HOW FIVERR WORKS

Fiverr is an online marketplace where freelancers(sellers) meet people that are
ready to buy(buyers)
It is just like a marketplace, where you have an online shop, you have your
products(mostly digital products), you advertise your products and sell to buyers.
Fiverr is just like a field for sellers to meet buyers and transact.
This is basically what Fiverr is, I’m sure you will understand it more as we go on,
we will be able a lot of practical classes, so make sure you keep up with the
videos and classes on youtube
In freelancing, you only need the tools: A PC (Laptop), your mobile device, and an
internet connection.
Who is A Freelancer?
A freelancer is a self-employed person who offers various digital services often to
multiple clients at once.

LECTURE 1--- GENERAL INTRODUCTION & THE THINGS YOU NEED

BEFORE YOU OPEN AN ACCOUNT
Introduction to Fiverr, watch lecture 1
You need some things before you open your account
-A valid ID that is accepted in your country, not a school ID or a random local ID
-Have a professional picture or a very clean logo
-You will need to create professional social media accounts (Fb, Twiter,
Linkedin, and other notable social media platform)
-A valid email that you have 24/7 access to
-Lastly, a phone 🙂
It is very important for you to have all these things ready so that you won’t have
any delay later. You won’t be using the ID immediately, Fiverr will ask you to verify
your account later and you will be given a 14-days window to get it done so that
you will use the ID then, your sponsor or tutor will explain more on this.

LECTURE 2 --- ACCOUNT CREATION AND BECOMING A SELLER

Watch lecture 2
Now that you know the things you need before you proceed to account creation
-Proceed to Fiverr.com
-Register with your email and any password of your choice, verify your email
then you become a buyer
You don’t stop here, we are not on Fiverr to order people, we want to sell and
make money right. So you proceed to become a seller
Becoming a seller --- to become a seller, all you need to do is to just fill up some
details on Fiverr, that’s all, this stage is divided into 4 sections, you will see some
sections with a red asterisk, these sections are compulsory for you to fill, but you
can skip some other sections if you don’t have an answer yet and you can always
edit some of your details later.
OPB & OPK; other people’s brains and other people’s knowledge. The things you
want to do, some people have done all these things before, so you need to tap
from them. To do this go to fiverr.com on a new incognito tab, don’t log in on this

LECTURE 3 --- GIG CREATION

OPB & OPK; other people’s brains and other people’s knowledge. The things you
want to do, some people have done all these things before, so you need to tap
from them. To do this go to fiverr.com on a new incognito tab, don’t log in on this
page, just search and learn from other people, note that you must not copy and
paste other people’s stuff just tap from them, just search the services you want to
learn about, check other sellers profile/details and gigs
You need to do keyword research as well; Keyword research is a practice search engine optimization
professionals use to find and research alternative search terms that people enter into search engines while looking for a
similar subject.

Make use of https://www.keyword.io google search and Fiverr search

Lecture 3 video on GIG CREATION is very important
Your Gig is the service that you sell on Fiverr. Creating your Gig is an opportunity to show off your talent and
provide buyers with all the information they need to help them decide to do business with you.

To create a Gig:

● Click CREATE A NEW GIG.

Note: If this is your first time creating a Gig, from the Selling menu, click Start Selling. Fill out your seller

Your title should be short, clear, and to the point.

Fiverr will recommend categories and subcategories based on your title. To select a category, just click the
relevant link.

items, such as the number of logos to include, including the source file, or including a high-resolution file.

