Setting Procedure of Network Drive Function
(MAPPS II / III / IV)
  With MAPPS II, III, and IV, you can assign a share folder on a personal
  computer (PC) to the MAPPS network drive and input-output data to
  and from the network drive.
  The MAPPS network drive requires no special application on PC and
  enables high speed input-output transmission.
  This document provides procedures to set the input-output function to the
  network drive.

  1. Setup of a share folder on PC
 Set a folder designated as a storage of input-output programs on PC so
 that it is sharable and accessible with Window setting.
 Note) The share folder must be named with English one byte characters.
 the case of Windows7/8
  Open the properties of
  the folder you want to share
  on a personal computer,                                (A)
  then press “share”(A) button.
   Press “Share”(B) button on
   the following screen.

   if you need something such
   as writing on this share folder.

  Open the properties of the folder
  you want to share on a personal
  computer, then select                                 (B)

 Setting of MAPPS parameter
  Change MAPPS parameter to make the network drive I/O valid.
  No.1340=1
 Set the network drive function after setting MAPPS parameters.
   1. Press F5 key [COMM. SETNG].
        The network function selection
        screen is displayed as shown right.
        Note) Depending on the MAPPS II/III/IV
              setting, it may not be possible to
              select some items.

       2. Enter “4” with the data entry keys.
          The MORI-DSN FUNCTION
          SETTING screen is displayed,
          as shown right.

       A) NETWORK DRIVE Function
          Select VALID to be available network drive I/O.
       B) COMPUTER NAME/IP ADDRESS
          Set the computer name or IP address of the PC having the share folder.
       C) Share Folder Name
          Set the name of the share folder.
         The case of Windows7/8:                          The case of Windows XP:
           Set a folder name in the following red box.      Set a share name.

       D) User Name
           Set a user name to access the share folder. The name must be a user
           name of an account accessible to the share folder, such as Administrator
           in PC having the share folder.
           In the case of a domain account, first input the domain name.
          *ex [domain¥user]
          <Note> Make sure to use an account with password set.
       E) PASSWORD
          Set a password of a user to access the share folder, which is for an
          account accessible to the share folder, such as Administrator in PC
          having the share folder.
       5. Press F9 key [SET].
          After setting, the NETWORK DRIVE is mapped automatically.

  3. Setting of COMMUNICATION PARAMETERS
  Change the communication parameters after setting the network drive
     function.
  1.Press function key[SETTING]
    and input “64”.
    So the “Communication
    parameters” screen is displayed.
  2. Select [NETWORK] and press
     F9 key [SET].
     Next push F6 key [EXECUTE]
     and it is completed.

  4. Input and Output
   PROG “PROGRAM LIST” SCREEN
    To input-output data, press F1 “PROG.LIST” to open “PROGRAM
    LISET” SCREEN, and press F3 “PUNCH/READ”. When “NETWORK”
    at “I/O DEV.” and “Q:” at “FOLDER” are displayed, I/O of network drive
    is available.

  4. Input and Output
   CAPS “CONVERS. PROGRAM LIST” SCREEN
    To input-output data, open“CONVERS.PROGRAM LIST” and press
    F9 “PUNCH” or F10 “READ”. When “NETWORK Q:” is displayed,
    I/O of network drive is available.

  4. Input and Output
   SYSTEM “INPUT/OUTPUT” SCREEN
    To input-output data, open“INPUT/OUTPUT” SCREEN, and press F9
    “PUNCH” or F10 “READ” When “NETWORK” and “Q:” are
    displayed, I/O of network drive is available.

  4. Input and Output
   MEDIA VIEWER
    Display Media Viewer screen and press F9 key [MEDIA CHANGE].
    So you can select NETWORK DRIVE (Q:).
