HS Procure AL-SB
Scope Procure AL SB is ready to use, aluminised, synthetic resin-based curing
compound for the
prevention of premature water loss from concrete.
Procure AL SB is sprayed on to the newly laid concrete surfaces to form a
thin barrier against
premature water loss. Without disturbance to the normal setting action the
concrete is then allowed to cure and achieve maximum properties.
Procure AL SB conforms to ASTM C-309.81, Type 2 and BS 7542.

• Retaining walls / columns / roofs / decks.
• Canals, dams, water channels and other water retaining structure.
• All concrete structure like retaining walls, columns, roofs.

Application Surface Preparation
Methodology • The concrete surface must be clean and free of standing water. Remove
any sealer or
other material that may prevent absorption of the ProCure AL SB.
➢ Material Preparation
• Stir Procure AL SB by a slow speed mixture fitted with a suitable mixing
paddle to ensure a homogenous mix.
➢ Application of Material
• Start the spray application only after initial set of concrete i.e when green
concrete is just moist.
• Apply Procure AL SB by spray with a pressure of 50 – 60 psi spray
machine.
• After application the area must be protected from rain for at least 2 – 3
hrs.
• Allow Procure AL SB to dry 4-6 hrs before exposure to traffic.
• For best cure of freshly placed concrete, apply Procure AL SB as soon
as possible after finishing operations and / or immediately after the
disappearance of the “sheen” of surface moisture.
• Do not apply
➢ To concrete surfaces at ambient temperature below 4 OC. Warm
material to a
minimum temperature of 10 OC before use.
➢ Over bleed water or free-standing water.
➢ Precautions
• Mixing water is totally prohibited.
• In case of change over from Water Based to Solvent Based, the
application equipment
including intermediary storage tank, must be thoroughly cleaned by
Berger Thinner to prevent any clogging
Cleaning • Clean tools and equipment with Berger Thinner before the material
& Maintenance hardens.
• Do not use water to clean any tool or equipment.
Precautions • Mixing water is totally prohibited.
• In case of change over from Water Based to Solvent Based, the
application equipment including intermediary storage tank, must be
thoroughly cleaned by Berger Thinner to prevent any clogging.