● In the My Gig Extras section, select the Extra fast delivery checkbox and indicate how many days it will

Key Terms

Custom Offers are exclusive proposals that a seller can create in response to specific requirements of a Buyer.
Custom Orders are requests made by a Buyer to receive a Custom Offer from a Seller.
Disputes are disagreements experienced during an order between a Buyer and Seller on Fiverr.
Fiverr Balance is the aggregated amount of your Revenue as a Seller and/or returned payments from canceled orders as a
Buyer.
Fiverr Credits are credits that Fiverr may provide users to be used only for purchases on Fiverr, subject to these Terms of
Service, or any other applicable laws and/or terms.
Gig® Extras are additional services offered on top of the Seller’s Gig for an additional price defined by the Seller.
Gig® Packages allow Sellers to offer services at different formats and prices. Packages can include upgrades, which lets
Sellers price their service for a basic price of over $5.
Gig® Page is where the seller can describe their Gig and the Gig’s terms, and the Buyer can purchase the Gig and create an
order.
Gig® / Gigs® are services offered on Fiverr.
Order Page is where Buyers and Sellers communicate with each other in connection with an ordered Gig.
Orders are the formal agreement between a Buyer and Seller after a purchase was made from the Seller’s Gig Page.
Payment Services Provider(s) are service providers that provide payment services to Buyers and Sellers in connection with
the Fiverr platform, including with respect to the collection of funds from Buyers in connection with purchases, remittance and
withdrawal of funds to Sellers, currency exchange services in connection with payments in local currencies, and the holding of
funds in connection with Fiverr Balances.
Revenue is the money that Sellers earn from completed orders and can either withdraw or use to purchase on Fiverr, subject
to these Terms.
Sellers are users who offer and perform services through Gigs or through the Logo Maker on Fiverr.

SELLERS
Basics
● Sellers create Gigs on Fiverr to allow Buyers to purchase their services.
● Sellers may also offer Custom Offers to Buyers in addition to their Gigs.
● Each Gig you sell and successfully complete accredits your account with net revenue of 80% of the purchase amount.
● If an order is canceled (for any reason), the funds paid will be returned to the Buyer’s Fiverr Balance.
● Revenues are only made available for withdrawal from the Revenue page following a safety clearance period of 14
days after the order is marked as complete. Top Rated Sellers and Pro Sellers are eligible to withdraw revenue following a
safety clearance period of 7 days after the order is marked as complete.
● Sellers may not promote their Gigs or any Fiverr content via the Google Ads platform.
● The Seller's rating is calculated based on the order reviews posted by Buyers. High ratings allow sellers to obtain
advanced seller levels (see Levels below). In certain cases, exceedingly low ratings may lead to the suspension of the
Seller’s account.
● For security concerns, Fiverr may temporarily disable a Seller’s ability to withdraw revenue to prevent fraudulent or
illicit activity. This may come as a result of security issues, improper behavior reported by Buyers, or associating multiple
Fiverr accounts to a single withdrawal provider.
● Sellers are responsible for paying any direct or indirect taxes, including any GST, VAT, or otherwise, which may apply
to them depending on residency or location. Sellers represent and warrant that they comply, and will comply at all times, with
their obligations under income tax provisions in their jurisdiction.

Gigs®
● Sellers are allowed to post a select amount of active Gigs based on their Level status.
○ 7 Gigs for Sellers without a Level status.
○ 10 Gigs for Level 1 Sellers.
○ 20 Gigs for Level 2 Sellers.
○ 30 Gigs for Top Rated Sellers.
● Gigs and/or users may be removed by Fiverr from the Site for violations of these Terms of Service and/or our
Community Standards, which may include (but are not limited to) the following violations and/or materials:
○ Illegal or Fraudulent services
○ Copyright Infringement, Trademark Infringement, and violation of a third party's terms of service reported through our
Intellectual Property Claims Policy found here
○ Adult oriented services, Pornographic, Inappropriate/Obscene
○ Intentional copies of Gigs
○ Spam, nonsense, or violent or deceptive Gigs
○ Gigs misleading to Buyers or others
○ Reselling of regulated goods
○ Offering to prepare academic works on behalf of Buyers
○ Services that extend beyond 30 days of service duration
○ Exceedingly low-quality Gigs
○ Promoting Fiverr and/or Fiverr Gigs through activities that are prohibited by any laws, regulations, and/or third parties'
terms of service, as well as through any marketing activity that negatively affects our relationships with our users or partners.
● Gigs that are removed for violations mentioned above, may result in the suspension of the Seller’s account.
● Gigs that are removed for violations are not eligible to be restored or edited.
● Gigs may be removed from our Search feature due to poor performance and/or user misconduct.
● Gigs may include pre-approved website URLs contained within the Gig description and requirements box. Gigs
containing websites promoting content, which violates Fiverr’s Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards, will be
removed.
● Gigs are required to have an appropriate Gig image related to the service offered. An option to upload two additional
Gig images is available to all Sellers. Sellers must deliver the same quality of service as shown on their Gig images.
Recurring deliveries that don’t match the quality shown on the Gig images may lead to the Seller’s account losing Seller
status or becoming permanently disabled.
● Gigs may contain an approved Gig Video uploaded through the Gig management tools available on Fiverr.
● Statements on the Gig Page that undermine or circumvent these Terms of Service is prohibited.
● Eligible Gigs in select Categories may set up Gig Packages to offer their services in structured formats with multiple
price points for the selected Gig.
● Certain categories are available only to Pro Sellers to create Gigs. If you are not a Pro Seller, creating a Gig for
services available to Pro only may result in the removal of your Gig.

