The goal of this assignment is to increase your awareness and understanding of who you are.

By examining
your past and looking ahead to your future, you will gain a better understanding of who you are now and who
you want to be in the future.
1. INTRODUCTION – The student life project consists of a map that follows the most important
objectives of your Life, so it works as a guide to achieving all these goals. It is a very personal
document, which helps you to have a more concrete image of the future you want to build for yourself.
Explain briefly what you want to achieve doing this paper. (You can use an English phrase that you like
and inspires you as an introduction of your project).

2. OBJECTIVES

3. CHAPTER 1: Autobiography - An autobiography is a nonfiction story of a person’s life, written from


their point of view. (You can use photos, timelines or videos)

4. CHAPTER 2: Who I am - Write a short description of your values, talents, skills, strengths, interests
and weaknesses.
• What are your strengths and weaknesses?
• What are you good at? (skills/abilities)
• What personal values guide your behavior?
• What is your personality type? (traits/characteristics/styles)
• What are you most proud of?

5. CHAPTER 3: Set and prioritize your goals. Set your concrete goals. Define the steps to achieve your
goals. Identify the issues and perform a risk assessment. Think about what you would like to be included
in your life. Consider these questions:

• What employment/career would you like to have?


• What education or training will you have?
• How will you be involved in your community?
• What volunteer activities will you be doing?
• What family will you have around you?
• How will you support the relationships you have with your family? (How will you treat one another?
• What traveling will you do? (Where? For how long?)
• Where will your home be? (In the City? Suburbs? Country?)
• What interests and hobbies will you have?
• Will you incorporate spirituality/faith into your life? How?
• What sports or fitness will you do?
• What skills or abilities will you have?
• What kind of person will you be? (What would your friends, family and neighbors say about you?
• How will you continue to learn and grow intellectually?

6. CHAPTER 4: Language skills. - Speaking one or more languages has many benefits. language skills
decide if you get a job or not. Employers fancy multilingual professionals but will settle for someone
who has a good command of a single language. In this chapter, you are going to make a list of jobs you
know require a foreign language, and you have to explain why it is important to achieve speaking
competence in another language.

7. CHAPTER 5: My future plans – Describe your plans related to studies, family, job, business, and
travel.

Choose one career that you would like to study. Do research about the educational program that you would like
to take, it can be at the university, technological or technical level. Look for information about places where the
program is offered, costs, admission requirements, advantages and disadvantages of taking it, employment
options (fields where you can perform), and abilities or skills that are necessary to get good performance.
Consider these questions:

• What does the job or the educational program involve? (Include demonstration, pictures, or videos if
appropriate)
• What personal qualities / abilities does the job or the educational program require?
• What skills / qualifications do you need?
• Do you need to speak a foreign language?
• What school subjects are useful for the job?

Decide what kind of product you will create. Include three or more photographs that express something about
you and who you are. Your presentation can be in a format of your choosing and should highlight the main
aspects of your life proposal.
