Email marketing Strategy:

Email marketing is highly effective digital marketing strategy of sending of emails


to prospects and customers. Effectively marketing emails convert prospects into
customers, turn one-time buyers into loyal.
Email marketing helps to reach your customers, create awareness of your brand
and sell your goods or services.
Email Warm-up:
Email warm-up refers to the practice of sending a gradually increasing number of
emails from a new email account with the aim of building a positive reputation
with email providers and avoiding spam filters. Previously, it was possible to warm
up an email purely based on the number of emails sent.
Time Taken:
It takes 8 to 12 weeks to accomplish maximum email deliverability.
Spam Recovery:
First select all spam, then move all spam to the inbox. It will be sent to the spam
inbox. Now reply to all emails and select all and mark as important and add
starred.
Spam emails are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Purpose of Spam Emails:
 No permission to email
 Sending from spam IP address
 Low engagement rate (Low open rate or read rate)
 Subject line (Spam words)
 From information or physical address
 Should be unsubscribe link
 Spam Triggering word
Spam Rate:
A spam complaint rate is the number of people who reported email as spam out of
the total number of messages you have sent. For example, if you send 5,000
messages and 5 people mark it as spam, your spam rate is 0.1% (5/5,000).
Email Bounce:
A bounced email, or bounce, is an email message that gets rejected by a mail
server. When an email bounces, it has for some reason not reached the intended
destination.
The accepted benchmark for bounced emails is 2%. This means for every 100
emails you send, two will be returned to you. Often times, your bounce rate will be
much lower. Anything between 2% and 5% is worth noting.
Types of Bounced Email:
Hard Bounce:
A hard bounce means that the email address is permanently unavailable and should
not receive electronic mail.
Soft Bounce:
A soft bounce is temporary, and may be caused by server outages or a full inbox.
Click Rate:
Click-through rate is the ratio of clicks on a specific link to the number of times a
page, email, or advertisement is shown. It is commonly used to measure the
success of an online advertising campaign for a particular website, as well as the
effectiveness of email campaigns.
A good click-through rate should be between 2-5%, depending on the industry.
Open Rate:
Open Rate is an email marketing metrics that measures the percentage rate at
which emails are opened.
A good email open rate should be between 17-28%, depending on the industry.
Reply Rate:
Reply rate is an email marketing metrics that measures the percentage rate at which
emails are replied.
A normal response rate should be between 5-30%.
An excellent response rate is 50% or higher.
Domain Reputation:
Domain reputation is the overall “health” of your branded domain as interpreted by
mailbox providers. Your reputation is determined by various factors such as
engagement, spam complaint rates, spam traps, and bounce rates.
Domain Age:
Domain age refers to how long a given domain has been in use.
Minimum domain age is 3 months.
Domain Health:
A Domain Health Lookup takes your domain name and provides you with a battery
of tests to judge the health of all aspects of your domain: Blacklist status of Mail
Server, Web Server and Domain.
