Program Duration: October 29, 2024 – June 24, 2025

Class Rules
   1. Attendance & Punctuality:
          o Students are expected to attend all classes regularly and be on time.
          o Tardiness and unexcused absences may result in demerits.
          o Students are encouraged to notify the instructor in advance for any planned
             absences.
   2. Respect and Courtesy:
          o All students must show respect to instructors, fellow classmates, and staff.
          o No disruptive behavior, including side conversations, inappropriate language, or
             disrespectful actions, will be tolerated.
   3. Christ-Centered Engagement:
          o Students should engage with the material and discussions from a perspective of
             faith.
          o Use respectful language and a positive attitude when discussing topics related to
             faith, scripture, and differing viewpoints.
   4. Dress Code:
          o Modest, appropriate attire is required, in line with Christian values.
          o No clothing with offensive language, images, or symbols.
   5. Completion of Assignments:
          o Assignments, readings, and other tasks must be completed on time.
          o Late submissions without a valid reason may result in demerits.
   6. Mobile Phones & Technology:
          o Phones and electronic devices should be on silent and only used for academic
             purposes during class.
          o No texting or using social media during class time.
   7. Honesty and Integrity:
          o Academic honesty is required in all assignments and assessments.
          o Plagiarism, cheating, or dishonesty will result in immediate disciplinary action.
   8. Participation:
          o Active participation is encouraged in discussions, group activities, and other
             interactive sessions.
          o Students are expected to respect others' contributions and allow everyone a
             chance to speak.
   9. Prayer and Devotion:
          o The program will include times of prayer and devotion. Students are expected to
             participate respectfully, regardless of personal beliefs.
   10. Support and Encouragement:
      Encourage and support fellow classmates, reflecting Christian love and fellowship.
Demerit Program
The demerit system is designed to maintain discipline and encourage adherence to the rules in a
Christ-centered manner. Students who accumulate a certain number of demerits may face
consequences ranging from warnings to removal from the program.
Demerit Allocation:
      Tardiness: 1 demerit for each tardy arrival.
      Absences: 2 demerits for each unexcused absence.
      Disruptive Behavior: 3 demerits for each instance (e.g., talking out of turn, inappropriate
       language).
      Disrespect to Others: 4 demerits for disrespectful behavior toward instructors or
       classmates.
      Dress Code Violation: 0 demerit for each violation.
      Assignment Lateness: 3 demerit for each day an assignment is late.
      Unauthorized Phone Use: 1 demerits per incident.
      Academic Dishonesty: 5 demerits (results in immediate review).
      Lack of Participation: 1 demerit for consistent non-participation without a valid reason.
Demerit Consequences:
      5 Demerits: Verbal Warning from the instructor and discussion on behavior.
      10 Demerits: Written Warning and a meeting with the program coordinator.
      15 Demerits: Suspension from classes for one week (or equivalent program suspension).
      20 Demerits: Disciplinary Review – potential removal from the program.
Semester Dates & Credit Breakdown
   1. Semester 1 (October 29, 2024 – November 29, 2024)
         o Topics: Fundamentals of Prayer and Global Evangelism
         o Books : All Materials given to a functional area Pastor – to be present
         o Assessment: One reflection paper
         o Credits: 6 credits
         o Rationale: Introductory material, foundational topics. Lesser credits due to a
            shorter time frame and a single reflection paper assessment.
   2. Semester 2 (December 2, 2024 – January 10, 2025)
         o Topics: Christian Ethics, Spiritual Disciplines, and Faith in Action
         o Books: Acts, Luke, Hebrews
         o Assessment: Group project, mid-semester essay
         o Credits: 10 credits
         o Rationale: Deeper content with multiple assessments. This semester covers
            important Christian doctrines and practical applications, requiring more study and
            collaborative effort.
   3. Semester 3 (January 13, 2025 – February 21, 2025)
         o Topics: Church History, Worship Practices, and Ministry Skills
          o Books: Major Prophets
          o Assessment: Written exam, individual presentation
          o Credits: 10 credits
          o Rationale: The history and practice of worship and ministry are core to
            understanding Christian ministry. This semester includes an exam and
            presentation, adding depth.
   4. Semester 4 (February 24, 2025 – April 4, 2025)
         o Topics: Leadership in Faith & Revival, Apologetics, and Evangelism
         o Books: Daniel, Revelation, Zechariah, and Joel
         o Assessment: Case study analysis, group discussion
         o Credits: 12 credits
         o Rationale: This semester requires critical analysis and an understanding of
            complex theological topics. Leadership and apologetics are challenging subjects,
            and the assessments require engagement and deep thinking.
   5. Semester 5 (April 7, 2025 – May 16, 2025)
         o Topics: Contemporary Christian Issues, Counseling & Culture, and Servant
            Leadership
         o Books: Hebrews
         o Assessment: Debate, research paper
         o Credits: 10 credits
         o Rationale: The focus on contemporary issues, culture, and leadership involves
            both theory and practical application, requiring students to engage with modern
            challenges and produce well-researched work.
   6. Semester 6 (May 19, 2025 – June 24, 2025)
         o Topics: Spiritual Maturity, Personal Calling, and Missionary Work
         o Books: Scarlet Thread – Overview of the Bible
         o Assessment: Capstone project, final oral exam
         o Credits: 12 credits
         o Rationale: This final semester focuses on synthesis and application, culminating
            in a capstone project and an oral exam, which are comprehensive and demand
            significant preparation.

       accomplishments and growth in the program.
