I am delighted to welcome you to the third edition of our
quarterly newsletter, "HIVE." As we continue to work
towards progress and development, I'm excited to share Sh. Shrivallabh Goyal
with you our ongoing efforts in creating a world-class CEO & WTD (METL)
commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential
infrastructure.
It gives me immense pleasure to share that Reliance MET City has received esteemed awards such as the
"Most Trusted Brands of India" in the Business City category in the 3rd Edition of Marksmen Daily and
the 'Best Integrated Business City' at the NAREDCO Awards 2023. These awards are a testament to our
commitment to excellence in creating a sustainable, innovative, and thriving business and living
environment.
Our residential development project has gained immense traction, attracting interest from both
homebuyers and investors. With our residential plots launched in three phases, the prices have almost
doubled since the introduction of the first phase, reflecting the remarkable growth and success of our
residential project. Our state-of-the-art amenities and promise of a high-quality lifestyle for residents have
contributed to the success of the residential project. I am confident that this development will not only
enhance the living standards of the people but also contribute significantly to the region's economic
growth.
Reliance MET City has always focused on sustainable urban development. The smart city is IGBC gold
certified and is well on its way to becoming India’s first and largest IGBC Platinum-rated Township.
Through the use of technology, we are working towards reducing our response time to customer queries.
We are integrating our website to drive real-time sales and create experiences through faster bookings and
sales through e-payment systems. This kind of work is not available with any integrated smart city
developer of this scale anywhere in India. The system is designed to integrate the entire MET City map
with plot availability details to make it an easier, faster, and hassle-free booking experience for customers.
We have also developed an integrated command and control centre to ensure the 24x7 safety and
surveillance of the city, and the city hosts smart solutions for disaster management and services to
guarantee smooth operations for its customers and residents.
We are committed to providing affordable healthcare services to its staff, construction workers, and
community members. To achieve this, the city has established a smart healthcare centre on the Reliance
MET City site office campus that will offer primary healthcare services at affordable costs. Moreover, the
healthcare centre will leverage technology to connect patients with virtual health consultations on
demand, making it more accessible and convenient for those who may have limited access to traditional
healthcare services.

To further support the local community, Reliance MET City will soon launch a skill development
training centre to provide trained manpower and ensure fewer employee-related issues saving time and
resources, and achieving cost-effectiveness. Courses will be designed based on industry demands and
skills gaps, ensuring the local workforce remains competitive and highly skilled.
Our unwavering commitment to infrastructure development, sustainable growth, and nation-building
continues to be the cornerstone of our vision. As we continue to drive progress and shape a better
tomorrow for our nation and its people, we remain deeply grateful for your continued patronage and

The construction industry has undergone significant changes in Sr. VP - Infrastructure
its relationship with market economics since the
implementation of open reforms and the pandemic.
This shift has enabled the industry to embrace sustainable technologies, which have become increasingly
popular due to the growing preference for eco-friendly lifestyles. Additionally, modernization and
technicalization have led to the emergence and expansion of various new construction technologies. As
a result, the drawbacks of traditional civil engineering construction technology have been somewhat
mitigated, and new construction methods have become more prevalent in everyday life, creating a
sustainable development environment for the general population.
The global construction market is driven by the increased investment in infrastructure, expanding
manufacturing base and distribution facilities, and increasing focus on building earthquake-resilient
buildings for sustainable development. The future of construction industries is mainly in building
construction, Heavy industries, Land planning and development and speciality trade. The Global
construction market is forecasted to grow by $1123 billion, accelerating at a CAGR of 5.3% during the
next five years.
India's construction market is anticipated to grow with an impressive CAGR much better than the global
in the forecast period of the next five years ahead, The construction Industry is expected to reach $1.4
Tn by 2025. This growth is led by increasing infrastructures & high growing need for housing due to
increased demand. Additionally, government-aided growth schemes and investment plans such as the
100 smart cities project and Bharatmala Pariyojana. The increasing construction in the industrial sector
due to growing industrialization and urbanization is also responsible for the Indian construction
market's futuristic growth in the next five years. The Real Estate Industry in India is expected to reach $1
Tn by 2030 and will contribute 13% to India’s GDP
Sustainable development is a development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising
the ability of future generations to meet their own needs and living within our environmental limits is
one of the central principles of sustainable development. One implication of not doing so is climate
change. But the focus of sustainable development is far broader than just environmental changes. It's also
about ensuring a strong, healthy and just society.