ORDERS
Basics
● Once payment is confirmed, your order will be created and given a unique Fiverr order number (#FO).
● Sellers must deliver completed files and/or proof of work using the Deliver Work button (located on the Order page)
according to the service that was purchased and advertised on their Gig.
● The Deliver Work button may not be abused by Sellers to circumvent the Order guidelines described in this Terms of
Service. Using the “Deliver Work” button when an Order was not fulfilled may result in a cancellation of that order after review,
affect the Seller’s rating, and result in a warning to Seller.
● An Order is marked as Complete after it is marked as Delivered and then accepted by a Buyer. An Order will be
automatically marked as Complete if not accepted and no request for modification was submitted within 3 days after the order
was marked as Delivered.
● We encourage our Buyers and Sellers to try and settle conflicts amongst themselves. If for any reason this fails after
using the Resolution Center or if you encounter non-permitted usage on the Site, users can contact Fiverr's Customer
Support department for assistance here.
● Orders through the Logo Maker are completed once payment is made by the Buyer.

Handling Orders
● When a Buyer orders a Gig, the Seller is notified by email as well as notifications on the site while logged into the
account.
● Sellers are required to meet the delivery time they specified when creating their Gigs. Failing to do so will allow the
Buyer to cancel the Order when an Order is marked as late and may harm the Seller's status.
● Sellers must send completed files and/or proof of work using the Deliver Completed Work button (located on the Order
page) to mark the order as Delivered.
● Users are responsible for scanning all transferred files for viruses and malware. Fiverr will not be held responsible for
any damages which might occur due to site usage, use of content or files transferred.
● Buyers may use the "Request Revisions" feature located on the Order Page while an Order is marked as Delivered if
the delivered materials do not match the Seller's description on their Gig page or they do not match the requirements sent to
the Seller at the beginning of the order process.

Reviews
● Feedback reviews provided by Buyers while completing an Order are an essential part of Fiverr's rating system.
Reviews demonstrate the Buyer's overall experience with the Sellers and their service. Buyers are encouraged to
communicate to the Seller any concerns experienced during their active order in regards to the service provided by the Seller.
● Leaving a Buyer's feedback is a basic prerogative of a Buyer. Feedback reviews will not be removed unless there are
clear violations of our Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards.
● To prevent any misuse of our Feedback system, all feedback reviews must come from legitimate sales executed
exclusively through the Fiverr platform from users within our Community. Purchases arranged, determined to artificially
enhance seller ratings, or to abuse the Fiverr platform with purchases from additional accounts, will result in a permanent
suspension of all related accounts.
● Feedback comments given by Buyers are publicly displayed on a Seller’s Gig page.
● Work Samples are the delivered images and videos sent to a buyer in a delivery message. Work Samples are added
to a Seller's Live Portfolio on their Gig page if the Buyer chooses to publish the Work Sample while providing a public
feedback review.
● Withholding the delivery of services, files, or information required to complete the Gig’s service with the intent to gain
favorable reviews or additional services is prohibited.
● Responding and posting a review: Once work is delivered, the Buyer has three days to respond. If no response is
provided within the response period, the Order will be considered completed.
● Users are allowed to leave reviews on orders up to 10 days after an order is marked as complete. No new reviews
may be added to an Order after 10 days.
● Sellers may not solicit the removal of feedback reviews from their Buyers through mutual cancellations.
● Feedback reviews are unavailable for orders made through the Logo Maker.

