Leonardo Dicaprio
Leonardo Wilhelm Dicaprio is an American actor, writer and movie producer. He was born in 1974 in Los
Angeles, California. His father George was a comic book artist and his mother Irmelin was an actress and
producer.
Dicaprio wasn't always living the high life. His childhood was filled with struggles including divorce, bad
neighborhoods, crime and violence. His parents divorced not long after his birth and at the age of 16 he
quit high school,but Dicaprio still managed to become one of the most famous Hollywood actors.
What emotionally and psychologically led him down the right path was the support of his parents. They
would take him to auditions every day after school. This eventually led to Dicaprio pursuing a full-time
acting career, with his parents offering all the support they could. To this day Dicaprio still invites one or
both of his parents every time he is nominated for an Oscar.
Dicoprio began acting as a small child, appearing in commercials. His first movies were Roseanne (1988)
and The Lassie (1989), but he made his debut in Critters 3 (1991) a low-budget horror movie.
His best role is Jack in Titanic movie and his most famous movies are The Revenant, Catch Me If You Can,
Inception, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Departed, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,...
He has won his first-ever Oscar for his work in The Revenant. He has won 101 awards from 252
nominations. His upcoming movie is Killers OF The Flower Moon.
Dicaprio is single and doesn't have any children. He once said that he didn't believe in marriage and
didn't see himself having children.
