Human Resource Proposal

Introduction and Background

Dear Mr/Ms C.E.O:

As I hope this proposal finds you well, it is essentially an esteemed pleasure to having been

bestowed the opportunity to join your massive team of employees at “Renon” Corporation in the

Human Resource department. “Renon” Corporation has proven quite a force to be reckoned with

in the society with which has been depicted through its rapid growth. Involvement with the

department has brought to my attention the issue at hand affecting the way in how employees at

the corporation are to oversee their day-to-day duties. As we have come to be aware, the

Coronavirus pandemic brought about with-it numerous alterations to the normal functioning of

human beings’ activities. The global workforce as a whole took a sizeable dive and effect as

working from home became the new normal in many institutions. With management of the virus

having been established and global sanity being restored, several employees and employers have

resumed their placing at their organizations. The main objective of this proposal is to bring about

the possibility of employees to be availed with the freedom to define a befitting working

association with the corporation that will suit every individual. Despite being a new employee, it

is my hope that my message will not pass across as being too forward and be negatively

perceived by you or your associates.

Solutions

The lack of a comprehensive time limit on the eradication of the COVID-19 or a defined cure

has led to uncertainty on many workers on how to resume operations at their organizations. The

issue at hand, as has been the similarly identified in many other entities, pertains the

establishment of a defined working scheduling in “Renon” Corporation. An efficient schedule

and program results in a harmonious working area leading to sufficient productivity, output and

general growth. Some of the ways that have been employed to address the issue associated with

smooth transition back to work include working from home, full-time returning to the office and

use of a blended working schedule. In reference to the issue at hand, consultation should be

immediately initiated with the employees at the corporation to relate with their position on how

best to undertake their duties. Furthermore, I propose that different views and preferences of the

employees should be invoked and considered to ascertain the intended result that will benefit all

parties.

I recognize that as an organization we are bound to face several challenges in the day-to-day

operations of our employees and therefore I have derived a few essential considerations to be

engaged. The management should make a point of meeting up with every single employee as an

individual and comprehend the location each and every one of them best delivers and feels most

comfortable. Remote working which is also referred to as distance working has for years now

proven to be a productive working formula and channel that should be pursued so long as a

worker’s environment proves conducive enough. With proper research, I propose that

management and human resource department follow up on the differences displayed in work

input and output in the duration that employees worked from the office and worked from home.

The vital reasons as to why employees should work from the office include the preservation of

office culture and increased collaboration with co-workers. The office environment also enables

for enhancement of relationships built between colleagues while also allowing for training and

development opportunities. Working from home has showcased to be quite time and cost saving

while also eliminating the need for constant commute to workplaces that are far away. The

working from home directive is quite commendable because it also allows for employees to

spend more time with their families which could prove positive for their general health.

Therefore, with reference to all possibilities, I propose an introduction and implementation of a

blended working schedule which allows for flexibility for every employee. The blended working

schedule allows for employees to define their tasks, ways of working, which is either on-site or

off-site and also determines the contractual agreements or whether the employment is temporary

or permanent. Moreover, significant productivity has been denoted in institutions, corporations

and organizations that have settled on engaging with a scheduled working system of operations.

Closing Statement

As highlighted, the coronavirus brought with it a change in how the world and other events are

overseen in our society today. Most corporations and other working entities have had to adopt to

different working arrangements that were previously not entertained or considered pre-COVID.

Therefore, it is crucial that every organization ensures that their employees are well-placed to to

their preferred working situation to enable utmost productivity. Extensive research on the issue at

hand and my understanding of the human resource field has demonstrated to me that the

proposed solution of a blended working schedule would not prove to be costly to this

corporation. A call to action is necessary to address the issues affecting the comfort and

flexibility of employees at any corporation. Establishment of a harmonious working environment

that suits every employee ensures that the corporation avoids any potential or arising problems

that could affect its normal functioning. Even though I realize that you must discuss this proposal

with your board members, kindly take advantage and put the matter forward to them for their

consideration as the welfare of workers is quite a sensitive issue to any corporation.
