TO RECEIVE AN ASSOCIATES' DEGREE OR A CERTIFICATE A STUDENT MUST:
(1) Twenty-five percent of the credit hours required for
graduation in any degree program or certificate must be
earned through instruction (not credit-by-examination)
at Dallas College.

(2) Complete the minimum credits required for this program.
(3) For all Academic degrees (AA & AS) students must have a
cumulative grade point average of 2.00 based on all
college level course work which includes transfer credits.
Must have a GPA of 2.00 or higher listed below in both
Institutional GPA and the Combined GPA.
(4) The AAT degrees requires either 2.50 or 2.75 cumulative
GPA based on all college level course work which includes
transfer credits. Must have a GPA of 2.50 or higher as
listed below in both Institutional GPA and the Combined GPA.
(5) For all Applied degrees and Certificates students must have a
cumulative grade point average of 2.00 based only on the
credit hours used to meet degree/certificate requirements.
(6) Meet all State of Texas Success Initiative requirements
or be exempt or waived.
(7) If you plan to transfer to a 4-year institution, you must
consult the catalog of that institution to ensure that
selected courses and grades earned will both transfer and
apply toward the intended major. SEE AN ADVISOR FOR THE
APPROPRIATE COURSE SELECTION AND GRADE REQUIREMENT!
(8) CORE CURRICULUM requirements cannot be substituted in the
Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees.
(9) No substitutions are allowed in the Associate of Arts in
Teaching, Fields of Study, and Emphasis degrees.
(10) Must be enrolled in the catalog year selected.
