World’s End

Russia and the United States of America have successfully become the most dominant
countries globally. With the U.S. conquering the majority of the Western hemisphere, and
Russia taking up the East. As the last remaining lands lie within each other's grasp, the
specter of all-out war looms large on the horizon.

Starvation and poverty ravage the populace, while those in power view them as nothing
more than expendable pawns in their pursuit of dominance

Yet, amidst the darkness and despair, a flicker of hope remains. Deep within the Arctic's
frozen expanse, far from civilization's prying eyes, a sanctuary emerges. Here, beneath the
icy wasteland, a disparate coalition of refugees, soldiers, and elite military contractors has
come together with a singular purpose: to resist the oppression of their oppressors and
fight for their freedom.
Game Rules

This is a roleplay and battle-heavy variation on 5e set in a modern world, meaning there are
major changes in how things work.

Character Creation:

Players create characters using a dice-rolling system to determine their attributes (Strength,
Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma).

Players select a class and customize their character's skills, abilities, and equipment based on
their chosen class.

Game Mechanics:

Resolve actions using a d20 (twenty-sided die) roll, with modifiers based on the character's
attributes, skills, and equipment.

Combat encounters use a turn-based system, with initiative determining the order of actions.
Damage is calculated based on the weapon used, with modifiers for critical hits, armor, and other
factors.

Skills and Abilities:

Characters have a set of skills and abilities based on their class and background, which they can
use to overcome challenges and obstacles.

Skills may include combat skills (such as marksmanship or hand-to-hand combat), technical
skills (such as hacking or engineering), social skills (such as persuasion or intimidation), and
survival skills (such as navigation or first aid).

Adventuring and Exploration:

Players explore the world, uncovering hidden locations, encountering NPCs (non-player
characters), and completing quests and objectives.

Exploration may involve navigating urban environments, wilderness areas, and underground
bunkers, facing hazards such as hostile wildlife, environmental dangers, and enemy patrols.
Progression and Advancement:
Characters gain experience points through completing quests, defeating enemies, and achieving
objectives.

As characters level up, they gain access to new abilities, skills, and equipment options, allowing
them to become more powerful and versatile as the game progresses.

Weaponry:
Merchants are your friends. They will provide you with weaponry. From ranged weapons
like snipers to up-close shotguns, to survive in this brittle world, arming yourself would
be a good idea. Bartering, quest loot, ground loot, and loot from enemies will help you
level up in this experience.

CLASS SHEET

CLERIC
transforms into the Medic, a compassionate healer and spiritual guide who provides aid to
those in need. Armed with medical supplies and a sidearm for protection, the Medic
serves on the front lines of emergency response, providing first aid to the injured and
comfort to the afflicted. Whether they're a paramedic, a combat medic, or a humanitarian
worker in a war-torn region, the Medic is a beacon of hope and healing in a world
plagued by violence and suffering.
Druid (Environmental Activist):

DRUID
becomes the Environmental Activist, a passionate advocate for nature and the
preservation of the planet. Armed with knowledge of ecology and sustainability, as well
as a shotgun or rifle for protection against poachers and environmental threats, the
Environmental Activist fights to protect endangered habitats and wildlife. Whether
they're organizing protests, conducting scientific research, or engaging in direct action to
halt deforestation or pollution, the Environmental Activist is dedicated to safeguarding
the natural world for future generations.

BARBARIAN
In the modern world, the Barbarian becomes the Brute, a fierce and primal warrior who
relies on raw strength and instinct to overcome obstacles. Armed with heavy firearms or
melee weapons like a sledgehammer or combat knife, the Brute charges into battle with
reckless abandon, shrugging off bullets and injuries as if they were nothing. They excel in
close-quarters combat and are often found leading the charge in dangerous situations.
Bard (Influencer):

BARD
becomes the Influencer in the modern era, a charismatic and versatile individual skilled in
persuasion, deception, and social manipulation. Armed with a silver tongue and a
concealed firearm for protection, the Influencer navigates the complexities of urban life
with finesse and charm. Whether they're charming their way past security guards,
gathering intel from informants, or rallying allies with inspiring speeches, the Influencer
knows how to work a crowd and get what they want.
FIGHTER
transforms into the Soldier, a disciplined and highly-trained combatant with expertise in
modern firearms and military tactics. Whether they're a veteran of special forces or a
skilled mercenary, the Soldier is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Armed
with assault rifles, sniper rifles, or heavy machine guns, they excel in marksmanship,
combat maneuvers, and strategic planning. In a world of conflict and chaos, the Soldier
stands as a bastion of strength and resilience.

PALADIN
takes on the role of the Lawkeeper in the modern age, a righteous enforcer of justice and
order armed with a badge and a sidearm. Whether they're a dedicated police officer, a
federal agent, or a vigilante seeking to uphold the law, the Lawkeeper is unwavering in
their commitment to righteousness. They use their training in combat and investigation to
root out crime and corruption, protecting the innocent and punishing the guilty with
unwavering resolve.

RANGER
becomes the Survivalist, a rugged and resourceful outdoorsman who thrives in the
wilderness and urban jungle alike. Armed with a rifle or shotgun and a keen eye for
survival, the Survivalist is adept at tracking targets, navigating terrain, and living off the
land. Whether they're a hunter, a tracker, or a wilderness guide, the Survivalist is at home
in nature and ready to face any challenge that comes their way.

ROGUE
evolves into the Infiltrator, a stealthy and agile operative skilled in infiltration, sabotage,
and subterfuge. Armed with silenced pistols, lockpicks, and cutting-edge technology, the
Infiltrator excels at slipping past security systems, bypassing alarms, and extracting
valuable information without leaving a trace. Whether they're a spy, a thief, or a corporate
saboteur, the Infiltrator is a master of deception and evasion, always one step ahead of
their enemies.

MONK
is reimagined as the Martial Artist, a disciplined and highly-trained combatant who
combines martial arts prowess with modern weaponry. Whether they're a practitioner of
traditional martial arts or skilled operatives trained in hand-to-hand combat, the Martial
Artist is a formidable opponent in any fight. Armed with their fists, feet, and perhaps a
concealed firearm for emergencies, they move with grace and precision, striking with
deadly accuracy and unmatched speed.
ARTIFICER
The artificer is a visionary scientist and inventor, skilled in the art of crafting and engineering.
With a keen intellect and a passion for innovation, they push the boundaries of what is possible
through the power of technology and ingenuity. From advanced robotics and cybernetic
enhancements to cutting-edge weaponry and high-tech gadgets, the artificer's creations are a
testament to their skill and creativity.
