VERIFIED PETITION FOR REPLEVIN, RECLAMATION, AND TORT ACTIONS
COMES NOW, Courtney Baird (“Baird” or “Plaintiff”), by and through her attorneys of
record, Alexandr Sprenger of Boston Avenue Law PLLC, and alleges and states as follows in
support of its claim against Defendant Wayside Waifs, Inc. (“Waifs”) and Defendants John Does
1-5.
1. Plaintiff is an individual residing in the State of Oklahoma.
2. Waifs is Missouri Nonprofit Corporation whose registered agent is, Kathryn
Mahoney located at 3901 Martha Truman Rd Kansas City, MO 64137-2808. This address is located
within in the geographical boundaries of Jackson County.
3. Plaintiff believes that further discovery will show that John Does 1-5 are unknown
persons to whom Waifs has either given or sold Plaintiff’s personal property.
4. Jurisdiction and venue are proper in this Court because the cause of action giving
rise to this Petition arose in Jackson County Missouri and Defendant is located in Jackson
Missouri.
