I started studying newspapers from three weeks of notice.it has been quite an experience.
When I was going to read the newspapers , at first it seemed to be very hard, but
eventually ,I got a hand of it .after few days I started learning many things and I
improved my learning skills ,and I got to know what is going around the world .

Boxing national trials-
On 19th of October 2022, grassroots promotions held the national trials event. Which Is
going to be followed by the nationals on 9th of December 2022. This event was held at the
jallahalli grand grounds. Event was split into two days. First day being the selections for the
main event which was held on the second day. And the second day consisting of pre quarter
finals 1 and 2, quarter finals 1, 2 and 3, semi finals 1, 2 and finals. There was the morning
session, held from 8am to 11am. Then afternoon session, from 2pm to 6pm. Then the
evening session, from 6-30pm to 9pm.
There were fighters who participated from all over the country. There was a very well known
international fighter who also participated here. It was important because winning this means
they get to play nationals and nationals to internationals and then straight to pro bouts. This
event was one of the worst organised events in boxing. There were no toilets/changing rooms
so the girls had to cover the others with towels. It was quite unfortunate but also, a very
action-packed gift to the audience’s eye because of all the extremely talented participants.
There were 600 bouts in total, which was split into 300 two-day sessions. Food was available
but not the best kind, manageable. A ruckus when it comes to the toilet, well, there were no
toilets so there’s that.
A very unexpected organisation from grassroots but an exquisite performance by the
participants which almost made the audience and participants forget about the event’s flaws.

Event- Raghu Dixit concert
Reporting piece- The event that i am reporting is about a concert that i attended of a famous
Indian singer RAGHU DIXIT on 16th October 2022 . The event took place in one of
Bengaluru's famous mall PHEONIX MARKETCITY . Raghu Dixit is a very well known
singer with a lot of recognisable hit songs and known for his distinct way of singing and his
persona on stage , the event had a footfall of about two thousand to three thousand people
approximately and was held around 8 in the night , most of the crowd consisted if teenagers
and college students , the show started off with a sound check with the band and introduction
of the band , The crowd went crazily wild as the show went on moving their selves and
vibing to their favourite songs , the band members played beautifully and had a very high
energy , the singer Raghu Dixit constantly engaged with the crowd and kept that enthusiasm
throughout, at last the concert ended with a famous song and the crowd dancing for the last
time, the band and the singer took a picture with the crowd and thanks everyone for their
time and leaves the stage.

Pro boxing event-
This was one of those “when you think you’re going to have the best time of your life but but
didn’t really end up the way you expected it” kind of experiences. Ugh, where do I start. The
experience for me was bad from the very beginning. So, the address was sent to us by the
association. But just as I had a hunch about the unfortunate future, it was wrong. The ground
was in jallahalli but there’s another ground in rt nagar and they had sent us that address. “by
mistake” they claim. The approaching time was 8am. I, as always woke up late, around 11.
And decided to go around 2. I wake and freshen up. Eat my breakfast and head to the
address. Turns out, my friends knew the actual address but didn’t send it to me thinking I
won’t go there. But I thought I’d surprise them by going a bit late. I book my cab and reach
this ground. It’s as empty as my plate after eating. Unbelievable almost because I leave a lot
of stuff on my plate after I eat. I call my friends and hear the wonderful news that it was the
wrong address. I was so bummed. More so because they were laughing at me and I went
further away from the actual destination so it would take me thrice the money and time to get
there. I didn’t want to go back if I’m being honest. When I’m moody, I need to get some food
inside me. So I ate some pani puri and said to myself that this event is going to be a once a
year experience and I can’t miss it for the world. I booked a rapido this time to save some
expenses and reached the ground finally. I could feel the energy of the event from a km away
because of all the traffic. Everyone wanted to witness the event. I luckily got in earlier than
expected because I knew the coach and had an ID proving so. And I was also extremely
lucky to have entered the event at the exact time the coach got into the ring to fight. He saw
me and shouted my name out to come stand next to the ring. I ran up. All my other friends
hyped me up, almost like I won a bout or something. but I knew they were just hyping me up
because I finally ended up coming, it was 4pm but that doesn’t matter, I was there. It wasn’t
his best fight but I saw him fight better than his last fight so kudos to that. Another friend of
mine, who’s my age and has 9yrs experience, was all hyped up and ready to fight. Can’t lie,
it was one of the most technical fight I’ve ever seen any of my friends fight. The way he
slowly dug up his opponent’s weakness and finished him in round 3 was mesmerizing.
Unfortunately, a friend of mine couldn’t fight because his origin was from the outskirts of
india and not india. And nor did he have his aadhar card done in time so he couldn’t fight, he
was extremely sad. He had prepared extremely well for this fight. And now the only chance