This means meeting the diverse needs of all people in existing and future communities, promoting
personal well-being, social cohesion and inclusion, and creating equal opportunity. We as the METL
family fully acknowledge the same & are committed and focused towards developing a fully sustainable
township where we emphasize green development, the use of renewable energy, and the development of
a fully integrated township with a concept of walk-to-work with all amenities within walking distance. To
ensure the same we have already been awarded as the first ever IGBC GOLD-rated integrated township
in the private sector. Also, we are very near to upgrading it to IGBC platinum rating as one step ahead
of our commitment towards sustainable development. We are already utilising 15% of our total energy
consumption through solar energy and targeting to achieve 27% very soon. We are committed towards
water conservation and hence utilising the wastewater after treatment for irrigation as well as other
industrial non-potable uses.
Construction is a high-volume, low-margin industry. It is being further squeezed by labour shortages, and
rising material costs, and now must navigate the effects of the Ukraine conflict. The new technology has
the potential to help improve the sustainability, and scalability of business models and utilise assets more
effectively. However, the construction industry has consistently been a slow technology adopter.
Emerging use cases of technology such as AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), and augmented reality in
construction means that there are no longer any excuses, and companies must invest and adapt to stay
competitive. In India presently we are in the preliminary stage of implementation of new technologies in
construction industries. To ensure the implementation, we must understand the four stages of
construction technology implementation. The first stage is to have a complete understanding of the
technologies like Building Information Modelling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Visual realities
(VR), Robotics, 3D printing, Drones, Internet of things (IoT), RFID, sensors, GPS, GIS, barcoding etc
associated with the construction and its different phases. The second stage is to prepare a road map that
outlines the integration of one or each of these technologies across the construction project lifecycle The
final third stage is to connect and integrate all these technologies to outline the relationship between the
different technologies and then the final stage is the implementation of the technologies adopted.
METL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries and follows the same principle and footprints
and becoming the market leader in the real state field of developing the fully integrated township. As a
commitment to all our valued customers, we are maximising the adoption of new technologies for
developing a fully sustainable township. We have already taken a licence of more than 1900 Acre and
have already developed fully the trunk power supply with state of art GIS-based technology with SCADA
monitoring for 220/33 KV as well as 33/11KV substation and all underground power network, fully
automatic UF based with SCADA monitoring water treatment plant with sector wise distribution
network, NBIoT based street lighting network with 100% energy saving LED light fitting, the robust road
network of more than 36km and underground network for sewer and stormwater. We are in the last stage
of development of our first best-in-class residential township of 79 acres. The development of club
building as well as SCO is also in full swing and is expected to be commissioned this financial year only.
The development of this fully integrated MET CITY in this region with lead to a holistic growth of the
entire neighbourhood and will be playing a critical role in the socioeconomic development of the entire
neighbourhood along with all our stakeholders. Wish you all good health and happiness and hope that

MET City Updates
Plast India Exhibition
Reliance MET City participated in the 11th
International Plastics Exhibition, sponsored by Reliance
Industries Limited, which was held from 1st to 5th
February 2023 and witnessed over 3.60 lakh visitors.
The event provided a valuable platform for Reliance
MET City to increase visibility, network with
industrialists from various sectors, and highlight the
unique benefits of MET City as a favourable location for
establishing and expanding businesses. With over 1800
exhibitors from across the globe, the event attracted
participants from more than 40 countries, including
Germany, Austria, Japan, and Singapore. It provided an
ideal platform for launching new products, expanding
networks, learning about new technologies, and
exchanging ideas on a global level.
UP Global Investor Summit 2023
Reliance MET City marked its presence at the UP Global
Investors Summit held from 10-12 Feb 2023, in Lucknow, which
was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the
summit, Mr. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries
Limited, shared insights on the Union Budget 2023, paving the
way for India's growth as a developed nation and announced the
group's future investment plans for Uttar Pradesh. The event
brought together policymakers, industry leaders, academia, and
leaders from across the world to explore business opportunities
and forge new partnerships.
Russian Delegation Visit
A large group of 75 Russian delegates representing various
industrial sectors and regions of the Russian Federation visited
Reliance MET City. The delegation showed keen interest in
exploring future investment opportunities after their tour of the
smart city. The visit was jointly organized by the Federation of
Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

