Handbag Pattern Template and Instructions

Materials Needed:

- Leather or durable material for body and flap (1-1.5 square meters)

- Cardboard or Kraft paper for creating the pattern

- Pencil, ruler, and cutter for tracing and cutting

- Contrasting thread for visible stitching (optional)

- Buckles and metal rivets for adjustable straps

Pattern Pieces:

1. Main Body (x2): Rectangle with a slight curve at the bottom, approx. 25 cm wide x 30 cm tall.

2. Sides (x2): Narrow rectangle, approx. 10 cm wide x 30 cm tall with slight bottom curve.

3. Base (x1): Rectangle, approx. 25 cm long x 10 cm wide for structure.

4. Flap (x1): Trapezoidal shape, rounded edges, approx. 20 cm long and 18 cm at its widest.

5. Top Handle (x1): Rectangular, 2.5 cm wide x 20 cm long, can be braided for a unique look.

6. Adjustable Straps (x2): Rectangular straps, 2 cm wide x 80 cm long, with holes for adjustment.

7. Optional Back Pocket (x1): Rectangular, 15 cm wide x 10 cm tall for extra functionality.

Assembly Instructions:

1. Transfer pattern pieces to leather and cut each according to specified measurements.

2. Sew the side pieces to the main body, then attach the base piece.

3. Attach the flap to the back of the main body, ensuring proper alignment.

4. Secure adjustable straps with buckles and rivets on the sides, attach handle to top.

5. Add metal accents and ensure all pieces are aligned and reinforced.
