TOURNAMENT RULEBOOK & GUIDELINES

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1. In order to join our Tournament and be eligible to win a prize, the team represents and
warrants that the team (“Participant”) satisfies the following eligibility criteria:

1. The Participant acknowledges to be a natural person aged 16 years or older at the time of
the Tournament (see exception below), and, if the Participant is under the age of 18 years or
the age of majority in the Participant’s country of residence, the Participant is participating in
this Tournament under the active. supervision of a parent or legal guardian (“Guardian”) who
has read and agreed to these Terms on the Participant’s behalf.
2. The Tournament is only open to citizens and current residents of India. Please note that
the organiser is not liable in case Participants are not legally allowed to take part in the
Tournament due to national or local laws. Please note that the official language of the
Tournament will be English and that all interactions with the organiser, including these
Terms, the registration, and further instructions in the course of the Tournament, will
generally be in the English language. Any translations are provided as a matter of courtesy
only.
3. Directors, officers, and employees of the organiser, its parent, and any of their respective
affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, any company involved in the development or
production of the Tournament, professional advisors, third-party service providers or
advertising and promotional agencies involved with the Tournament, and immediate family
members and those living in the same household of such persons (whether legally related or
not) are not eligible to enter or win any prizes in the Tournament.

1.2. Only one entry per person is allowed. Further, only natural persons are allowed to
participate.

1.3. The organiser reserves the right to verify the email address provided to the organiser by
the Participant and to require proof of age, identity, and/or other provided details at any time
at its discretion. In the event of any dispute, entries containing an invalid e-mail address or
incorrect data regarding the age or residence of the Participant will be deemed ineligible.

1.4.The Tournament will be run at the organiser’s sole discretion. The organiser’s decision in
relation to all matters in connection with the Tournament is final, and no correspondence will
be entered into.

2. TOURNAMENT PERIOD

2.1. The tournament will start on October (11th October ) and will end on 27th October.This
is an online tournament.
2.2. Subject to local statutory law and except in the case of discretionary cancellation, delay,
or postponement of the Tournament by the organiser, hence in case of any cancellation,
delay, or postponement of the Tournament for a reason outside the organiser's sphere of
influence, be it force majeure,government orders, or circumstance under which organiser
cannot with reasonable means guarantee Participants’ safety or health. A Tournament may
be canceled, delayed, postponed, or otherwise changed for any reason, including, without
limitation, severe weather or other factors that threaten the safety of participants, staff, or
volunteers. The government officials may mandate cancellation, delay, postponement, or
change of nature or format of a Tournament or otherwise be at the discretion of the
organiser. The organiser reserves the right to change the details of the Tournament, such as
the date, start time, and/ amenities offered in connection with the Tournament.

3. RULES OF THE GAME


Game-Specific Rules - Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)

3.1. Definitions of Terms


3.1.1. “Round”
In the game, up to 64 players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and
equipment to finish others while avoiding getting finished themselves. The available safe
area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter
areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.

3.1.2. “Map”
The Maps are the playable area where players are pitted against each other in
BATTLEGROUNDS.

3.2 Roster Lock


Teams participating will not be allowed to change/add or remove a player from their roster at
any point between the tournament with oraganizer’s approval.

3.3 Match Settings

3.4 Player Eligibility


Participants must submit all the required information like BGMI Character ID, BGMI
Nickname, Full Name, ID Proof, Phone Number, Email ID, Age, City, etc. to register.
The character ID is needed to invite players into a custom match and to check if the
registered player is playing.
Players Below 16 years of age cannot compete/ Participate in the tournament
3.5 Schedule
Teams will be given schedule prior to their matches through social media/ discord

3.5.1 Map Rotation


Scoring System: Teams earning points based on (i) their final rank and (ii) the number of
finishes achieved in each match (see table below).

Each finish grants 1 point.

Game Tiebreaker: Ties between two Teams during the Competition will be determined in the
order of (a) total times of winning the first placement across all Tournament Games; (b) total
accumulated placement points across all Tournament Games; (c) total accumulated kills
across all Tournament Games; and (d) placement in the most recent match of the
Tournament.

