SCENE-1
LOCATION: ARABIAN SEA

OPENING SEQUENCE
All aquatic animals engage in appropriate activities under the sea
day in and day out. Repeat the actions 2 times
CRAB 1: We do the same things over and over!
CRAB 2: Yes! This is no fun!
PUFFER FISH 1: What is wrong in the routine?
PUFFER FISH 2: Yes! Everything is in control here.
SEA HORSE 1: But, we need to have some fun too!
SEA HORSE 2: Yeah! Lets throw a party!
The aquatic animals start dancing on music. On signal a Shark
family enters and all fishes FREEZE with horrified expressions.
JELLY FISH 1: Wwwhhhooo invited the SHARKS!!! (Scared)
JELLY FISH 2: They are not friendly!
STAR FISH 1: Calm down Jelly!
STAR FISH 2: I am sure the turtles can think of a solution!
TURTLE 1: Oh! Indeed, we do, we always do!
TURTLE 2: I have an idea to make the sharks our friends!
Turtles turn the music on and play Baby Shark the first part
and the music stops. The sharks look stern.
BABY SHARK 1: You have great taste in music!
BABY SHARK 2: We would love to play with you all!
All start dancing together.
SCENE 2

JELLY FISH 1: (with a worried expression) I wonder where everyone is!
JELLY FISH 2: Oh! There are the Sea Horses.
SEA HORSE 1: What a wonderful day to have FUN!
SEA HORSE 2: Yes, the Ocean is calm and the weather is perfect
(They all come in the center and sing)
All : We like Swimming in the deep blue sea
This is the place we love to be
Up and Down, Round and Round
There is no better place to be found.
CRAB 1: (with antics) Come, let us go for an adventure today.
CRAB 2 : I am always ready for some excitement.
ALL: But where will weee goooo?
TURTLE 1: (In a mysterious voice) Have you guys been to the cave?
TURTLE 2: Yes the cave! It is in the deep dark waters.
BABY SHARK 1: Ooh, that sounds exciting!
BABY SHARK 2: Let us go and explore.
STAR FISH 1: The water there is not good for my skin!
STAR FISH 2: Yes! Our skin is very delicate you know!
PUFFER FISH 1: Haha! Are you scared to go ?
STAR FISHES: No ! Not at all!
PUFFER FISH 2: I have heard that the Giant Octopus who lives in that
cave!
TURTLE 1: Everyone is scared of the Giant Octopus.
TURTLE 2: He has eight long tentacles.
CRABS: These are all stories; they are not true!
JELLY FISHES: But our parents have asked us not to go far from our
home.
SEA HORSES: Don’t worry we will protect you!
BABY SHARKS: Alright. Let’s go!
All swim and exit on music
SCENE-3
LOCATION: THE CAVE IN THE DARK WATERS
CHARACTERS:
JELLY FISH
SEA HORSE
PUFFER FISH
BABY SHARK
CRAB
TURTLE
STAR FISH
GIANT OCTOPUS
All fishes enter the cave on music. The giant octopus is on the
rostrum
CRAB 1: Wow! This cave is so beautiful.
CRAB 2: Look at the coral reefs!
STAR FISH 1: There’s nothing great about this place.
STAR FISH 2: It’s too dark! I prefer the bright sunlight.
BABY SHARK 1: Shhhhh! Friends speak softly
BABY SHARK 2: Remember the Giant Octopus?
JELLY FISH 1: This place is very scary.
JELLY FISH 2: Let’s go back home! Please!
SEA HORSE: You are safe as long as you are with me.
PUFFER FISH 1: Someone’s coming this way. Quiet.
PUFFER FISH 2: [ speaks in a squeak] It must be the Octopus. Help!
Help! RUN everyone!
TURTLE: Quiet everyone! Let’s hide under the coral reefs!
On music the Octopus wakes up and starts to move. All fishes hide
OCTOPUS 1: What is all this noise?
OCTOPUS 2: Who has woken me up?
OCTOPUS 1 & 2:
I am the Giant Octopus
I live in the sea so blue
When the Little fish see me
They don’t know what to do
With my eight long tentacles
I move around the place.
And sometimes I use them
To scare the small fish away.
He He hah ha ha ha
On music, Octopus moves on the stage scaring the fish.
SCENE-4
LOCATION: THE CAVE IN THE DARK WATERS
CHARACTERS:

PUFFER FISH
BABY SHARK
CRAB
TURTLE
STAR FISH
GIANT OCTOPUS
All fishes are downstage and the Octopus is upstage searching for
them.
CRAB 1: Now, what shall we do?
JELLY FISH 1: Hurry! Let’s run back home!
SEA HORSE: Don’t worry, I am still here.
PUFFER FISH 1: Your tiny arms are no match to the Octopus.
STAR FISH 1: [ almost in tears] I want my mama and papa.
BABY SHARK 1: Stop making so much noise!
OCTOPUS 1 & 2: Whaaaat is all this noise?
SEA HORSE: We can’t be scared of the Giant octopus all our lives.
BABY SHARK 2: Sea Horse is right. Wise Mr. Turtle please tell us what to
do?
TURTLE: HMMMM, Do you all remember the golden saying – ‘Unity is
strength?’
ALL: What do you mean?
TURTLE: When we work together, we will be stronger than the Octopus!
STAR FISH 2: Yes! Let us become one and scare away the Giant
Octopus.
All: Together we are ten,
Come and face us
With your eight tentacles
You cannot scare us
All fishes surround the Octopus in a semi-circle on music
OCTOPUS: So many of you? Please don’t hurt me
CRAB 2: It’s time you got a taste of your own medicine.
JELLY FISH 2: You scared us!
OCTOPUS 1 & 2: Oh no! I am sorry… Now I understand.
PUFFER FISH 2: Together we are stronger than you!
OCTOPUS 1: I don’t want to be your enemy.
OCTOPUS 2: Can we be friends?
All look at each other and think.
TURTLE: But you have to make a promise not to trouble us.
OCTOPUS 1 & 2: I promise, I will never trouble anyone again!
BABY SHARKS: All right, Come and join us.
All: We will always remember the old saying: Divided we Fall. United we
Stand!
All fishes and Octopus sing the unity song
