In today’s society, it is thought that people tend to live in small families instead of big families.
In fact, they like better to live in a nuclear family in modern society. From my standpoint, this
issue has positive and negative sides. This essay will discuss several benefits and drawbacks of
this issue.

On the one hand, one of the most prominent advantages of living in a nuclear family is to have
more freedom and privacy in a nuclear family. This means they can make their own decisions
about their lives. For example, kids can choose what they want to study or job without being
influenced by other people's opinions. Besides, privacy is really important in a nuclear family. It
helps everyone feel safe and comfortable at home. People can do things without being
bothered by others. the nuclear family setup gives everyone the space they need studying,
doing hobbies, or just relaxing. Thus, this freedom and privacy make everyone feel more
confident and able to rely on themselves.

On the other hand, the serious disadvantage of living in a nuclear family is to have a lack of old
people to share experience and skills. This means that in big families, older members often
serve as repositories of knowledge, having lived through various life challenges and
experiences. For instance, In extended families, grandparents and other older relatives often
impart practical skills, such as cooking, gardening, or handicrafts, to younger family members.
However, in small families, this wealth of experience is limited. As a result, they are fewer
opportunities for such intergenerational learning and skill-sharing, leading to a loss of cultural
identity and a diminished sense of community within the family.

In conclusion, this issue shows the benenfits and drawbacks of this issue, Its disadvatages
should be considered carefully for its impacts. Thus, people should take advantages of the pros
and minizine the cons of this issue.