3.6 Game Settings

3.6.1. General Settings


The organisers will create the lobby for each match. The organisers will invite teams in the
lobby to start the match. For each match, the organisers define the gameplay settings by
tournament settings.

3.6.2 No bugs or glitches allowed.


Players shall not use any bugs or glitches known by the esports community, whether or not
specifically mentioned in the Official Ruleset. In the event the organiser determines that a
participant voluntarily used a bug and/or a glitch that gave an unfair advantage, the
organiser may decide to either return to the state of the game before the bug or glitch
occurred (if possible) or inflict a penalty or direct removal from the tournament. The
organiser determines at its sole discretion if the bug or glitch has been voluntarily or
involuntarily used.

3.6.3. Remake or Replay of Tournament Games


Officials should be notified of any technical malfunction or other emergency immediately.
Tournament Games shall be remade only pursuant to the request of the Tournament
organiser. The Tournament organiser may remake a Tournament Game under the following
circumstances:
● Technical malfunctions or If multiple player disconnects (excluding malfunctions and
disconnects as a result of a player’s mistake or fault) within 120 seconds after a player lands
on the battlefield
● A problem occurs during the loading screen and the game cannot be loaded
● Multiple players are unable to enter the Tournament Game before the departure of the
starting
plane
● Some players are able to join a Tournament Game but start on the battlefield, without
flying on the starting plane and without parachuting
● 51% of players in the lobby face mic glitch or high ping issue

3.6.4. Communication with third-party.


Players are not allowed to communicate with any third party (including managers) during a
match. This restriction also includes obtaining information related to the match in progress
via external sources (e.g.: streaming channels, social networks, communication tools,...).
3.6.5. Records and Broadcast
Only the organiser is authorized to record and broadcast the Tournament, worldwide, on the
Internet, on television or on any other communication medium, known or unknown. Except
as otherwise permitted by the organisers, Players are not authorized to record or broadcast
the matches.

3.6.6 Forfeit
In the event that a team is unable to participate in a match, for any reason whatsoever, this
team will be considered forfeit for that match. A team considered forfeit for a match loses the
match.

3.7 Rules Changes


The organiser reserves the right to modify this Official Ruleset at any time, without any
obligation to follow a specific process beforehand, without notice, and without
consequences. The organiser agrees to contact the teams via all the usual communication
channels, including by e-mail or WhatsApp or any other communication tool, to inform them
of any modifications to the Tournament format or in case of a change to the times of any
matches.

3.8 Minimum users / No Show / Forfeit


Tournament teams must have a minimum of three eligible users in the lobby at the
designated time of their match. If not, then the team that does not have 3 or more players
will forfeit the matches.

3.9 Reschedules
Rescheduling of any match is not allowed in this tournament. It depends on the sole
discretion of the organisers.

3.10 Competitive Game Version


Matches will be played on the latest version designated by the Tournament Officials.

3.11 Role of Referee


The “Head Referee” is a Tournament Official who is responsible for the judgments on every
Match-related issue, question and situation which occurs before, during, and immediately
following Matchplay. Their oversight includes, but is not limited to:
● Checking the Team’s lineup before a Match.
● Checking and monitoring player peripherals and Match Areas, if applicable.
● Announcing the beginning of the Match.
● Ordering pause/resume during play..

3.12 Finality of Judgment.


All decisions regarding the interpretation of these rules, player eligibility, scheduling and
staging of the event, and penalties for misconduct lie solely with the Head Referee, the
decision of which is final.Head Referee decisions with respect to these Rules cannot be
appealed and shall not give rise to any claim for monetary damages or any other legal or
equitable remedy.

