4 Volt Preamplifier Output

A high-output preamplifier voltage provides
reduced signal clipping, less chance of vehicle
electrical noises altering signals between source
unit and amplifier, and a lower amplifier input gain
setting to reduce system noise levels.
A 4-volt low impedance (less than 300 ohms) out-
put in our ProAudio source units and processors
minimizes the possibility of a clipped and distort-
ed output signal. This results in a much cleaner
musical signal sent to the power amplifier, so the
amplifier reproduces a cleaner high-level signal.

Clarion’s Low-Vibration Suspension
System
Clarion CD players, CD and DVD changers fea-
ture an advanced suspension system to pre-
vent skipping and mistracking. Clarion incorpo-
rates a system of springs and dampeners to
minimize the chances of skipping, whether on-
road, off-road or on the water. Along with the
suspension system, a three-beam laser pick-
up assembly is employed. The center pick-up
detects the digital information that is sent to the
D/A converter. The inner and outer pick-ups
guide the laser assembly to precisely track the
digital information on the CD.

Clarion’s CD Operational Safeguards

Clarion’s CD operational safeguards allow the