Disputes and Cancellations

We encourage our Buyers and Sellers to try and settle conflicts amongst themselves. If for any reason this fails after using the
Resolution Center or if you encounter non-permitted usage on the Site, users can contact Fiverr's Customer Support
department for assistance here.

Basics
● Order cancellations can be performed on Fiverr, when eligible, by Customer Support or through the Resolution Center
per order.
● Filing a transaction dispute or reversing a payment through your payment provider or your bank is a violation of these
Terms of Service. Doing so may get your account temporarily or permanently disabled. Note: once you have filed a dispute
with your payment provider, the funds will be ineligible for a refund due to our obligations towards the payment provider.
● In the event that a Buyer or Seller encounters an issue related to the service provided in an order, you are encouraged
to use the Site's dispute resolution tools to attempt to resolve the matter.
● Fiverr, through its Payment Services Providers, reserves the right to cancel orders or place funds on hold for any
suspected fraudulent transactions made on the Site.
● All transfer and assignment of intellectual property to the Buyer shall be subject to full payment and the delivery may
not be used if payment is canceled for any reason.
● If an order is canceled (for any reason), the funds paid will be returned to the Buyer’s Fiverr Balance.
● Revisions to deliveries can be performed by Sellers based on the Seller’s Gig and customer care. Sellers may
determine the number of revisions offered to Buyers, including no revisions.
● Requests for revisions can be performed through the Order Page while the order is marked as Delivered.
● Requesting to gain more services from Sellers beyond the agreed requirements by using the Request Revisions
button is not allowed.

