals and radioactive
materials
Reusable and Recyclable
• Scrap metal like vehicle
parts, roofing materials, nuts
and bolts, wires, and other
things made of metal
• Wood and boards
• PET bottles and other
plastic containers
• Paper and cartons
• Fragile bottle and glass
