★ WHO ARE GETTING AFFECTED BY THIS PROBLEM?


1.) Children and Pregnant Women: Malnutrition during critical developmental
stages leads to lifelong health issues.
2.) Rural Communities: Small-scale farmers often lack access to resources,
markets, and technology, perpetuating food insecurity.
3.) Conflict Zones: Wars and conflicts disrupt food production and distribution,
exacerbating hunger.
4.) Urban Poor: Limited access to nutritious food in urban areas due to poverty
and food deserts.

★ WHAT CAN BE DONE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM?


1.) Promote Sustainable Farming Practices: Agroecology, crop
diversification, and conservation agriculture can enhance
resilience and productivity.
2.) Invest in Social Protection: Implement safety nets such as food
assistance programs and cash transfers to vulnerable
populations.

3.) Enhance Market Access: Improve infrastructure, transportation,


and market facilities to connect farmers with consumers.
4.) Address Root Causes: Tackle poverty, inequality, and conflict to
create an enabling environment for food security.
5.) Educate and Empower: Raise awareness about nutrition,

communities.