3.13 Pov and Handcams


All the Teams have to record their Ingame Pov Of matches and handcams , Teams failing to
provide Pov will Lead to point deduction of the particular Match i.e-
1. -5 for not Providing the pov for the Particular match
2. -5 For not providing the HandCams for the Particular Match
3. Not submitting Povs more the once will lead to disqualification from the tournament

4. THE organiser’S RIGHT TO CHANGE THE TERMS AND TO DISQUALIFY

4.1. To the extent permitted by law, and without affecting the statutory rights, if in the
organiser’s opinion the Tournament is compromised by any event beyond the organiser's
control (i.e. force majeure), the organiser reserves the right to modify, terminate, amend or
extend the Tournament without responsibility and liability for any amount or kind of loss or
damage that may result to them or any third party (whether direct or indirect).
4.2. At any time during the Tournament, the organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion
to disqualify and remove any Participants for any failure to observe these Terms (including
but not limited to, because the organiser believes the Participant engaged in cheating and in
general for violations of the provisions set out in these Terms) or where applicable any other
kind of illegal or inappropriate behavior. In the event that a winning Participant is disqualified,
the prize will be forfeited and/or maybe awarded to an alternate winner.
5. FAIR PLAY

5.1. The team hereby confirms that the Personal Data that the team enters in connection
with the Tournament is accurate and up to date. When the team enters the Personal Data of
their team members, they thereby confirm that they have previously obtained their consent
and that this consent has not been withdrawn.
5.2.The team here by warrants and represents that the team personally performed and
otherwise participated in the Tournament to meet the eligibility criteria set in these Terms
associated with their entry or by their own creation of other materials such as user-generated
content as specified in these Terms and that they have not used any prohibited aids, such as
automatic robots, scripts, services or other forms of manipulation. By entering this
Tournament, all participants warrant and represent that their entries are their own fully
original creations, and their respective entries will not infringe or violate the rights of any third
parties, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and/or rights of publicity/privacy.

6. GRANT OF RIGHTS

6.1. The organiser or third parties as it may authorize from time to time will be entitled to
capture and use audio recordings, video recordings, and photographs, from the Tournament
(“Material”) and to use their name, image, voice, appearance, performance and biographical
Material for any purpose (be it commercial, promotional or otherwise) in all media, forever.

6.2. The organiser will be enabled to use, broadcast, screen, display, reproduce and/or make
available to the public the Material in any and all media, including but not limited to radio,
television, cinemas, events, data carriers, and the worldwide web. The organiser will be
entitled to make any alterations, intermissions, cuts, or other modifications in and to the
Material and to use such altered Material without restrictions. Furthermore, the organiser is
allowed to transfer the granted rights to any third party. The team is aware of the fact that
they won’t have the right to approve any of the Material. The team understands that they
might not be named as a Participant in the tournament and do not expect to gain financially
from their appearance in any Tournament-related Material.

6.3. Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and the organiser
reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs, and audio
and/or visual recordings of them in any promotional material.

7. Player Conduct:

7.1 High Standards for Professionals


All Teams and Team Members must at all times observe the highest standards of personal
integrity and good sportsmanship. Team Members are required to behave in a professional
and sportsmanlike manner in their interactions with other competitors, the Tournament
organiser, the media, sponsors, and fans.

7.2 Competitive Integrity


All Teams and Team Members are expected to compete to the best of their skill and ability at
all times in any Tournament Game. Tournament organisers hold the right to penalize a team
if found guilty in any case at their discretion
7.3 Compliance
Players must follow the instructions of the tournament administration at all times. Failure in
doing so can lead to disqualification from the tournament.

7.4 Exploiting
A player may not utilize any exploits during tournament games. Exploiting is defined as
intentionally using any in-game bug to seek an advantage.

7.5 Drugs and Alcohol


The use, possession, distribution or sale of controlled substances, such as drugs or alcohol,
or being under the influence of such controlled substances, is strictly prohibited while a Team
Member is engaged in any Tournament or other event or on-premises that are owned by or
leased to the Tournament organiser. The unauthorized use or possession of prescription
drugs by a Team Member is prohibited. Prescription drugs may be used only by the person
to whom they are prescribed and in the manner, combination, and quantity as prescribed.
Prescription drugs may only be used to treat the condition for which they are prescribed and
may not be used to enhance performance in a Tournament Game. Each Team Member is
required to report any violation of this rule to the Tournament organiser.

8. Communication and support:

8.1 Admins
All participants must adhere to the decisions and rules of the tournament organisers,
admins, and referees. All decisions are final, except in cases where the option to appeal is
clearly stated.

