To the editor,
The Indian express,
Dear Editor,
Yesterday it came to my notice that a number of senior citizens in my area have
been murdered in the past month or so and the numbers seem to be increasing
drastically. With reference to the above subject, I request you to publish an article
regarding the same
Publishing this article will help me get attention from the police so they can
increase the patrol measures as well as the officers. This has been going on for
quite some time and has become extremely concerning for me as well as the
small amount of population living in this area. If the current situation persists this
very well might become the most dangerous city.
I humbly request you to publish an article about this as The police are not carrying
out their duty as they should hence I need your help to throw some light on this
topic
Yours faithfully,
Durva Barbate

Dear editor,
This is regarding the concern of mine as well as the city, its overwhelming and not
being cared for at all. I write this letter on the behalf of my city, hoping you would
write an article on this issue to get some attention from the government to help
us improve our living conditions.
There are mountains of trash surrounding our neighbourhood. People throw
garbage on the streets, shopkeepers throw waste and street vendors do the
same. This issue has been noticed by the municipal corporation but no long term
action has been taken yet. This has led to many diseases being spread across the
city.
Residents are to blame, but the municipality's carelessness in failing to promptly
remove these piles is also to blame. The locals have attempted to reach the
authorities but have been unsuccessful. The necessity of publishing this piece as
soon as possible is something I'd like to emphasise.
Yours sincerely,
Durva Barbate `16y [p7