Order Cancellations
● Fiverr encourages Buyers and Sellers to resolve service disputes mutually using the Resolution Center.
● Eligibility for requests to Fiverr to cancel an order will be assessed by our Customer Support team based on a number
of factors, including violations of our Terms of Service and/or our Community Standards, general misconduct, and improper
usage of the Fiverr delivery system. See below for Order specific eligibility.
● Completed orders (or, where applicable, completed milestones) may be canceled, upon review of our Customer
Support team, up to 14 days after the order (or Milestone) is marked as complete. Please be advised that orders cannot be
partially canceled (i.e. we can only cancel the entire order when it is justified).
● In rare circumstances where we find it appropriate, our Customer Support team may cancel a completed order even
after 14 days have passed from its completion. In such cases, the amounts paid for the canceled order will be returned to the
Buyer’s Fiverr Balance and will be deducted from the Seller’s Fiverr Balance or, if there are no sufficient amounts in the
Seller’s Fiverr Balance, from future revenues of such Seller.
● Orders are not eligible to be canceled based on the quality of service/materials delivered by the Seller if the service
was rendered as described in the Gig Page. Buyers may rate their experience with the Seller on the Order Page, including the
overall level of service quality received.
● Buyers must use Fiverr Resolution Center to address their concerns and desired resolution related to the service
provided by their seller prior to contacting Customer Support. Customer Support will not take any action against Orders where
the Buyers failed to inform their seller of issues related to the Seller’s service and will allow sellers to provide a resolution first.
This does not include non-permitted usage of Fiverr.
● Any non-permitted usage of Fiverr encountered during an Order, after being reviewed by our Customer Support team,
may result in the order being canceled. This includes, but not limited to; harassment, unlawful behavior, or other violations of
Fiverr’s Terms of Service.
● Fiverr Customer Support will cancel orders based on, but not limited to, the following reasons:
○ Active Orders (after the buyer submits their requirements and before the seller delivers on Fiverr)
■ The Seller is late and unresponsive for more than 24 hours while the order is marked as Late.
■ Users are abusive towards the other party through threats of low ratings or leveraging order materials (such as logins,
personal information) against each other.
■ Users supplied or included copyright/trademark infringing materials as part of the Buyer requirements or the Seller’s
delivery.
■ The user is no longer an active Fiverr user due to Terms of Service violations or closure of their account.
○ Delivered Orders (after the seller clicks Deliver Now and before the order is marked as complete)
■ The Seller uses the Delivery system to extend the delivery due date to complete the requested service without
providing the final delivered service to Buyers. Note: Multiple reported offenses will result in permanent suspension of your
account.
■ The Seller delivers no files and/or proof of work related to the agreed-upon order requirements. Note: The subjectivity
of the materials in question will be reviewed by our Customer Support team.
■ The Seller requests additional payments, on or off the Fiverr platform, by withholding the final delivery of services
directly related to the agreed requirements.
■ The Seller is withholding the final delivery of services for improved ratings.
■ Buyers who abuse the Request Revisions button to gain more services from Sellers beyond the agreed requirements.
■ Buyers who threaten to leave a damaging review to gain more services from the Seller not related to the agreed
requirements.
○ Completed Orders (after the order is marked as complete and before the 14-day limitation)
■ Users who have been reported to use copyright/trademark infringing materials after verification and with proof.
■ Buyers who did not purchase commercial use rights and are reported to have used the materials commercially. Note:
Terms of Commercial use are found on the Seller’s Gig Page and cannot be retroactively included once the order is
completed for over 14 days.
■ Fiverr Customer Support will review cases of Order delivery manipulation that prevents Buyers and Sellers from fully
utilizing our Resolution Center that enabled the order to be marked as complete.

comment under videos and the group.
You will face some challenges as a new seller, you have to promote your gigs and
make sure you rank well, apart from have messages from other platforms through
promotion or getting direct message through you gigs on display/direct order on
your gig, for you to get a job on time, buyer request is very important, not only can
you get a job from buyer request, it also help in ranking your gig very fast.
There will be general offers from buyers around the world on Fiverr, buyers give
out their request, which will include job's description, budget and duration, and
they also provide links and attachment sometimes, you have the chance of
sending buyers an offer, you have the chance of sending only 10 per day, 10 offers
a day is the maximum all sellers have, everybody else on Fiverr has this
opportunity as well.
You’re not just sending your request for request sake, send it like you want to get
the job, send it like a proper proposal that can fetch you a job, put yourself in the
buyer’s shoe, can you order a seller that sends a request the way you send your
request? You have to be smart and make your special, attractive and unique so
you can get a buyer to contact you or order you straight with the offer you've
placed.
You have to check from time to time, buyer request pops up at any time, the timing
varies based on niche, check rom morning till night, even midnight sometimes, I
can’t tell you this is a fixed time for buyer request
It is one thing to get buyer request, it is another thing to send it right, to make sure
buyers will message you or order you straight.
I will share with you some guidelines on how to send a buyer request.
--First thing, try not to send buyer requests on what you don't know, on things you
have no one around you to help you with, try to avoid this because the order might
be canceled if you don't do it well and this will affect your account.
I will share with you some tips on how to send buyer requests perfectly, I will share
with you a sample or a template on how to send buyer requests.
In the video, I showed us how to get buyer’s name when sending request on PC,
now you’re on the request page, you’ve plenty job offers on your screen
---you can only send 10 in a day
---you will see the job description on one side, the budget, attachment(if any is
attached at all), duration and the number of pepole that have applied
---once you see the offers, you’ve like 2-3 minutes to reply, you have to be fast
with it, request no dey too wait o, so go for the ones that plenty people have not

