MOTION TO REDUCE BAIL
ACCUSED APRIL MERCADO y NAVALES, and unto this
Honorable Court, most respectfully moves:
1. That Information was filed with the Office of the Clerk of Court,
Metropolitan Trial Court of Pasig City against accused for
Violation of Batas Pambansa Bilang 22:
2. That the bail recommended for the provisional liberty of the
accused in this case is in the amount of TWENTY FOUR
THOUSAND PESOS (Php24,000.00);
3. That the accused has no source of income and she merely depended
on the help of her family and the accused have no means to produce
the amount of Php24,000.00 cash bond;
4. That the recommended bail is beyond the reach of herein
accused and for humanitarian reasons, accused respectfully asks
for the reduction of the aforesaid bail from Php24,000.00 to
Php12,000.00 to be paid in cash bond;
5. That accused undertakes to comply with all the requirements and
will always present herself in court for the early disposition of the
above-mentioned case.
PRAYER
WHEREFORE, it is most respectfully prayed that the bail
recommended of Php24,000.00 be reduced to Php12,000.00 to
be paid in cash bond and that the cash bond posted by herein accused
be admitted by the Honorable Court.
Accused prays for such other relief just and equitable under
premises.
