Medha Servo Drives Pvt. Ltd., founded in 1984, is focused on rail transportation. Since
inception, Medha has used Research and Development as a tool for success and today
we are proud to be known for our product range, domain knowledge, design expertise,
quality and manufacturing capabilities. Starting from humble beginning, over the last 40
years our company has grown to employ over 5500+ talented people whose
commitment has led to a sales revenue of INR 3630 crores (approximately USD 250
million) for the year 2018-19, with the revenues growing at the rate of 27% year over
year (CAGR) for the past ten years & with last year consolidated group turnover of
about Rs. 2300 crores. Medha’s vision is to become world leader in railway products
and to achieve this we specialise in three areas, Control Electronics, Power Electronics
and safety critical Signalling.

We have designed and manufactured various world-class high-tech electronics products

for application on locomotives, train-sets, coaches, railway stations and yards. We
specialize in designing and engineering our products to withstand shock and vibration,
wide temperature variations, and electrical disturbances that are typical of harsh
locomotive environment. Our strength lies in designing, customizing and integrating
systems that involve multiple functional domains such as control electronics, power
electronics, fail safety and mechanical construction. Medha’s R&D Centre is 900 people
strong and has all the infrastructure required for developing sophisticated products.

Medha has also achieved CMMI Level 5 certification for well defined design processes
for new product development.

Medha’s R&D Centre, R&D Centre Unit II, and Manufacturing Unit, located in three
different areas, are built over a combined area of about 18 acres of land in the heart of
industrial areas near Hyderabad, India. These state-of-the-art facilities encompass the
capability to research, design, develop, manufacture, service and provide in-field
product support.

In 2007, Medha started a charitable institution by the name of ‘Medha Charitable Trust’
for the upliftment of poor students. It is the goal of the trust to improve the lives of these
students by supporting them throughout their education and helping them become self
sufficient in the long run. The trust has touched the lives of more than 22,00,000
students in various schools so far since its establishment.

We are hiring for the position of "ENGINEER-TRAINEE (R&D)" who have strong
knowledge on core subjects.

Job Profile :
1. Shall involve in Designing & Development of Embedded Systems (Product
Development), Avionics Systems, Electric Vehicle Engineer Control Unit, Power Train,
Battery Charger, Power Electronics Products and Signalling Systems.

2. Shall be ready to take up challenges in designing and developing very complex

products.

3. Redesign existing products and to work in a collaborative environment with the other
stake holders.

4. Involving in Product Life Cycle Management.

5. Develop ideas for, manage and lead projects until its completion.

Prerequisites:

1. Analytical and logical ability

2. Multitasking

3. Lateral Thinking

4. Very Strong knowledge on core subjects

Job Location : Hyderabad

Salary Offered : 5.16 Lakhs per annum

Training Period : Six Months ( Biannual Increments)

Educational Qualification : B.E/B.Tech 2025 passing out batch

Branch : ECE, EEE, CSE and Mechanical.

Cut off Criteria :
1. For branches ECE, CSE and Mechanical 70% or above and without history of
backlogs all through the academics (10th, Inter/Diploma & Engineer).

2. For branch EEE 65% or above (BTech) and without history of backlogs and 70%
or above all through the academics (10th, Inter/Diploma (we are requesting them for
Engineering)).

Skills : Good subject knowledge in their discipline, Good Analytical and Programming
skills.
Joining : After successful completion of the final semester (By June 2025)