apply😂😂
applied for(na because say ihn never too tey na why plenty people never
)
---read the description well, if it is something you can do within the proposed
duration and budget, most buyers do not have a fixed budget and time frame, so
you can convince them
---Now you are ready to send your offer, you have to make sure you connect
with the buyers, it’s not just about promoting or marketing yourself alone, I made
an illustration in the video; when you search on google, the way some answers will
be composed you won’t even bother to open the link, nut some links will really
catch your attention, you will just jump on it one time, this is the exact way buyers
will see some proposals and they will just scroll through
This is how it will appear on buyer’s PC, most buyers use their mobile phones
though and the view is different there, but I’m sure you can see that buyers can
sort out the list they have, it is very important for you to always online, as a buyer,
sometimes I want the job to be done on time, so I will just sort by SELLERS
ONLINE, because I need someone that will reply me immediately
--- your gig title matters too, if your gig title answers what I really want, I will
want to check out your proposal
---make sure you send on PC, so you can select a gig relating to the job
description
---after clicking on send offer and you’ve selected the right gig,you will see
where you will type your proposal, you see a space where you put budget, you get
a space for duration, revisions and some other requirements
Now, when you are sending an offer, there are some things you need to include, I
will share some tips with you right now, it's not a must you follow this pattern, this
should only serve as a guideline, I believe you will create a nice offer template
from this.
Writing your proposal or offer, try to start with greetings like
● Hello, the buyer(or buyer's name for more familiarity), introduce
yourself briefly and what you do,
● talk about experience(don't talk about the experience too much if you
know you don't have samples)
● talk about the buyer's problem, if there is an attachment or link, talk
about it,
● make the buyer believe that you understand what he is talking about
and you know what he wants, you can add a small reference
● now take your time and explain what you are going to do to solve the
buyer's problem,
● show that you know it, show that you can do the work, give him a
reason to choose you over other buyers
● Always give your buyers something in extra “JARA”, tell him/her
about the jara you will be giving out, tell them only the things you can
do and the things you will do so that you won’t appear as a liar later
● try to reduce the time frame a bit and budget if possible, try to attract
them
● then conclude your message something like(I propose we work
together on this project, just say something cool and nice)

NOTE: if you have website links or a portfolio, you should attach the URL in your
message
This sample got me a direct order from the offer I sent to the buyer, the buyer
ordered $70
"Hello there, I'm an expert in website design with years of experience and samples to show,
I'll redesign and give your GODADDY WEBSITE a new look,

I'll get it all done perfectly based on your full specifications and my professional guidance,

I propose we work together on this project. Contact me now, let's get started."

It looks quite simple right, it is not a must you send long story as your offer all the
time
Now, you have an assignment, write out 10 buyer request samples, these samples
will be your guideline, show them to your sponsor/tutor
You can test out all the samples, you can easily pick the one that's fetching you
messages as the best, with samples you will be able to send offers on time and
you will be able to send more.
You can then tweak it more for your personal buyer request sample, I'm not saying
this is will now be like your ultimate method for sending request but you can just
have it as your guideline and write your own, try to be as flexible as possible when
writing the request but there are some points you must not miss out and don't go
off point or make your offer look like copy and paste

This is a question on buyer request

“Nimotalahi olayemi, [10.05.20 12:52]

[In reply to Dami]

It's nice. Thanks but I have a question. While I was listening to it, he made mention of providing
solutions to buyers problem.
For instance in Content writing whereby buyers will say " i need a writer who can write 1000 words
and must have appropriate key words" from his request , pls what is the problem and what kind of
solution will I offer to him??. Thanks.”

Dami, [10.05.20 13:08]

okay good, the main thing is that your reply will vary depends on your niche, a buyer saying " i need
a writer who can write 1000 words and must have appropriate key words" is just like a buyer saying "I
need a website designer that can build a website" or "I need someone to market for my business"

something like this is not specific enough from the buyer, buyers like this will still have to give you
more details, in your example, the buyer is not really specific, you don't know what you will be writing
about

Dami, [10.05.20 13:13]

so, since the request is kind of general, your proposal needs to be kind of general also, and you need
to make sure you state out the fact the job offer is not specific enough and you will need to know what
he/she really wants so you will get started. if a buyer says "i need a website designer to build my
website", he is not specific enough, I will just tell him about website all round, if a buyer says "i need a
e-commerce website" what I will write will be more direct..