he has to fight again is next year, late summer. Which also means he has more time to
improve so hopefully he doesn’t get demotivated. i saw the international pro boxer fight. He
won medals in internationals events but he wanted to win one more time before he represents
india for his weightclass so he participated in the event. I thought he wouldn’t be all that
good of a boxer after all. I didn’t really understand his capacity till he fought. And honestly,
if I could watch all the three same fights he fought in this event a hundred times again, I
wouldn’t think twice. He didn’t look the part but definitely boxed like a pro boxer. No boxer
went over 2 minutes and 1 round with him. He was that good. Nobody even thought about it
but kudos to his opponents, they did really put up a show. From aggressive to keeping it
calm, he had it all in his skill locker. I wish to see him again sometime. Hopefully the
nationals don’t happen during the final sems!
Oh! There were no toilets. The participants had to do whatever they wanted to do inside the
tent. The girls had no place to change so they had other older women hold towels around the
girls so they can change. The boys didn’t really care, changed up wherever they could. There
are moments where you can feel like you wish you didn’t go at all, but from an audience
perspective, it was a treat to my eye!

Raghu dixit concert-
A world that functions between 9am to 5pm and which is limited to the virtual reality , music
acts as a bridge between the hectic schedules and the peace of mind state ,
Ite the one thing that people can never get bored of and there isn't a patch of land on earth
where you play a song and don't find atleast someone vibing to it , music concerts are like the
connect between the music artist and the listener , The event that i am reporting is about a
concert that i attended of a famous Indian singer RAGHU DIXIT on 16th October 2022 . The
event took place in one of Bengaluru's famous mall PHEONIX MARKETCITY , Raghu
Dixit is a well known Indian singer know for his out of the box music and singing style and
his persona on stage , he has a lott of recognisable multilingual songs and movie albums ,but
specially known for his work in kannada ,
He is also loved for his use of folk culture and his vibrant band that's the first if its kind
atleast in India , the consert was around 7 in the evening and a lot of teenagers came to attend
the consert , had a footfall of around two thousand to three thousand people , majority of the
crowd was students and young working professionals who seemed like they needed a thing
just like this off their busy lives , it was a huge stage with a lot of colourful lights
complimenting the vibe of the crowd ,
The show starts with a sound check with the band and boom here comes the man with a very
famous song , the crowd goes crazy just by the first song and starts screaming bits and pieces
of the lyrics or atleast humming the tune loudly of they didn't know that lyrics , Raghu Dixit
well known for us interactive music experiences his job very well and and kept crowd
moving and on the feets throughout the whole program. Me and my friend were looking
forward to this program for a very long time and just need this from a very very hectic
college routine and were enjoying the best part of our lives so were the other people who
attended . There were a few eateries and stalls around the venue where we could buy food
and snack ranging from burgers Pizza to concert food like beverages and hotdogs to keep
our spirits lifted me and my friends took a small break between the show although our
favorite song was playing because we were very hungry from evening so we had to eat
something .we bought snacks ant ate it as soon as possible and returned back to the show

because we didn't wanna miss songs , at the beginning of the show we had to struggle our
way to reach the front row near the stage but now since we went out we again had to do the
same thing as the lot of people had acquired our space in in the front , one hour down the
show, yet the crowd energy wasn't reduced a bit, credit goes to the singer because he stayed
enthusiastic throughout the show that made them participate in singing songs and he gave us
Parts to sing with him , it was indeed turning out to be the best night we all had in a long time
now it was crazy how the performers performed a long for a long time but did not lose a
single bit of energy while we were very very tired after dancing for a long time . Finally we
were nearing to the end of the concert and the singer announces that this was a last song and
procees to perform , the crowd knowing that this was a last song puts in all that they have
and me and my friend shout from the bottom of a lungs and jump so hard , everyone in the
crowd were also dancing so bad as if there is no tomorrow , the song finally ends and the
singer with his band comes to the edge of the stage and bows to the crowd and takes a picture
with the crowd and shouts thank you Bengaluru and the crowd replies with a loud woahhhh,
that night was indeed a very memorable night for me my friends as well as everyone else in
that venue it was a very vibrant and a memorable experience, after the show comes to end
everyone makes a small face realising the fact that they have the return to the normal
lifestyles from tomorrow , it was a magical experience indeed ,These kind of nights are the
ones a person cherishes forever.

When I started coming to class I really felt its gonna be interesting and fun apparently its not
class goes very boring in few classes I feel like sleeping but I can not teachers are pretty strict
but.some of the teachers are really sweet and I like way they explain and make me
understand and they are well organised of they teach. journalism is the subject which is
interesting and we can know about how the media works and shows some fake news and how
journalists go through many hard times like people who do bad things committing crimes and
journalists find out and they expose them and later people who have done they start abusing
them and threaten saying I’ll murder you and something like that so its very hard to do
journalism but at some point its essential to India and its helpful.
