Designer Note About Construction…The shawl is worked from

the top down. You’ll start with a tab, pick up a few stitches, and
then work the body of the shawl. This is an ideal pattern since you
can stop any time, or when you run out of yarn. Keep in mind that
if you want to make the shawl larger, you’ll need to purchase more
yarn.

Begin
Tab: CO 3 sts. Knit 6 rows, but do not turn on last row. Instead, rotate the piece 90 degrees and pick up and knit 3 sts along
the side edge of the tab, turn another 90 degrees and pick up and knit 3 sts along the CO edge.

Finishing
Block shawl to measurements.
I prefer wet-blocking my shawl.
Wet-block by submerging it in luke-warm water and your favorite wool wash.
Leave it soaking for 10-15 minutes.

Gently squeeze out the excess water and roll the shawl in towels to get as much moisture out as possible.

Reshape to measurements and let the shawl air dry. Weave in all ends.
