Exercises :
Exercise 01: Complete the following sentences with a comparative of
equality/ inequality:
- Sally is (not elegant) ………. Rym.→
- We moved to a house which is (big) ………. The old one.

- The great Mosque is (not big) ……….El Masjid El Haram.

Exercise 2: Rewrite the sentences using comparatives of inequality

1. John is taller than Mary. (Use "not as ... as")


2. This computer is more expensive than that one. (Use "less ... than")
3. I don't run as fast as my brother. (Use "slower ... than")
4. The new phone isn't as heavy as the old one. (Use "lighter ... than")

Exercise 3: Choose the correct form

1. The red dress is (more expensive / as expensive as) the blue one.
2. My dog is (not as friendly as / unfriendlier than) your cat.
3. Today's weather is (as nice as / nicer than) yesterday's.
4. The test was (more difficult / as difficult as) I thought it would be.

Exercise 4: Complete the sentences using the comparative form of the


adjectives in parentheses.
