TITLE: AGTABAHU TA’Y PARA ITI BIAG NGA AGNANAYUN (Let us work for our
eternity)
TEXT: ECCLESIASTES 2: 17-26
God is our creator. He rules beyond eternity.
As a man created by God, we must then fear him and keep his commands.
(Ecclesiastes 12:13)
In order to fear and obey him, we must first long to know the living God.
John 17: 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and
Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
Life eternal is knowing fully who God is.
We must be careful in knowing the living God. For many Christians nowadays
think they know God, they may show devotion their earnest devotion but has
lived not knowing fully who God is.
To know God, we cannot do it in our own physical senses.
It is beyond our physical sense to know God.
Therefore to know God we must rely on God himself that he may reveal himself
to us.
Matthew 16:13-19 – Peter confessed that Jesus is the Son of the Living God.
That is why the very 1st step for us to be truly an accepted by God (John 1:12)
we must believe and accept Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. (John 3:36)
whoever rejects him, God’s wrath will remain.
John 16:9 Sin of Unbelief can only be forgiven unless a that person accepted
Christ.
We must be clear that salvation is not through our own righteousness.
But is only by Jesus the Son.
James 5:20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save
them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
We must then continue to desire to know God and be equipped to be used by Him.
TO be a light in this crooked generation.
This generation is getting wicked, they are now twisting the truth, they want to be
accepted by the world. That the sin that God hates they want the world to accept it.
But we must be one in God in his righteousness. We must belong to God and do not
conform to the pattern of this world. (Romans 12:2)
To speak the truth, we must be ready to be persecuted. (2 Timothy 3:12)
Acts 4:19-20 – Peter defended that it is better to obey God rather than
men
Matthew 9:37-38 – workers are few but the harvest is plentiful.
To be a Pastor is never easy, but it is the most rewarding in the sight of
God.
Matthew 25:23 – Well done good and faithful servant.
We need then to be faithful until the end.
What good is it if we gain the whole world but looses our soul. (Matthew
16:26)
The promise is that he will be with us. Matthew 28:19-20