8.2 Cheating
Any form of cheating will not be tolerated. When cheating is uncovered the team in question
will immediately be removed from the tournament and banned from all competitions for 6
months. Players may be requested to install anti-cheat software on their devices for the
duration of the tournament.
Examples of cheating include, but are not limited to:

8.3 Match Fixing


Attempting to intentionally alter the results of a match by losing or otherwise trying to affect
the results.

8.4 Disqualification
organisers reserve the right to disqualify teams and players. Any team found to be using a
known exploit will forfeit their game upon the first occurrence of the exploit. If the team is
found to use another known exploit for a second time, and it is determined to have been
done on purpose, they will be removed from the event and barred from any future events.
Teams found not following the rules stated by the tournament organiser will not be allowed to
compete in the tournament.
8.4.1 As the Player is aware that he/she would be a role model for many and is a part of the
Tournament organized, he/ she confirms that he/she shall not indulge in any bad habits
including but not limited to:

i. Cheating
ii. Betting
iii. Violence
iv. Abuse
v. Racism
vi. Unsportsmanlike Conduct

8.4.2 The Player confirms that he/she shall not make, publish or communicate to any person
or entity in any online or otherwise public forum any defamatory or disparaging remark,
comment or issue a statement concerning the Tournament or its employees, officers,
directors, official investors or sponsors thereof.

8.4.3 The Team would be disqualified in the most severe cases of rule violations like
cheating, hacking, betting etc. organiser shall abide by the guidelines provided by the Game
publisher and/ or ESIC to determine the severity of the rule violation.

8.4.4 The disqualified Player as mentioned in under this Agreement forfeit all prize money
and salary payable to the Player under this Agreement.

Any Individual found conducting any offense will be considered as an offense by the team.
Penalty will be imposed on the team as a whole.

9. Event Obligation
Each player agrees to participate in media interviews, press briefings, streaming sessions,
sponsors, events, photo or video shoots, charitable events, webcasts, podcasts, chats, and
other media events that the Tournament organiser organize in connection with the marketing
and promotion of the Tournament (“Media Events”).

9.1 Important points


● After getting eliminated from the match, the player has to turn off their device. Players are
not allowed to watch/stream on a 3rd party app including youtube/or other streaming
platforms.
● Penalty for not following the rules depends on the sole discretion of the Tournament
organiser. Penalties may include, Deduction in the team’s total points, not allowing the
player/team to compete in tournament games/disqualification etc.

● Players have to follow the guidelines throughout the tournament..

10. Prize Money & Distribution


After the competition ends, team captains will be reached out to by email, and they will need
to provide their bank data to the organiser. All prize money will be paid out by the organiser,
after the tournament final has been completed and subject to proper submission of the
documents. The prize money is as stated, there are no alternative prizes; it is
non-transferable, non-negotiable, and the winners are responsible for all applicable taxes
and expenses. If a player is missing the proper payment information and makes no effort to
fix this, the prize money will not be paid out until this is rectified.

11. INTERPRETATION AND CONSTRUCTION

11.1 Revenant Esports Right of Interpretation


Any matters relating to the event that are not covered by these tournament Rules, will be
subjected to an interpretation made by the Tournament Operator and will provide to the
Teams from time to time in the form of an update to, or interpretation of, these tournament
Rules. All decisions made by the Revenant Esports and Tournament Officials in regards to
interpretations of these tournament Rules are final and binding.

11.2 Business Judgement


Whenever these tournament Rules grant, confirm or reserve to tournament organisers the
right to take action, refrain from taking action, grant or withhold consent or withhold approval
or make any other determination, unless the provision specifically states otherwise,
tournament organisers will have the right to engage in such activity in its sole discretion
based on its own business judgment, taking into consideration its assessment of the best
interests of the tournament organisers and the short and long term interests of the Official
Competition, the event, esports and the businesses and activities of the affiliates and group
companies of tournament organisers. Neither a Team nor a Team Member will have any
claim or cause of action based on an assertion that any Tournament Official has
unreasonably withheld or delayed any consent, approval, determination or other requested
action under these tournament Rules.
