With reference to your application through NATS portal of Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) against our notification
for the position of Graduate Apprentice (Civil) for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act, please report for a

This call letter for DOCUMENT VERIFICATION / INTERVIEW is STRICTLY PROVISIONAL and you have been called
for the DOCUMENT VERIFICATION/INTERVIEW based on the information you have provided in your online
application. AS WE WILL BE ABLE TO VERIFY YOUR DOCUMENTS ONLY AT THE TIME OF DOCUMENT
VERIFICATION, PLEASE ENSURE THAT, YOU ARE ELIGIBLE AS PER THE DETAILED ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
MENTIONED BELOW AND NEED TO REPORT FOR DOCUMENT VERIFICATION / INTERVIEW ONLY IF YOU
SATISFY ALL THE ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
i) Your Date of Birth is between 01.09.1997 to 01.09.2006. (DOB between 01.09.1994 to 01.09.2006 for OBC
candidates and 01.09.1992 to 01.09.2006 for SC candidates and 01.09.1987 to 01.09.2006 for PwBD candidates).
ii) You possess Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering (Full time course) from recognized Indian University / Institute.
Candidates having Engineering Degree in any other discipline viz., Civil & Environmental Engg, Civil Engineering &
Planning, Civil Engineering stream with specialization in Habitat Development, Water Management, Public Health
environment etc., any other Engineering degree equivalent to Civil Engineering & AMIE in Civil Engg. etc. are NOT
eligible for consideration}.
iii) You have not undergone apprenticeship training or are not undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere under the
Apprentices Act.
iv) You should not have work experience of one year or more.
v) You should have passed the Engineering Degree (B.Tech / BE) Examination during 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023
or 2024
You are required to produce originals of all your certificates in proof of age, qualification (Engineering Degree
Certificate and consolidated mark list is compulsory), caste (applicable for SC, in the case of OBC candidates non-
creamy layer certificate from Government of India dated on or after 01.09.2024 issued by Tahsildar), one set of self-
attested photostat copies of all these certificates and one passport size colour photograph. If you are yet to receive the
original degree certificate, you should compulsorily produce provisional degree certificate and if consolidated mark list is
not available, mark list for all semesters has to be produced). If CGPA / OGPA / YGPA / DGPA criteria have been
adopted for your Engineering Degree Examination, you have to compulsorily produce documentary proof for the
equivalent percentage conversion formula applicable to your University / Institute as well as the calculation of
percentage applicable to you based on this conversion table. It shall be the sole responsibility of the candidate to
produce the Documentary proof of equivalent percentage / percentage conversion formula applicable to University
/ Institute, at the time of interview failing which your candidature shall be liable to be rejected without further
processing. Please note that, you will be further shortlisted for interview only if you are found eligible / suitable in
all respects on document verification. Please also note that, you will not be permitted to attend the interview if you
fail to submit the Engineering Degree Certificate, Mark List and the conversion table / calculation of your
CGPA / OGPA / YGPA / DGPA to equivalent percentage as mentioned above.

As per the data you have furnished in the online application you belong to OBC category and you have been invited for
document verification accordingly.
Please note that, for consideration against reserved category positions, SC category candidates should compulsorily submit
original and self-attested copy of the caste certificate in the prescribed format from a competent authority and OBC
candidates should submit non-creamy layer certificate (dated on or after 01.09.2024) for applying for posts under the
Government of India (Ref.W.R.No.12011/68/93/BCC (C) dated 10th September 1993) from a competent authority
(Tahsildar) that you do not belong to the Creamy Layer of the OBC community. If you fail to submit the applicable
documents your candidature will be cancelled and you will not be permitted to attend the interview. SC / OBC / PwBD
category candidates who meet with the eligibility criteria / standards applicable for General candidates are eligible for
consideration against unreserved positions.
If you belong to the physically Handicapped category-PwBD (degree of disability should be minimum 40%) you should
submit a copy of disability certificate in the prescribed format from a Medical Board constituted by the Government
Hospitals.
During the one year period of apprenticeship training, the apprentice will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.25,000/- p.m.
There is no obligation for you to serve the Corporation after your one year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices
Act nor any obligation for the Corporation to absorb you in employment after your one year apprenticeship training.
We will not be able to entertain any requests for changing the date and time of document verification / interview.
We will try to complete the interview on the same day, but for any reason if the same is extended to the next day,
you will have to be prepared for the same. If you are not attending the document verification/interview, the same
has to be confirmed in a mail to z_kr_training by or before 29.10.2024.
Please bring the duly filled Application Form for Apprenticeship Training (Format enclosed – take the print out in
A-4 sheet only), Original / Photocopies of the certificates / documents (List enclosed herewith), Curriculum Vitae
and a currently valid Photo Identity proof (viz., Aadhar card / PAN card / Passport / Driving License / Voter’s Card
etc.) in original. You will not be permitted to carry any Electronic / Bluetooth devices / Laptop inside our premises
including pen drive. However, one mobile phone will be permitted which shall be kept in switched off mode while
you are in our premises.
The mere fact that the call letter has been issued to you does not imply that your candidature has been accepted
by the Corporation. At the time of document verification, if it is found that, you have not submitted the necessary
documents or information furnished by you in the application is incorrect, your candidature is liable to be
cancelled forthwith, with such further action as the Corporation would like to take. Please note that this letter does
not constitute an offer of Apprenticeship training to you and BPCL-Kochi Refinery shall also not be responsible for any
delay or non-delivery of this letter through E-mail. Please quote your roll number for all future correspondence.
PLEASE NOTE THAT, ANY FORM OF CANVASSING WILL DISQUALIFY A CANDIDATE.

d) Certificates of additional qualification, if any.
e) Caste Certificate (for SC category candidates).
f) Non-creamy Layer Certificate (for OBC category candidates) applicable for applying posts under the Government of India.
g) Disability Certificate in case of PwBD candidates

8. NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (applicable for those who are presently working in a Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector
Undertaking).

IT IS COMPULSORY TO BRING ALL THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS FOR VERIFICATION. YOU ARE ALSO REQUESTED TO PRODUCE THE
DOCUMENTS IN THE ORDER MENTIONED ABOVE. IF YOU FAIL TO SUBMIT ANY OF THE APPLICABLE CERTIFICATES/ DOCUMENTS YOU