" i need a writer who can write 1000 words and must have appropriate key words" the problem here is
that he/she stated that he/she needs a writer and you're writing 1000 words, so your reply/solution will
be based on this information, add some details about content writing in general also

THANK YOU
LECTURE 7 --- CHATTING WITH BUYERS
Communication is key, this goes together with negotiation(you are not just talking,
you want to sell)
First thing to develop yourself you will need to read books
- For communication I will recommend How to Win Friends and Influence
People by Dale Carnegie
- For negotiating Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if Your Life Depended on It by Chris
Voss

You might think you don’t need it, no problem when you’re getting messages but they are not converting you will learn,
why do you think you will go to the market, negotiate very well(in your mind) and buy things but later when you get
home, people will tell you they’ve scammed you and you will feel bad, do you think you can just go to the market to
negotiate with a trader that has been trading and negotiating on a steady and win? But negotiating no be war, there is
nothing like losing in negotiating, if you negotiate well, it should be a win-win, for you to do this you have to learn
somethings

Now you’re a seller on fiverr, you want to sell and you’ve never sold anything at all in your life, do you think you won’t
have issues? You’re a new seller, buyers don’t trust you like level 1 and level 2 sellers, they believe you might not be a
pro, some believe you don’t deserve the price you’re trying to negotiate out, so how can you convince them? It all start
from your first reply

First thing you’ve to be always online, so you will be able to reply immediately, buyers won’t just wait for you

Buyers can contact you through your reply to a buyer request, buyers can contact you through a gig or use the get
a quote option, lastly, through your profile

You can get direct orders too, NO DM at all

● Message from buyer request or directly from your profile will look like this
● When buyers request for a quote it will be like this

● From gig
Once the buyer is in your DM, try welcome them, make them “feel at home”

There are different types of buyers, so you also need different approaches

---Imagine a buyer that send you “hello”, first thing check the proposals you’ve sent out earlier, in case you sent
him/her a proposal,

If you sent him/her an offer then go straight to the point and package/market yourself more,

If you didn’t send any offer then make your buyer feel at home well and fully explain everything you do, all your
services(you can write this done and save it as quick response)

you can create your

quick response and send it to your buyer one time instead of typing everything again, this will also help you, you will
reply really fast

If a buyer submits a quote, you’re meant to reply with greetings first as usual, the things you can do, assure the
buyer you will get it done and send a custom offer, if you want to increase anything in the buyer’s quote maybe budget
or time frame, explain to the buyer first, give him/her reasons
When a buyer asks for price, try to check your gig, look at the package that will be really nice for the buyer to get
and suggest it, don’t just give price anyhow, if your buyer is in your DM because of the prices he/she saw on your gig
and now the buyer is in your DM, you’re saying something else, you will lose customers
The pictures you saw just now shows extreme unprofessionalism, she came because of the gig price now she’s
hearing another story, it pays more to sell your gig, fiverr will tend to promote you more, this is a proven fact, this
method will help you sell more also, imagine you want to charge $40 for a job and your standard package is $50

😎😎
instead of giving the buyer a price just say I will recommend you go with my standard package, this is a proven fact
from the great Mayasondo

Read books and learn, communication and negotiation are arts and there are rules to this, learn more and earn
more simple
You can see this buyer’s feedback, while we were discussing about this project, I have zero idea about the project
or how to do it at all, but with tips over the phone I was able to get the job, he paid $310 for the job, a project I already
told him I will do for $60 in 5 days as per novice, he paid $310 for 15days delivery, I was able to convince him

While discussing with your buyers, never hesitate to ask your senior colleagues in the business for help or samples
if needed