MET City Updates
Manesar Industries Welfare Association (MIWA)
Reliance MET City sponsored and participated in the Annual General
Meeting of the Manesar Industries Welfare Association (MIWA) on 4th
Feb 2023. At the event, Mr. Vaibhav Mittal, VP & Head BD, Reliance
MET City, presented the advantages of investing in MET City to
MIWA members, including world-class plug-and-play infrastructure,
strategic location with excellent connectivity, and a mere 30-minute
travel time from Manesar. Additionally, the SIDBI announced an
exclusive scheme called SIMPLE, in partnership with Reliance MET
City, which provides MIWA members with benefits for two-stage
financing for purchasing plots in MET City.
ASSOCHAM
Reliance MET City collaborated with the ASSOCHAM for
their 5th National Managing Committee, which was
organized on 15th Feb 2023. It was a remarkable event
attended by several distinguished guests, including the
Honorable Finance Minister of India, Sh. Nirmala
Sitharaman, and Mr. Amitabh Kant, G20 India Sherpa. The
event was primarily focused on discussing India's economic
growth and its evolving global role in the face of various
challenges.
D.S. Dhesi’s Visit
Reliance MET City had the privilege of hosting Shri. D.S.
Dhesi, (IAS) Chief Principal Secretary to CM,
Government of Haryana. Sh. Shrivallabh Goyal, CEO &
WTD of MET City guided him on a tour of the project,
including a visit to Flipkart inside Allcargo Logistics Ltd
park to discuss the innovative and sustainable approaches
adopted by MET City. The visit was marked by the
planting of a tree at MET City, symbolising our
deep-rooted commitment to the envirnment.

Republic Day Celebration
Reliance MET City celebrated the 74th Republic Day of India with
the MET community members and Reliance employees. During the
event, we unfurled a majestic 100-foot-long tricolour flag,
symbolizing our unwavering commitment to the nation. We also
created a magnificent rangoli reflecting our sense of pride for the

Making a Difference
Reliance MET City pours its heart and soul into social causes, and its unwavering
dedication to the community shines through in its powerful CSR activities.
Promoting Health Care Services
Providing healthcare to the community is our priority. We regularly
organize dental and eye camps and gynaecology camps to offer
medical assistance and education to the residents of over 20 villages.
We have provided over 3000 consultations through our Outreach
Programme and over 500 consultations through our Health Camps.
MET City is trying a difference in the lives of those in need, one
village at a time.
Community Engagement & other Programs
At Reliance MET City, we understand the value of community
engagement and we take pride in our commitment to serving the
community. In our dedication to making a positive impact, we
organised "Mission Sahyog", an awareness cum facilitation camp in
over 20 villages, which touched lives by providing them with
government-sponsored Yellow Ration Cards Ayushman cards.
Promoting Cleanliness
Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, Reliance MET City in collaboration with Reliance Foundation provided
six tractors and trollies to six different Gram Panchayats of Badli block to promote awareness, cleanliness, and
effective garbage collection in the area. The event was graced by Sh. Om Prakash Dhankar, State President of
BJP Haryana as the chief guest and Sh. Shrivallabh Goyal, Chief Executive Officer of MET, as the special
guest.

Making a Difference
Empowering Women
With a focus to empower women, we offer certification programs
for skill development and business support. It has helped women
to gain financial independence, enabling them to become valuable
contributors to their communities and enhancing their overall
well-being.
Education, Skilling & Sports
As part of our skilling and employment program, we run a
skill development centre for the youths at Sondhi village to
provide computer-related training courses.
Our skilling and employment initiative has trained a
significant number of youths in the Data Entry Operator
trade, securing employment in surrounding logistics
warehouses and industrial units. We supported the
government system by installing a 10 KW solar plant at
Government High School Ladpur. We provide coaching for
various competitive exams to children from different villages
and train youths under the AGNIPATH scheme by Govt. of
India to empower and educate the youth.
