Your school will be hosting a Computer Olympiad. An information desk has been set
up to allow people to see what projects are available, and where they are located in the
lab. The computers at various displays need to be linked to a file server at the
information desk
9.1 Give TWO general advantages of connecting computers and devices (2)
wirelessly, besides any cost factors.
9.2 What type of communication device would you have to install to give (1)
everyone wireless access in this situation.
9.3 The organiser would like an Intranet to be set up for the Olympiads.
9.3.1 Explain what an intranet is. (2)
9.3.2 Give TWO possible reasons why it would be better to use an (2)
intranet instead of a website on the internet at this Olympiad.