MY BIGGEST RULE-- MAFO(DON’T BREAK) these guys are humans too so feel free and communicate well,
buyers can’t just message sellers anyhow on fiverr, if a buyer is in your DM, you only have 2-3 rivals max(other sellers
he/she is contacting), so your chance is very high

Now when a buyer stops replying to you, what will you do? Will you just send hello? Hey are you there? NO! You
don’t do this, this lesson is from a great woman in the business Miss Racheal
You send something like this instead, most of them will reply to you if they are still active on fiverr, they will let you
let you know if someone has the job already or anything sha. You can still get the job if it’s still available, if the person
handling the projects fucks up, the buyer will fall back to you. If the job is with someone else, ask why you were not
given the job(ask with sense), then don’t just leave buyers, when someone says someone has the job already, you can
still say something like this

Lastly, please abeg always carry your buyer along while working and give them the best, they will come back for
more, so you don’t need plenty buyers to make money imagine you’ve 3 buyers you work for every month steady,
imagine $100 from each of them that is $300 every month
Mafo at all, communicate well, carry your buyers along even when you are unable to do the job 100% right, the
buyer might consider the fact that you communicated well and the buyer will just accept the work like that leaving a
nice review as a plus.

1) MA FO
2) The only reason why I will earn more than you is because I know more than you and I’m applying the
things I know, time spent is not a factor at all, LEARN MORE AND EARN MORE

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
LECTURE 8 --- HOW TO DELIVER YOUR ORDERS AND RESOLUTION
CENTER
Welcome everyone
When a new buyer is in your DM, don’t be too eager to collect a job, you have to
be careful, make sure you state out the things you’re going to be doing, after the
whole negotiation, you can send something like this
-1) i will do this-------------------------------------------
-2) i will do this-------------------------------------
-3) i will ------------------------------------------
List everything out like that, put the price and timeframe, you’ve to send
something like this to avoid misunderstanding later on, some buyers can start
acting too smart later, they will want to add more work, try to clear things, list out
the things you’re going to do,what you will need, time frame and budget. Once
the buyer is cool with everything.

You can then tell him to buy a particular package on your gig or you ask him/her if
you can go ahead and create a custom offer for him/her, once the buyer says yes,
then click on the create offer button,
you can then type in the job description, time frame, price and fill up all the details
there, then fiverr will notify the buyer to accept the offer, immediately he/she pays
and submit the necessary requirement, the order will become an active order,
when you complete the order, fiverr will take 20% of the fee and you will take 80%
(on $100 order, fiverr will take $20 and you will take $80)
ORDER PAGE

Now, you can either chat with your buyer for follow up on the order page or in
the chat section, follow-up is very important, so you will be sure your buyers likes
what you’re doing till the point of delivery, you don’t just ghost a buyer then come
back few hours to the deadline, is that when you want the buyers to start making
corrections? Some might just ask for cancellation straight? If not cancellation, you
will have to extend time to continue the project.
RESOLUTION CENTER
Try your best to avoid cancellation but at the same time cancellation is better than
a bad review, if a buyer should give you a 1-star review as a new guy, you’re
gone, sometimes if there is no other way after consulting your senior colleagues,
then you can be allowed to cancel an order, don’t ever cancel an order on your
own without telling a senior colleague first.
Steady update and follow-up will save you from cancellation, you will get 5-star
reviews always, even when the job is not perfect, most of them will not vex too
much, I’m not saying you should do a whack job though, buyers are always ready
to cancel, so be careful.
On the order page, we have everything that has to do with your order
success/failure,
-You will have all the chat from dm
-You will have the answers to your stated requirements
-You will have all the sent files here
-Option to deliver will be right on top of the page
-Option to use resolution center(for adjusting any term on your order
which include cancellation also)
-You will also review your buyer on this page, if you don’t review your
buyer, the buyer’s review will not be active too
-Never ask your buyers for reviews, only tell them to leave feedbacks,
fiverr is against asking for reviews
-On the resolution center you’ve a lot of options there that can be used
If you’ve any part that is confusing or unclear, please leave a message
THANK YOU
